A few months ago I had reacted hastily to an incident with one employee and wanted to do the right thing and followed up on that review that never felt good to post because these guys has become like family. I guess sometime family disagree but I'd never want to hurt my family in any way with public chastise. It never sat right with me going the route I did to solve an incident so I wanted to say, Joe and the crew has been nothing but fair to me, considerate and went above and beyond each visit to make sure I leave satisfied and I'd never want my emotions or my response in the heat of the moment to ever get them in trouble when they has been nothing but good to me. Whoever this may concern or whoever the owner in charge, let me update this, with saying Joe and the crew being one of the best crew you got and I'd never want them to be in trouble for any past hiccups. Please let them know how much of a good job they're doing for the wildbird brand because employees are the backbone that keep us coming back in the sea of millions of options. thanks for being one of the most reliable and healthy option throughout hollywood. still my favorite chicken joint. read more

We were in the area to go to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. We wanted something fresh and quick. We were able to find parking on the street quick enough right on the block where this place was, which was great especially considering the area it's in. Anyway, ordering was easy-you walk in a can order from a kiosk. At the time, it was only us 2 and one other table with 1 person, not sure if they had a lot of online orders to fill, but our food did take about 10 minutes to get. The food itself was good and there was plenty of it! I was able to save most of my salad for later on. Overall, it's a good healthier option for fast food if you're in need in the area. The only thing that turned me off towards the place is that it was a little dirty in the dining room-the floor needed to be swept, tables were visibly dirty and there was some dust on some of the deco. read more

Okay, first of all--JOE AND GINA!!! I'm literally not sure how they did it, but I was standing at the register laughing, smiling, and having the best time with them. They are SUCH good vibes and genuinely made the whole experience. And then the JUICES. Oh my God. Everything is house-made--the watermelon juice, the hibiscus, and the coconut horchata are absolutely INSANE. They let me try all of them, and we even mixed two together and accidentally created this delicious smoothie concoction that I'm now obsessed with. Highly, highly recommend asking them about it! And on top of all of that, the food is EXCELLENT. Everything feels fresh, healthy, delicious, and just GOOD. I was so happy I randomly stumbled upon Wild Bird because this is absolutely one of those places you want to come back to. Seriously, go visit Joe and Gina. Come for the food, come for the juices, come for the good vibes--and come try our new smoothie concoction. I cannot recommend this place enough. SO GOOD!!! read more

First time at Wildbird. Didn't know what to expect but I wanted to eat as cleanly as I can this week. The inside is very clean although plain. It felt like any fast casual spot. You order through a kiosk and get a number. The ordering process is very easy with photos so I just chose what I want with the substitutions I wanted all in the kiosk. You also get to choose up to 2 sauces. I ordered the Bonless Breast market plate and subbed kale salad for the rice. It looked really plain, but was actually really good. The chicken was not dry and had good flavor. The kale salad was very lightly dressed even without me asking them to do so. My favorite was the sweet potatoes, which were both soft on the inside crunchy and chip-like on the outside. Fantastic! The food came out in less then 10min. I would be back. I really liked my food. I like the ease of the ordering and everything was simple and healthy. read more

This spot was in a quiet and clean spot in the middle of Hollywood which I really liked. Really appreciate how there's a kiosk up front so we can choose what we want on our on timing. Chose to dine in and waited not too long before the food came out and they served our plates directly to us which was convenient. Chicken was really juicy and tender, and paired nicely with the fresh kale, goat cheese, and sweet potatoes from the harvest bowl. Able to return the bowls back for reuse, so that's a big plus on the eco friendly aspect of this restaurant. I recommend this place! read more

WILDBIRD - My salad is the absolute bomb!! - Chicken Shop Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I arrived early in the complex for an appointment so I decided to grab dinner since I had time. I have never heard of Wildbird before, but since I have been trying to eat healthier options, I decided to try it out. I ordered at the kiosk and then went to find a seat. All of the tables were dirty with food crumbs, and the seat cushions on the bench were so filthy, full of stains. Honestly, they need to throw those cushions away! I opted to sit at the window area since it was the only clean option. About 5 min later the waiter walks from behind me and puts the plate down without saying a word and quickly walks away. I literally turned around as he walked away and yelled across the restaurant, "do you have a cup for water?!" and walked over to get it from him. I ordered the quarter bird with brussels sprouts and macaroni salad. The food was good. Not the best mac salad I have ever had, but good. I would eat Wildbird again, but not at this location. read more

So I stumbled upon wow bird on my way to somebody else when you walk in the service was awesome. The guys were very welcoming and helpful with helping you decide what to have on the menu even let us try some of the food first to see what we wanted to choose. The ambience is nice. It's a couple of seats and don't miss the beer on top. This was some delicious grilled chicken not to mention brussels sprouts and the sweet potatoes. They have a taco Tuesday special on Tuesday with two dollar tacos so don't miss that so if you're on sunset and you're hungry, don't miss Wildbird read more

