Great location off exit 64 of I-95 and near Rt 1. Decorated in seaside theme and the brews are named appropriately. We were fortunate to meet Phil who is one of the owners and very friendly. Always good to know the back story. I had the nitro stout and tried the caramel stout for dessert . Both were delicious. The caramel was sweet. Also had the white shrimp and sundried tomato pizza. Love this spot. It gives Cape Cod vibes on the coast of CT--truly quintessential New England. It's majorly clean with plenty of seating inside and out. Beer options are plentiful and the IPAs (my favorite) were phenomenal and may be one of the best I've tried in a long time. They have the beautiful color down-- I knew before tasting it was going to be lovely. The food menu is plentiful and there are plenty of options for all tastes. This is the perfect stop after the beach or really any time. I'll be back again and again and can't wait to come here in the warmer months. read more

Stopped in with family on a Saturday during a Clinton, Westbrook, Old Saybrook "coastline" food and drink tour. FOOD; Food came out within 10 minutes, possibly because it was only about 25% full of patrons? Nachos were a little dry and the pulled pork topping had no flavor, regardless, they were nearly finished by a family member due to hunger! The chicken tenders and tater tots were also nothing great but filled the hunger need. The 12" personal size pizzas were much better with good red sauce and a nice slightly charred crust. BEER; Did not go for a flight, but dove right into one of their signature beers "Shore Shore" and was extremely happy, What a great beer!!! picked up a 4-pack on my way out. SERVICE: there was only one server available who was also tending bar, very friendly and seemed to have a good handle on things. AMBIANCE: Small main room with good brewery decor, Booth tables are very low and hard to eat from, also a good selection of Merch. Hopefully some fine tuning in the near future with their food quality, but a definite recommendation, especially during warmer weather!!! read more

Seeking a different brewery to try and to enjoy the day. Needed a stress reliever today. Coastline brewery was perfect. They we're celebrating their one year anniversary. They offered more iPAs making it difficult for me to decide since I'm not an IPA fan. They had three stouts and of course I went directly to the 10%. Coffee stout with bourbon. That was my side trial, it couldn't be included in the flight. For the flight we tried a black cherry seltzer ( soooo freaking good and I'm not a seltzer drinker), the sailor delight, a cider-raspberry lime- great summer drink, Beach Bum Amber - also very good and the SOS stout- coffee stout with maple- not too bad. The nauti pretzel was ordered last minute when the sweet bartender informed us the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes, and it was well worth ordering. Coastline is situated on route one in Westbrook. You'd think it would be on the river or shore, but no, route one, though you wouldn't know that's where you were. High fences block out the traffic and you get a nice quiet peaceful place to enjoy a beverage and a snack. Way to go coastal. Enjoyed our selection and your company!! read more

Very close to five stars but I didn't get a chance to try more than one beer and more food. It was my first time and I look forward to coming back. The Fall Overboard beer was light and refreshing. And my company enjoyed the Shore Shore citra hood IPA. We have the jumbo pretzel and it was indeed jumbo. On top of that it was warm, fresh and perfectly salted. Definitely hit the spot. The bartenders were friendly and light hearted. It was a smaller in door seating section but clean with a nautical "coastline" theme, during warmer months they have a garage door that opens to seating outside. We happened to be there for trivia night which is Wednesday's at 6:30 (or 6 I can't remember). A brand new brewery that I'm excited that joined the area, definitely going to be a fun spot this summer. read more

We've been wanting to try this spot all summer and I'm so glad we finally did! Coastline Brewing Company has a great variety of beer and an amazing atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was plenty of seating to choose from. We opted to sit outside at a shaded picnic table with our dog but there was also great seating indoors! My husband had the maple donut stout which was delicious- the perfect mix of coffee and maple glaze. I opted for the high c's sour which was so yummy! I love sours and this was the perfect amount of sour with a cherry lime flavor. We definitely want to try their flights next time! There's no food menu but you have the option to bring in your own. I know they also have food trucks on occasion. All in all a great spot that we'll definitely be frequenting in the future!! read more

Been there twice. The first time I didn't like the beer that I ordered. Went back for a second try. The place smelled of some sort of commercial cleaner or disinfectant. To my surprise, the beer had a hint of the same cleaner. I had two swallows and left the rest behind. Never again. read more

Had our jack and Jill baby shower (about 50 people) at Coastline last weekend and could not have been happier with how it turned out. Everyone loved the space, it was a gorgeous day, and the service was awesome. I worked closely with Jay leading up to the event and he was super responsive and helpful coordinating everything. We did bring in outside food because we booked our event before they had installed their pizza oven so can't speak to the food but I can't wait to come back once the baby comes and enjoy a beer and try out some pizza. This place is amazing! It has such great decor and you can't help but feel more relaxed when you are there. The brewery is incredibly clean and has an incredible variety of high quality beers, seltzers, and ciders. The food menu is perfect and compliments the beers very well. The pizzas are fantastic and they even have gluten free crusts available. I have been to Coastline several times and I'm always impressed with the service, food, and drinks. Love love love my neighborhood brewery. The owners put so much thought and money into the design and operation of Coastline. I appreciate the variety of drinks they offer-beer, seltzers, and even wine- and love the aesthetic of the venue. Recently held a small gathering here and loved that I could order delivery, bring in my own food, and encourage friends to bring their dogs/well behaved children. They've greatly expanded their beer offerings so if you went last summer and were disappointed, try again! We were impressed by the expansion and eager to go back. read more

Love this brewery! By far one of the best in CT. It's on a busy road, but there is a great outdoor space (dogs are welcome outside), lots of tables and fire pits. Inside is great too. Lots of space, games, and the game was on. Owner was super nice and engaging. The beers were awesome. The marzen with pumpkin was a too 5 pumpkin all time. The donut stout had a ton of maple flavor. All the others were creative and had tons of flavor. It's worth grabbing some food and spending some time here, the beers are great. read more

I love this place! The beer is phenomenal, the staff is friendly and they're always wearing a smile. Karaoke night is my favorite!! The bathrooms are so clean, you can eat off the floor, I'm not kidding. I love the beach decor. There are games to play. They welcome children. I hear they're getting food soon too. My only complaint would be the 4 pack cans to go at $20.00 is waaaaay too high. I can pick up a 4 pack of just about anything, in a store, from $11.99 to $15.99. Gotta get that price down to something more reasonable. I'd keep going back and recommending it to my friends. read more
