a beer being poured into a glass

If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy a cold craft beer this is it. No frills, great music, great staff and service. You need to get down here asap!

Stopped by for 1st time. Overall a small spot with seating for about 15, and standing room for probably another 25. Overall generally nice & clean if a bit lacking in "character" When I went there were 8 on tap - and so tested out a flight. Details below. However I would say this place has a great diverse selection which reflects the brewmasters willingness to experiment and creat drinkable brews. You can go wrong to stop in and give the a shot! Dixie Chicken (pale ale) quite nice. Liked the smoke and chili pepper combination that stayed in my throat for a while. Revolution IPA. Ok pretty solid. Nothing unique or remarkable. Mysterious Ways. Belgian Strong. Not my cup of tea and not easy drinking. Needs work. Big Me. 2xIPA. Smells beautiful before you even taste a drop. Mosaic, Centennial and cascade hops. A tad bitter for IPA newbies but for hardcore IPA folks it's easy drinking. Brown Eyed- Girl. Very solid brown ale. Indicative of the brown ale style. You can't go wrong. Twist & Stout (cask version) so he cask style of this was super smooth, no carbonation, and allowed you to experience the flavor. I didn't have the regular version but this was promising. Little Darlin. Super citrus hops. Very light. Apparently one of their tops pours. Doesn't hang on the tongue much. Just ok, but easy drinking. Food/Snacks: Bags of chips, nuts, beef jerky. Suggestion: go to Costco get a big bucket of pub chips and put 'em out. Giving folks free salt might amp up drinks...and it just feels right! Otherwise there must be an aspiring chef (or the meat truck guy?) eager to partner with you on easy items that are microwaveable! (There's no kitchen to speak of)

"Good beer brings people together. Great breweries make you want to stay."…read more We came to Two Roads Brewing for a UConn alumni basketball watch party, and it turned out to be a really fun place to catch a game. The biggest highlight was easily the beer selection. The variety was impressive, with a wide range of styles that made it easy for everyone in our group to find something they enjoyed. Whether you prefer something light and crisp or something a little more bold, they seem to have a beer that fits the mood. Food was honestly the weaker part of the experience. It was fine and did the job, but it was not particularly memorable. Nothing was bad, it just did not stand out compared to how strong the drink program is. Service was excellent. The staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout the event. Even with a busy crowd watching the game, they stayed friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience feel welcoming. The ambiance is where Two Roads really shines. The brewery space is large, lively, and perfect for group gatherings. Watching a game there with a room full of fans creates a great energy, and the open brewery atmosphere gives the place a fun and social feel. Four stars for a brewery that delivers great beer, great service, and a lively place to watch a game, even if the food is not the main attraction.

The bartenders were really knowledgeable and explained every beer we asked about and Jason in Area 2 told us all about how they make their Whiskey it was a really cool process made us appreciate the drink more. Will definitely be back I love the quiet area in the tasting room and all the games they have!

To eat we tried alla vodka apizza with ricotta and basil, buttermilk brined chicken dippers, and sidewinder fries. All the food was hot and fresh. The chicken was perfectly crisp and juicy. We got two shareables and two handhelds - nachos, not-zarella, stratcity cheesesteak, sidewinder fries and sausage and peppers. The shareables were ok. The not-zarella and sidewinder fries had interesting sauces that were not to my taste. I had the cheesesteak but there was a lot of liquid in the sandwich which caused it to fall apart from what seemed to be from the premade and overcooked onions and peppers. I couldn't finish the sandwich because of the liquid and overcooked onions and peppers. While the food wasn't the greatest, the drinks and the service was good and timely. We have come here previously for takeout and the service was great so we planned and came back this time. Another benefit is that they have a nice outdoor space.

