The most beautiful color for an IPA
Jackie O.

Love this spot. It gives Cape Cod vibes on the coast of CT--truly quintessential New England. It's majorly clean with plenty of seating inside and out. Beer options are plentiful and the IPAs (my favorite) were phenomenal and may be one of the best I've tried in a long time. They have the beautiful color down-- I knew before tasting it was going to be lovely. The food menu is plentiful and there are plenty of options for all tastes. This is the perfect stop after the beach or really any time. I'll be back again and again and can't wait to come here in the warmer months.

Seeking a different brewery to try and to enjoy the day. Needed a stress reliever today. Coastline brewery was perfect. They we're celebrating their one year anniversary. They offered more iPAs making it difficult for me to decide since I'm not an IPA fan. They had three stouts and of course I went directly to the 10%. Coffee stout with bourbon. That was my side trial, it couldn't be included in the flight. For the flight we tried a black cherry seltzer ( soooo freaking good and I'm not a seltzer drinker), the sailor delight, a cider-raspberry lime- great summer drink, Beach Bum Amber - also very good and the SOS stout- coffee stout with maple- not too bad. The nauti pretzel was ordered last minute when the sweet bartender informed us the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes, and it was well worth ordering. Coastline is situated on route one in Westbrook. You'd think it would be on the river or shore, but no, route one, though you wouldn't know that's where you were. High fences block out the traffic and you get a nice quiet peaceful place to enjoy a beverage and a snack. Way to go coastal. Enjoyed our selection and your company!!

Very close to five stars but I didn't get a chance to try more than one beer and more food. It was my first time and I look forward to coming back. The Fall Overboard beer was light and refreshing. And my company enjoyed the Shore Shore citra hood IPA. We have the jumbo pretzel and it was indeed jumbo. On top of that it was warm, fresh and perfectly salted. Definitely hit the spot. The bartenders were friendly and light hearted. It was a smaller in door seating section but clean with a nautical "coastline" theme, during warmer months they have a garage door that opens to seating outside. We happened to be there for trivia night which is Wednesday's at 6:30 (or 6 I can't remember). A brand new brewery that I'm excited that joined the area, definitely going to be a fun spot this summer.

Such a cute little establishment. Stopped in for a few flights to try something new. A Saturday night, live entertainment, fantastic! The beer, cider, and seltzer were all spot on! First brewery I've been to that I enjoyed all the beers on the flight. Come on in and enjoy a new (ish) brewery with great options. Also, bring your own snacks! The staff was very helpfully, knowledgeable and kind. Something you don't see everyday!

What a great place for a rainy afternoon! We loved the may day pizza and drinks were perfect! Even our little enjoyed the games available and the booths are perfect for families!

Maple donut stout and high c's sour

We've been wanting to try this spot all summer and I'm so glad we finally did! Coastline Brewing Company has a great variety of beer and an amazing atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of seating to choose from. We opted to sit outside at a shaded picnic table with our dog but there was also great seating indoors! My husband had the maple donut stout which was delicious- the perfect mix of coffee and maple glaze. I opted for the high c's sour which was so yummy! I love sours and this was the perfect amount of sour with a cherry lime flavor. We definitely want to try their flights next time! There's no food menu but you have the option to bring in your own. I know they also have food trucks on occasion. All in all a great spot that we'll definitely be frequenting in the future!!

Immediately you are greeted by the friendly staff who are so accommodating with letting you try samples of their brews before purchasing. We got a 4 pack to go and loved it. I love how there is complimentary popcorn and how there's a fun viewing of the brewery process open for public to see. My favorite aspect of this brewery had to be their outdoor seating. I loved how cozy and homey it felt almost like you were hanging out in someone's backyard. Next time I am in the area- Little House will be our first stop for sure!

Probably because I didn't have much bookmarked for a planned trip for stops in Connecticut but an opportunity did arise to try a couple of their beers and so I pursued it in which I was quite impressed! I had their Premium which I really enjoyed! It was a Helles Lager which I normally really enjoy. This one was exceptional as it had an excellent flavor profile. It was clean, crisp and some sweetness at work. It was smooth and very easy to have more than one during a single seating. The other beer I liked just as much practically. This was a milk stout called Gimmie The Gorbage (no, I didn't misspell the beer title this time) and it too was quite good. A very smooth beer in which you will find chocolate, coffee, cocoa and molasses flavors that make contact with your tastebuds. Also a very enjoyable beer! A very good beer experience this was and grateful for the opportunity that came along on a brewery that wasn't on my list in which it would have been something I really would have missed out on.

I'm a sucker for historic architecture so this is awesome. They brew their beers in house and also offer beers from other places. There also have wine and seltzers for the non beer lovers. I am a fan of sours so I had one of their sour beers (forgot the name) it was okay, it was extra sour, too sour. My husband enjoyed their IPAs. Also, we had some house made potato chips and a hot dog. Those were decent; I just wished they offered a dip for those chips! Hummus or something like that? We sat outside on a balmy June day. They had a few tables and our server was great. It's a nice spot to people watch too. Inside was large and spacious. There was a long line to the restrooms though, popular place. Overall, a cool space for some drinks and snacks; I definitely would go back and try out more food and beers.

Nothing out of this world but good enough to have a few pours before heading over to mystic pizza. Service was prompt and efficient, but not overly friendly. Where we unfortunately went wrong was eating here. Cheap fry oils and sloppy sandos that give bar food a bad reputation. I'm not sure why I expected more, but it fell short on freshness, flavor and creativity especially given today's modern brewpub scene. With a plethora of great restaurants in the area, next time I'd probably have drinks here then head to dinner elsewhere.

After our drinks were dropped off, our server never checked back in to update us on the delay. However she did check in after we got our food.
