Calamari and macaroni balls
Gifty B.

After years of hearing about this place and having it on my list as a place to go, I FINALLY made it happen and was glad I finally went. It was a milestone birthday for my husband and we didn't feel like driving far so I was definitely glad that there was somewhere close to go to that was nice. We went on a Wednesday night and reservations were easy to get. Going in feels like a restaurant in Italy and I love Italy so this felt right at home for me. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari because I'd read a lot about it and it didn't disappoint. The chef also added some macaroni balls for us to try which were nice and creamy and not dry. Yay! To start, they brought us some bread and olive tapenade - yum, very nice way to start the meal. I could have been done with just this. My husband ordered a Screwdriver from the menu to drink but they couldn't make it, boo. For dinner, my husband ordered the tomahawk to celebrate his birthday. Go husband!!! The tomahawk was nicely sliced at the table and came with some really good mashed potatoes and veggies. He very much enjoyed it and enjoyed leftovers the next day also. I couldn't decide between the cioppino and the lobster ravioli so I got both. Didn't realize the cioppino was going to be so big. The flavor was a bit too sweet for me but the waiter brought us some peppers and that made an incredible difference. The lobster ravioli was just ok that day. I took it home and ate it the 2nd day and it was delicious the next day. For dessert, my husband ordered the Creme brûlée cheesecake and they also gave him a piece of carrot cake. This allowed him to finish his night very divinely. All in all, a great experience. I'd like to try some other things on the menu. Hopefully, next time my son is in town so he can experience it with us. Our waiter was nice and got us what we needed for the most part. Enjoyable experience and definitely nice to have close to home.

Great birthday venue this year. We got in at 5pm and were seated just about anywhere- they open at 5pm We had a nice table with bread and a spread that had olive oil in it. It was different and tasty. They had a lot of alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic beverages also. They had a bar and some outdoor seating. We had the wedge salad chopped up and we shared it. It was delicious and had a great amount of dressing mixed into it. Our meal was Spaggi Spaghetti and Salmon - which came with mashed potatoes (no gravy or sauce), And steamed veggies, which were cooked well. The Salmon had a glazed sauce and was delicious and excellently cooked and was a good portion. The spaghetti had a light marinara sauce with a lot of tomatoes It was good, perhaps the marinara could have been a bit more thicker and seasoned. Otherwise, the pasta was cooked well and firm. I had a table water and wifey had a white wine Rose. Our meal was pleasant and my wife received a small Strawberry shortcake dessert as a complimentary birthday treat, which was a great touch. We would return here, and you all should visit when you are in the area. Lastly, the price set was average $20-40 a dish, which was decent. Nice service and a clean environment. They also had large paintings hanging on the walls, which were pretty.

Amazing restaurant! We were a group of 10 celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and the staff made it a memorable experience. They were super attentive and so kind. It was our first time going and all the food we ordered was absolutely delicious and the portions were great. Our entire group was very happy with their meals and service. Would absolutely come back & recommend to others!

I cannot recommend Spaggi's enough after our first time here of many to come. Prices are super affordable for what you get & even though we were full we had to make space for the deserts they offer. Scott was our waiter tonight and he had the entire menu memorized along with specials which was pretty impressive alongside Ana the event coordinator that made us sure of who to go for needing vendor services. Everything was so amazing, extremely flavorful and different dishes from one another.

If you are looking for an exceptional fine dining experience in Upland, look no further than Spaggi's. We chose this gem to celebrate a birthday, and it exceeded every expectation--it was truly a night to remember. The Ambiance: From the moment we walked in, it's a wonderfully romantic and comfortable fine-dining experience. * Appetizers: We started with the Crab Cakes and the Wagyu Beef Ravioli (pictured). The crab cakes were perfectly seared and flavorful, served over a bed of fresh greens and house-made tartar. * The Main Event: We ordered the popular Beef Wellington (pictured), and it was magnificent. *Not on menu, but a special for the night. * Dessert: We ended the night with a spectacular cheesecake /crème brûlée dessert (pictured), perfectly plated with a fresh strawberry and whipped cream. Great way you top the night with some espresso. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, ensuring our entire evening flowed smoothly without ever feeling rushed. It truly elevated the "fine dining" aspect of the night. If you are celebrating a special occasion, or just looking for a superb, quiet, and elegant meal with excellent food and service, Spaggi's is the place. Go! You won't be disappointed.

