Worst experience ever. Very unprofessional service. The energy on the place is horrible and they don't have toddler seats. We were repeatedly lied to about when our food would be ready--each time we asked, the time kept changing (5 minutes, then 6, then longer). We waited 2 and a half hours for our food. Only one plate was brought out at a time, with about 15 minutes between each one. The Cuban guy got our order wrong and brought the wrong plates. My dad paid after being told the last two plates were ready and just needed to be packaged, but that was not true. After taking the payment, the Cuban guy ignored us and started just talking to another customer. I had 2 ask twice after he finally got the food that I needed the food to leave he was purposely keeping it to hang on to us longer. He did not like that we kept asking him about the time of our food so he was purposely doing things to be rude. The food was terrible: some plates were undercooked and others were burned. On top of that, it was expensive this is not a high end restaurant so why try to charge like one By far the worst restaurant experience I've had. read more

First time visiting and I have mixed feelings. The food was great--definitely the highlight--but the service really brought the experience down. My friend and I were the only people in the restaurant, yet service was surprisingly lacking. Our server never checked in on us and didn't even offer water, which felt odd. Her overall attitude came across as uninterested and unwelcoming. Things got more awkward when we asked for the check. We had initially said we'd pay cash but ended up using a credit card, and that seemed to annoy her. She made a few side comments that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I came in on a Friday around 630PM and the place was empty and I was the only person in there. The girl at the register looked less than thrilled to be there. I was excited to try the place since my husband is half Colombian. I wanted a few things on the menu but 2 of them they said were not available. In the end I just ordered 2 empanadas, chicken, because they had no beef, and 2 pan de buonos. It took about 15 minutes or so to "make" everything and pack up my order. A gentlemen arrived while I was ordering my food and just stood near me until I finished ordering. Once I finished he walked behind the counter. When she was doing stuff behind the counter they put up this weird room divider so you couldn't see what was going on in the kitchen area. They carried on a conversation while I waited for my food. This was a bit strange for me especially since I was the only one in there. The empanadas were very dry and the masa was soggy. The flavor of the chicken was lacking but the ajo sauce was very good. The pan de buono's were very chewy from being reheated and were pretty greasy too. The place is cute inside but I don't think we will be back here, and hope they can improve their customer service and food quality. read more

I ended up waiting 1 hour for the food to come out and it was only after we asked 2 times and each time they said it was almost ready... that was a lie. They hadn't even started the order. Took it home and was so disappointed. I ordered the recalentado and it had no flavor. Not even salt could fix it. The empanada de pollo was great, but would I go back just for the empanada? You order inside. But the real charm of the place is the cute little patio. The place is in a weird spot where there isn't much else around- no other businesses. Not many homes. But it's well worth stopping here. The food is good and was made fresh to order. The arepa was LIT. I got mine with chicken. It set me back about 15 bucks. It's big. Heavy. Flavorful. This place has such great charm. I hope it becomes a staple of the neighborhood. read more

Arrived at 4pm and put our name in for a table of 6. We knew there would be a wait so that wasn't the problem. Owner seemed very nice and apologetic. At 4:30 we put our order in so it would be ready by the time we were seated. We were seated at 5 and didn't receive food until 5:45. Food was okay. The arepas came out cold as well as the yuca fries. Chicharron was good but nothing special. Overall just flavorless. I couldn't finish it without hot sauce, which took the server 15 minutes to bring. Kitchen, servers, and the owner were fighting with each other the whole time. One of the chefs was drinking a beer while cooking. Overall just a mess. Very disappointed. read more

No I would recommend this place take your money somewhere the employees don't treat you like a costumer . We visit the place the first time and told the girl what she will recommend . They didn't have a physical menu ok . That it has to be ordered through a tablet . My husband in a joking way told the girl we are old school people . Why they don't have physical menus So the girl responded was to get with the Era 2025 we were speechless with her response even the other employee next to her was surprised with her response , that was very rude we ended up leaving the place and go to our usual Colombia restaurant . To be a new restaurant should have more manner people working. Or every customer will walk out !! read more

