This place is top notch. The food and beer are quite tasty. The venue is super hip and the staff is always so friendly.

Loved this spot! The service was excellent and we like the variety of beers. The sour was a favorite at our first visit. The indoor space is beautiful, open and clean. We also love that it is dog friendly inside and outside! The outdoor space looked nice too. While they don't serve food, they offer bar snacks (pretzels, cookies) at checkout and they have a food truck outdoors. The food truck had tasty wings and tacos!

Spacecat Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in Norwalk, Connecticut in October 2021. It was founded by business partners James Bloom and Jeff Dunn. The two previously worked together at Remedy Partners: a Norwalk-based healthcare tech company. After a number of years, they both grew tired of working in an office setting. Dunn had experimented with homebrewing for a number of years, so he and Bloom gravitated toward the idea of opening a brewery. After some time searching for a location, the partners found their 4,800-square-foot home inside the old J. & J. textiles mill building. To handle the brewery operations, Bloom and Dunn hired Roger Krackow: an army veteran who spent eight years as a head brewer for Stratford-based Two Roads Brewing Company. My family and I recently visited Spacecat while we were in Norwalk for the day. The taproom was pretty large and I absolutely loved the industrial design theme with all of the Edison lightbulbs. I was really hoping to run into Roger Krackow because I worked as a barback at Two Roads several years ago when he was one of the brewers there, but sadly he wasn't there at the time of my visit. After grabbing a table, I ordered a taster flight that consisted of "Cosmic Candy: Orange, Peach, and Mango" (Fruited Gose), "Hefe" (Hefeweizen), "Orion" (New England IPA), and "Lion's Heart" (Double New England IPA). I really enjoyed every beer that I sampled! I didn't have the highest of hopes because Norwalk has had a string of disappointing breweries come and go within the last decade. I should have had more faith in Mr. Krackow, who has continued to brew great beers since his tenure at Two Roads. I look forward to returning!

We love coming here. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. The vibes are great, an old but modern factory building. There's lots of options of beer, and they also have cocktails. There's almost always a food truck, I've never been there when there wasn't one. The beer tenders and managers are friendly and they pour beers very quick! Your never waiting long for a beer. Little parking lot but there's also street parking. Tree cat is a west coast IPA that is really incredible, but I recommend all their beers!

Stopped here on a Saturday around 12:30, not long after they opened, so we could make sure to get a table outside. It was a beautiful fall day but there were plenty of picnic tables available at that time. Within an hour it got full outside, but there was still an open large area inside if you go later. Really friendly staff inside at the bar, we all got flights and I've been to breweries that seem frustrated when they have to make multiple flights, that was not our experience here. They have a lot of rotating beers on the menu- we tried the harvest moon and pumpkin, and a few of the IPAs or sours. I also loved how easy it was to find information on their website. They don't serve food so we brought sandwiches, but while we were there a few food trucks did pull up so other people had food options. I do just recommend more signage outside! As a first time customer it was a little difficult to find the entrance and we parked at a side lot then walked to find the main lot/entrance. Will definitely be back!

Immediately you are greeted by the friendly staff who are so accommodating with letting you try samples of their brews before purchasing. We got a 4 pack to go and loved it. I love how there is complimentary popcorn and how there's a fun viewing of the brewery process open for public to see. My favorite aspect of this brewery had to be their outdoor seating. I loved how cozy and homey it felt almost like you were hanging out in someone's backyard. Next time I am in the area- Little House will be our first stop for sure!

Probably because I didn't have much bookmarked for a planned trip for stops in Connecticut but an opportunity did arise to try a couple of their beers and so I pursued it in which I was quite impressed! I had their Premium which I really enjoyed! It was a Helles Lager which I normally really enjoy. This one was exceptional as it had an excellent flavor profile. It was clean, crisp and some sweetness at work. It was smooth and very easy to have more than one during a single seating. The other beer I liked just as much practically. This was a milk stout called Gimmie The Gorbage (no, I didn't misspell the beer title this time) and it too was quite good. A very smooth beer in which you will find chocolate, coffee, cocoa and molasses flavors that make contact with your tastebuds. Also a very enjoyable beer! A very good beer experience this was and grateful for the opportunity that came along on a brewery that wasn't on my list in which it would have been something I really would have missed out on.

We came right before opening and waited in the car for the doors to open. Upon entering there were several people doing the same thing which speaks volumes for this place. It got busy right away and there was some type of event going on in the back too. Everyone was there to enjoy their beers and boy were they enjoyable. The girl who waited on us was very nice and honest as she gave my gf her brand new Chanel sunglasses she had left on the counter earlier when we were ordering. Thank you! This place has chill brewery vibes as you can see their production area and it's pretty spacey and I love how they are in an old post office building. They have a lot of board games to play while enjoying your beers and they also sell some merch. We ordered a flight: - Resting Grinch Face, Winter Warmer 5/5 - Terrible Twos Anniversary, Imperial Hazy IPA 5/5 - Kite and Key, Hazy IPA 5/5 - BOO-Yah, American Porter 5/5 Every beer was tasty af!!! I love this place and I look forward to my next visit. Thanks again for everything :) Sláinte

On a Sunday night, we were surprised to see so many people enjoying the evening. This place is popular with folks enjoying time with their family and friends and it even looked like a couple of small celebrations were taking place, which made our hearts happy. We enjoyed a flight and chose the Rustle dunkel, Tightrope schwarzbier, Resting Grinch face winter warmer, and the Boo-Yah porter. Loved them all and they have much more on tap, including hard seltzers as gluten-free options. Play a board game, watch sports on their TV, bring your own food, shoot some darts, and do a toast to what a wonderful year 2024 has been!
