This was my second visit, my first visit i ordered the seafood paella, it was amazing, we made a point to go back, which we did, but this time it was a big disappointment, the seafood paella came without shrimp, the rice was white, it's supposed to be yellow, also there was hardly enough rice for the two of us. Food was delicious, we started with a very generous portion of the house mixed salad with a chicken and a spinach and cheese empanada. We also had a shrimp pizza that was very good. The place was clean and simple in decor. The service was wonderful and our waitress was kind and friendly and helped me with my primitive spanish skills. We ordered the flan for dessert and it was sweet cool and yummy. I recommend this restaurant as a fun and informal family style place. Oh , and the music they play there is very nice, the Gipsy Kings really add to the Spanish vibe and the music is at just the right volume to have a conversation with your friend! Just got back from Spain and was craving the food. They have a really good samdwhich with the tomato rub and actual imported serrano meat (10/10) . The boquadillos were not as good as the ones in spain but i get it (8/10). The samgria 1/2 liter was refreshing and the price was right , perfect for a hot day (9/10).. Went for my first time -- and definitely not my last time -- today for quick lunch and WOW, this place knows how to cook. I got the beef, spinach/cheese and chicken empanadas and each is exquisitely delicious in their own way. The spinach and cheese one made me contemplate being vegetarian and only eating these the rest of my life -- whatever cheese is in there is perfectly melty, flavorful and comforting. I'm so excited to go back and check out the rest of the dishes -- the market is great too! I grabbed a variety of homemade cookies -- perfectly teeny jammy Linzer type cookies, really cute chocolate heart sandwich cookie and almond horns, etc. -- and they'll now be my go-to place for bakery treats. I read that low rating about a $50 meal. I ordered a tortilla and a passionfruit drink for a bit more than $20. They were both good, and the tortilla was big enough that I took part of it home for a later meal. The menu shows a wide variety of dishes from Spain and Argentina. They also sell cheeses, chimmichuri, and canned Spanish seafoods. The ambiance is nothing, but the food is everything. I will come back again when I am in the area. read more

Decided to go try this place on a whim and boy was it severely disappointing. No A/C, I repeat NO A/C! We ordered the paella mixed and a couple of empanadas and some chicken nuggets and fries for our daughter. I'll start with the empanadas: they were small, over fried and tasteless. The best kept secret in this neighborhood. The food is so fresh and authentic and made with love. I had all three types of empanadas: ground beef, spinach, and chicken. The beef is my favorite and tastes just like the traditional Cuban picadillo. I also tried the arroz con pollo. Great portion size, depth of flavor, juicy fall-off-the-bone chicken. What an amazing experience at this restaurant! I pass by here all the time and am so happy I finally stopped in. The empanada carne o' pollo was wow the best one I've had in LA, especially with the chimichurri sauce. Yes, I said that. And also had the tortilla de espinacas. It was so fresh and full of flavor. As soon as we started serving, we noticed a LONG WHITE HAIR intertwined in between the rice. I immediately called the place and notified them about the hair in our food and they very rude and unprofessional about what could have happened. They proceed to NOT take any responsibility about the situation and they refused to help me, regardless of us being in a middle of PANDEMIC. OMG!!! The empanadas are incredible. For years, hubby and I were fans of El Morfi Grill empanadas. We have a new favorite now - Spain Restaurant. We have never ordered from here before but decided to give it a try. We ordered four different flavors: spicy beef, chicken, ham & cheese and spinach and loved every flavor. The empanadas came with some kind of olive oil and spice dipping sauce that was great too. We ordered 10 empanadas, thinking that they were just appetizer sized. It was a pleasant surprise to discover how wrong we were. For us, two empanadas each was a meal. After checking out the rest of the menu, hubby and I will definitely be trying this place again. read more

Love this restaurant but it needs to get its act together. The food is amazing, great variety and prices. The the things I don't like are: the fact that they have 1 server for 10 tables, their paella is the best but slightly over priced and they have good empanadas and tortillas (the potato and egg casserole kind). We ordered two tortillas but one of them came out after about 1 hour so some of the kids were hungry and ended up not eating. The sangria is pretty good I just really wish the service was better and they had more servers. read more

After studying abroad in Spain I wanted to see if the food would be similar to the one over there. After doing some research this restaurant was the closest to me. I came on a weekday with my sister and we order the paella and a tortilla de patata. The restaurant was empty but we waited around 45min for our food to be ready. There was also only one waiter which was okay because we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was okay not the same as over there but I guess it's because they can't buy the same fresh ingredients as Spain. The one thing I would recommend would be the Sangria, it was really good. I don't think I would come again because it's a little pricy. For me it was a one time thing. I would keep looking for other restaurants that serve paella. read more