First of all it is all pre-frozen subpar food. NOTHING was good. Service was mediocre. Nothing fresh not even a lime or avocado was on any plate or to be seen. They run out of 1/3 of the menu items after being opened for less than 4 hours. It is a horrible representation of the Colombian cuisine. The photos do NOT look like the food they bring to the table. WARNING....they give you credit if you review them with five stars so do NOT be fooled by the reviews submitted. The owner is also very rude......Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money. My son was just in Colombia so he ordered are food & the server also suggested the soup of the day "beef stew" absolutely delicious. The pork belly was next level, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, easily one of the best I've ever had. Came in and loved the Colombian music. It made me feel like I was back in Medallo. The service was nice and friendly - you order in the front and they'll bring the food to you. I went yesterday because it was a convenient place, just two blocks from my home, and since I'm Colombian I wanted to try Colombian food which I really miss. The experience was terrible. I ordered an arepa mixta rellena that was cold, the ingredients were like they just put them inside the arepa directly from the freezer without even warmth them up. The tasted wasn't good. I almost left the whole arepa and just drank the little "hit". The place was empty, not people and the loud music was annoying. Ambiance was ok I guess. I came home and I had indigestion and even threw up a couple of times. Never going back. My favorite Colombian restaurant is a little far but after yesterday I don't mind the drive any more. As a first gen Colombian in LA, and my mother being born in Colombia, we get very excited when we see a new Colombian spot open up. We came for an early dinner tonight to try it out. When we first placed our order, They did not have anything available from the menu, when we asked for the soup, arepa con queso, almojabana they said they ran out and did not have any. (Any Colombian knows how easy it is to whip up some fresh arepas con queso). The menu is small to being with so it left limited options. We ordered the empanadas, buñuelos, hotdog, and the picada. The food was beyond disappointing. Everything was clearly frozen and there was nothing fresh. Even the ají tasted stale. The empanadas have a stamp on them stating "pollo" and nothing looks like the photos they are advertising. Everything was chewy and not at all a representation of what Colombian food looks like or tastes like. My hope is that they remedy this moving forward as having a good Colombian restaurant close by would be a highlight for us. read more

I usually trust good reviews when I visit a place, but after two terrible experiences at Colombia Parce, I feel like people need to know the truth. The first time, we ordered a "picada" and they didn't serve everything that the menu promised. They said they would give us a discount but still overcharged us. We didn't complain, thinking maybe it was a one-time mistake. Today, we came back, and it was even worse. I ordered an arepa, and after waiting over an hour, when it finally arrived, the staff handed it to me with an incredibly rude attitude, almost like they were doing us a favor by even serving the food. I also saw my friend get insulted just for pointing out missing ingredients in her order. It was clear they had no interest in fixing anything -- just excuses and bad attitude. Later on, when my friend was still upset, some customers who had just arrived approached us to ask if the food was good, As she shared her experience, the person working there came outside and insulted her, demanding to know what she was saying about the restaurant. She calmly responded, "I'm only telling the truth about what happened to me." The staff didn't care and continued being rude and disrespectful. We all left extremely disappointed. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. This isn't Colombia, this is America, and here you can't treat customers like that. Be aware before you waste your time and money. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon and had the mazorcada for the first time. Very delicious and friendly staff.

Last weekend, I visited for the first time. Initially, I intended to order Mazorca Desgranada, but I ended up choosing ajiaco instead. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The rice was absolutely delicious, and the empanadas and ají were also very tasty. The lulo juice was good, though I wish it had been more concentrated. Operating a typical Colombian restaurant abroad is quite a challenge, but the chef, who is a Colombian woman, is doing a fantastic job. I plan to return to try the Mazorca desgranada. read more
