The best addition to EaHo! This spot checks all the boxes. The place is gorgeous and welcoming. Hospitality is top-notch. And the food exceeded expectations. Can't go wrong with the empanadas or salgados. Please try the Ambue salad and pulpo with maracuya! They only recently opened but I'll definitely be a regular here.

Couldn't be happier with this dining experience. Our server, Fernando, was incredibly kind and generous. Some of the best service we've had. The owner, Jose, was also incredibly kind and passionate about what he does. You can tell there's a lot of love in this business. The food speaks for itself, their craft is perfected. The location is clean and classy, with tasteful decor. They plan on hosting dance classes and events here in the future, something to be excited for. Truly a gem, and so excited for their growth!

Decided to try this new Brazilian and Argentinian restaurant. First of all, the place is super cute! The decor of the place is really stylish and the chairs are super comfortable. The food was 10/10 I got the Ambue salad with chicken, the chicken was juicy and tender. My partner got the Brazilian chicken plate with beans and rice which was so delicious. The prices were down to earth which makes me wants to return again. Service was also really attentive and hospitable.

Excellent and friendly service Delicious food, beautiful ambience Highly recommended

Parrillada

Live in the neighborhood and was excited to see a new Brazilian and Argentinian restaurant open up. We went with some friends for dinner and were blown away -- the food was incredible and the ambience was perfect. We ordered the beef and ham & cheese empanadas and they were so crispy and delicious. The beef empanadas might be the best I've ever had! We also ordered the Pão de quejio, which is a must order, and then split the parrillada. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken was marinated and very flavorful. The sausage was a surprise standout for me! We then split the flan (incredible) and the owners brought us a passion fruit sort of custard dessert as well which was fantastic. The owners both came and talked to us and shared their journey opening the restaurant. They're so kind and warm, and Ambue is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This place honestly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked into Ambue Restaurant, the service stood out right away--super welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they really care about their customers and the overall experience, not just the food. We ordered the grilled salmon with rice, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, and everything was cooked perfectly. The salmon was juicy, tender, and full of flavor with a beautiful char on the outside. The sauce complemented it perfectly without overpowering the natural taste of the fish. The rice was fluffy, the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy, and the grilled vegetables added that perfect balance with a slightly smoky flavor. One of the highlights was definitely the wine pairing. It was spot on and elevated the entire meal to another level. It's not just about eating here--it's a full dining experience. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and very comfortable. Whether you're coming for a casual dinner, a date night, or even just to relax with a glass of wine, this place fits perfectly. The attention to detail--from presentation to service--really makes a difference. What I also appreciated is consistency in quality. Everything felt fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully put together. You don't find that everywhere. If you're in Los Angeles and looking for a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe, Ambue Restaurant is definitely a must-visit. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again.

First of all, our server was wonderful -- incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. He gave thoughtful recommendations and explained the specials so well that we were immediately tempted. Now, I'll preface this by saying I'm half Argentinian -- so I'm very picky when it comes to Argentine food, especially chimichurri. I'm usually pretty critical. But Lala's absolutely delivered. The chimichurri was delicious -- bright, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Paired with the fresh, warm table bread? So good. Even though I normally can't resist empanadas, we followed our server's recommendation and started with the morcilla (blood sausage). It was incredible -- rich, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. For my entrée, I ordered the Fresh Spinach Pappardelle and took our server's suggestion to pair it with pesto sauce. As someone who loves pesto (and finds it surprisingly hard to get right in Southern California), I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. It was fresh, vibrant, and satisfying without being heavy. My boyfriend ordered the Lomo (center-cut filet mignon). He's a sous chef at his own restaurant, so he's extremely critical when dining out -- and he had nothing but amazing things to say. That says a lot. The food quality was superb, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe was perfect for a Valentine's dinner. We'll absolutely be back -- and next time, I'm bringing my best friend (also half Argentinian) for her approval.

I did not even look at the menu and the server should mention I said. She said we can not do that! I'm like, yes you can and should. I worked 20yrs serving. She said well you can leave and not come back! Wow. I wasn't even being rude just honest. She offered me to buy a Mexican soda for $4.00 which is usually $1.50 max anywhere else. And wow. Such disrespect! I asked about their children and was treated like dirt from this owner. Terrible. I'll never refer anyone again and this is no way to treat someone who simply disagreed with you and was put in a situation because I wasn't told there was a $10 min with a card. And I didn't have cash. Outrageous disrespect!!!! SMH Bye Felisha. I've told many people about this place and I will be sure to tell people how I was treated. Disgraceful. And, how do you serve food and drinks and don't offer a restroom. They used to have one we could use. So I had to go next door and ask the restaurant if I could use theirs. Thankfully they let me. Over all soooo terribly disappointing. Wow!

However, I was a bit disappointed with the steak which was tough and didn't really give that "fried" feel. - Jalea de Pescado con Mariscos: Favorite dish of the night. I liked the variety of all the fried seafood and yucca. The fried shrimp was good and it was even enjoyable to eat the tail.