Came here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Reservation highly recommended for large group. The restaurant is so elegant and nice inside. Great place to celebrate a birthday or if you are going on a date. The staffs were so nice and friendly. Service was top notch. They have breads on the house with housemade olive spread. Was so good. We ordered the followings: - Scampi Al Limone (Shrimp) - Chilean Sea Bass - Linguini Vongole (Clam) - Ravioli Di Aragosta (Lobster) - Fettuccini Alfredo with a side of mushrooms and peas All were very good. We enjoyed our dishes. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

This review is years overdue! Spaggi's is a family favorite, and has been a beautiful experience for so many special meals, celebrations, and memories. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but do not be fooled by the shopping center. As soon as you walk through the doors, you are transported to one of the finest dining experiences in our area and truly unparalleled customer service. The heirloom beat and tomato salad is a must-have - we literally order it every single time. We've never had bad meal, but especially love the rotating fresh pastas. The lobster ravioli is rich but delicious. Try to save room for dessert - it's always a yummy selection. Thank you Chef Henry and Anna for years of incredible meals!

Wow! Service was great. Upon arrival me and my party were a bit early, but we were seated at a timely manner. The seating outside was cute. The food was heavenly. I've had lobster ravioli before, but these were absolutely delicious. One of the best I've ever had. Love that cream sauce. Cioppino was tasty and definitely memorable. Although the tapenade wasn't featured in my post, it was incredible.

Visited Spaggi's back in August of 2024 and I was surprised to see that the location was in basically a strip mall, but the atmosphere inside made it seem like you walked into a completely different place than where you came from. Our server was really nice and attentive and was patient to share with us his recommendations. Table got the linguini pesto pomodoro and the braised short rib. I've never had anything quite like the linguini because my palate had been previously limited to pesto and tomato sauce separately up until now but it complemented each other so well. The richness of the pesto mixed with the acidic tomato made a surprising tasty combination. The short rib was made well! Very simple but in a way that I knew that it wasn't going to fail me when I first saw it. This might sound silly but the star of the table that wowed me was the olive tapenade (not pictured) and how good it went with the bread. Throughout the meal I couldn't help but keep going back to it!

Osso Buco

Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had a pleasant experience. It was a bit odd when we walked in as we stood near the entrance for about 10 minutes (was even passed by who I think was a hostess coming on shift) before we were acknowledged. Once we were seated for our reservation our server and the food redeemed our decision to dine here. The vibe is more intimate and a bit fancy with white table cloth. Good spot for a date night or a special occasion. Their osso buco was tender and delicious. Our kids enjoyed the accompanying pasta and the calamari appetizer we ordered. We'll be back to try some of the other dishes. They got pretty busy while we were there so definitely suggest making reservations in advance.

This is my very first time coming here and I was so pleased that the staff were so nice and attentive. I was very surprised and excited to get a chef complementary pasta dish and it was soo yummy! I got the pesto pasta and it was full of flavor. All in all I will be coming back for date night

The taste was amazing and the portion was perfect. I was really happy with my dish. There are no prices listed for the wine, and I ordered the Austin Hope, which was smooth and went great with my dinner. That was a $110 bottle, FYI I learned that when I got the check lol. But honestly, it was very good! I also had the tiramisu, which unfortunately had way too much cocoa powder on it. It was drenched in it. That was a little disappointing because I was really looking forward to the tiramisu. The atmosphere was also louder than I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a quiet, chill vibe, but it's definitely more vibrant and loud. It's a great location and I would go back. Just a few cons that I noticed.