If you live anywhere near Milford and haven't been to Tribus yet, congratulations--you've been…read morewasting your weekends. This place is everything you want in a brewery and nothing you don't. First off, the beer: it's stupidly good. Like, annoyingly good. The kind of good where you go in thinking, "I'll just try one" and then three flights later you're googling if it's socially acceptable to move into a brewery. Their IPAs actually taste different from one another (shocking, I know), the stouts don't drink like liquid bread, and even the lighter stuff has actual flavor. It's witchcraft, and I'm here for it. The vibe? Top tier. Inside feels like hanging out in your cool friend's garage--if your cool friend also had a professional brewing setup and knew what the hell they were doing. Outside, the beer garden is basically Milford's adult playground. Add in food trucks and you've got yourself the perfect Saturday. The staff? Friendly, quick, and actually seem like they enjoy being there. Do you know how rare that is? I've been to breweries where the bartender looked like I asked them to solve long division just by ordering a pint. Not here. At Tribus, they get it right. Bottom line: If you're looking for a place where the beer slaps, the vibe's relaxed, and you won't get ignored like a ghost at a bad Mexican restaurant (ask me how I know), Tribus is it. 11/10, would recommend, and will absolutely keep coming back until they name a beer after me.

The pizza with peppers, onions, and fried chicken was a standout. The fried cauliflower was surprisingly delicious (and that's coming from someone who normally isn't a fan). The cheese fries, made with beer cheese, were flavorful, and the fried mozzarella bites are a must if you're in the mood for something classic. The burger was okay. It came out a bit dry, and I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. The bun also wasn't toasted, which would have made a big difference. One of the coolest parts about this place is the setup. There are multiple rooms, including a main dining area with a live band at night, an indoor patio with a big screen for games, and even a separate dance room with a DJ. They also offer $50 flash tattoos and have a tarot reader on certain weekends, which adds a really unique touch to the overall experience.

Ordered a couple of the hot dog specials, a smash burger, wings, and pretzel sticks. The hot dogs, while creative, seemed to be a bit overcooked, possibly boiled and then left in a warmer for too long? The hot dogs themselves were a little discolored and more bland than we were expecting, and the pizza dough seemed a bit too large to serve as a bun for one special. Everything else was good for food, especially the smash burger and fries. My husband enjoyed his beers, and we thought the vibe was great. Appreciated the many different seating areas, and I'd love to sit in the beer garden with the train going by. Definitely a nice spot to watch the game or hang with friends.

The prices were on par for similar establishments - which is a little high across the board in this state, but that's just how it is. There is really only one problem here, and it's the seating. While the wrought iron chairs may have been an aesthetic decision that match the rustic design, they are really, REALLY uncomfortable! We were fortunate enough to have chairs that had a cushion on them (which most of them didn't appear to have), but even with the cushions, sitting in those chairs for only a short time was uncomfortable. Gotta say we would have stayed a lot longer and ordered several more rounds of drinks, but our backs and butts just couldn't take another second on those hard metal chairs. Ultimately, I'd give this place 4, probably even 5 stars if new comfortable chairs were added. Hopefully management will take this suggestion into consideration in the future.

Extremely festive with tasteful Christmas decorations. We decided to sit at the bar to get a better feel. Caley first welcomed us. Very professional and friendly. We also had the privilege of meeting Brittany (one of owners) and Mike (bartender). All were very helpful In recommending other restaurants to try and just genuine conversation. The menu is on the smaller size, but has great offerings and is suitable for the space the building holds. Our order: -We took advantage of the half off wings special for Sundays. The wings were a good size and we enjoyed the blue cheese. -Brussel sprouts: piping hot! And a HUGE portion size. These are a saucier style (loved the maple flavor) as opposed to crispy. Definitely recommend. -Buffalo Cauliflower: Just the right amount of kick and perfectly roasted. We loved the ranch dipping sauce. Also definitely recommend. -We had to try the O.G. Chicken sandwich as it appears to be the menu staple. The edges could have used some more sauce, but the middle bites of the sandwich were juicy! Loved the pickles, bacon, ranch, and American cheese flavor combo. -Side of onion rings, was served with honey mustard. Not overly greasy, had great flavor. Service was great, we loved the music but wish we could have heard more commentating from the basketball games. We were frustrated at times with the use of their plastic utensils... we often were fighting with our veggies as they slid off of our forks, but understand how the plastic utensils aligns with their popular food truck. We left feeling VERY full and took some wings to go. There were quite a few parties for a Sunday night, and their take out business seemed steady. Liberty Rock Tavern appears to be a hidden gem of a sports bar in the Milford area. We definitely plan to go back!
