Fresh out of the airport and to our Airbnb, many places weren't open but this one was so we gave it a try. Was pretty empty when we arrived but shortly after large tour rush came in and occupied the entire back area. Very large space. The pasta was okay, not something I'd return for necessarily. But if looking for a quick bite and drink near attractions, this could be an option.

Really nice restaurant. It seems to be near a big church but there is still street parking up the road if you are renting a car. Service is a bit slow but only one guy was on the floor when I arrived however he was super nice. I order bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The bread I am still dreaming about the taste it was so good. For my meal I took a suggestion and got the carbonara with salmon. The salmon was so salty I thought it was smoked at first. The food wasn't bad just not something I would put on my list again the next time I'm in Rome.

I really liked this place. I thought it had a nice interior and that the staff was friendly and catered to our American early dining habits. We went in at around 5 or 6 and there was only a couple and one other person in the restaurant with us. They had english menus and the food came out promptly. My friend had the spaghetti carbonara and I had the calzone. The carbonara looked delicious and I liked my calzone very much. It was freshly baked and stuffed with mozzarella and ham. However I did notice that there was no tomato sauce, but I'm assuming it was supposed to be like that. Another friend who is vegetarian and gluten free or elders the caprese salad and a side of fries. The mozarella was cut thick as were the tomatoes. She enjoyed her meal as well. All in all I liked this place a lot and would come back if I had the chance.

A vegetarian option other than spaghetti? I'll take it!

Overall my impressions of authentic Italian cruise are very, very disappointing. The American versions are far superior. I will attribute part of this to my unwillingness to pay outrageous prices to eat pasta. Spaccio Pasta was better then most, but not what I had in mind when flying around the world for authentic cuisine. We stayed at an apartment nearby, and this was recommended to us by the owner, a local. In Rome they seem to know what spices are and put them to some use, although sparingly. So a basic pasta dish has some flavor and zest but is unwilling to embrace the bold and daring of a skilled chef. The seating is nice so there is room to stretch and relax after a day of touring. We drank and then drank some more of that famous Italian wine, working our way thorough more then a few bottles before ordering. The staff was happy to keep us seated as the restaurant filled up, came alive and became quite lively. Three stars is as high as I would go here. But it is important to note that part of that cap is from Italy not just this restaurant. Would I eat here again? Yes, if I could not find a better alternative that was fairly priced.

Nice for something earlier in the day. Good pizza. Pasta dishes are very big but didn't taste. The escarole was really tasty.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