Wild Bird was a pleasant surprise. We ordered two Chicken Tinga bowls along with the guacamole and chips. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The chicken had a nice kick to it, so if you're sensitive to spice, you may want to consider one of the milder options. I enjoyed the heat, but it was definitely noticeable. The bowls were a good size and came with plenty of food. The combination of the spicy chicken, sweet yams, and charred broccoli worked really well together and made for a satisfying lunch. It was one of those meals that managed to be both healthy and tasty, which is harder to find than it should be. If you're dining in, you can also ask them to substitute the rice, making it an even better option for those looking for a lower-carb, high-protein meal. The guacamole was another standout. It tasted freshly made, was well seasoned, and paired perfectly with the chips. I kept looking at the half chickens coming out of the kitchen and will probably try one next time, but the Chicken Tinga bowl was substantial enough that I didn't feel like I was missing out. Good portions, fresh ingredients, plenty of protein, and very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was enjoyable, and I'd gladly come back to try more of the menu. read more

We ordered through a delivery system and I was skeptical. I got the chicken tacos with the sides of macaroni salad and street corn. Terrible. Tacos were crispy but easily fell apart. Chicken inside was DRY, TOUGH and WTF! Macaroni salad is flavorless. I took two small bites and knew it's destination was the trash. The street corn had black beans in it and was also flavorless. Again, I took two small bites and judged the garbage could have the rest. My total was 30 so I wasted 30 dollars on food that should've went straight to the dumpster to begin with. I will not patronize this establishment again. Leaving my review to remind myself and warn my friends! read more

I love the Tinga chicken! Better than Tillman Marsala! The staff was really helpful Into guiding me with recommendations. I offered me a sample to make sure I would like my order so decided to go with his suggested dish's! Joe went above and beyond. Came for lunch. Smells yummy! Joe was nice and answered my questions. We used the kiosk to order. Joe was very busy! We order a quarter bird all white meat with choice of 2 sides (kale, salad, and ) and the tinga bowl with choice of two sides (Mac salad and chard broccoli). The food was delicious!!!!! Chicken was flavored extremely well cooked perfect the beans were fabulous. The kale salad was light and crisp. The salsa I chose were the spicy ones the green and the charred tomato along with pico de gallo. Added chips for extra cost. If you check in and write a yelp review, you can get free chips and salsa which I asked you about but we didn't get that so I will get it on my next visit. He was too busy and we had enough food so next time. I will definitely come back! The food here is a healthier option if you're looking for something light and fresh. Management/Owner: you should open a location near CSUN Northridge/Porter Ranch area....you'd do great! I would love it!!! Please! read more

This was my first time at Wild Bird, and while it's a bit tucked away, it's absolutely worth finding. I chose it because a friend and I were heading to a show and I wanted something on the healthier side for dinner--and it delivered. There are tons of great options, but I went with the market boneless protein plate. The variety of veggies alone makes it a win, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling heavy. But honestly, the highlight of the visit? Joe at the counter. He was super friendly from the start, and by chance, he ended up taking his break while we were eating outside. We got to chatting, and he completely elevated the experience. Just one of those people who's easy to talk to and makes you feel welcome right away. There was a bit of chaos from some... let's say very enthusiastic vocal warmups happening at the jazz club next door, which might make me rethink sitting on the patio next time. But laughing about it with Joe turned it into part of the fun. Great food, great vibes, and great people. I'll definitely be back--maybe just inside next time. read more

This is one of my favorite fast casual places in LA. The chicken and sides is very high quality (especially compared to Pollo Loco). I've not been to other locations but this one is fairly well kept considering where it is on Sunset Avenue. That said, it is very close to my gym and makes for a great post workout location. I am deducting a star becuase they inexplicably got rid of the sweet potatoes. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this! I had no idea what to expect. I feel like a lot of places that have the same vibe or same concept is pretty average but I had a lovely experience overall. I took the quarter leg plate to go and the person helping me was patient as I was barely thinking due to being post workout (it was intense). The wait wasn't super long and the person who gave me my food was very nice and helpful with the kind of salsa I wanted. The chicken was so so flavorful! I got two pieces of dark meat and I genuinely loved it. The broccoli was also very flavorful. I was shocked. The rice was also a decent portion and tasted good. I would 100% come back! A good option in the area if you're looking for a healthy, protein rich meal. Essentially you pick a chicken size (quarter, half, whole) and two sides for your meal. The chicken is really generous. My fiance and I split a chicken half and it was really filling. The chicken quality is quite good too. The service can be improved a bit. I ordered pickup and I was essentially standing at the pickup, staring at the to go bag with my name on it (behind the counter), and nobody helped me for a long time. I was the only one standing there and there were multiple persons behind the counter. On top of this, they did not put the sauces I ordered in my bag :( the bag was sealed so I didn't realize until I got home. read more
