This place has always been my go to spa in Chicago. Today, Mike gave the most amazing massage. Where have you been all my life!!?? The showers afterwards were amazing! Steam anyone?? Ughhh... I didn't want to leave. Love love love this place!

Years ago my mother and I owned a full service day spa. Surprisingly I no longer make time for massages despite all the benefits I know they bring. Fortunately, I received a spa visit as a birthday gift. My experience at Spa Space may make me get back into the flow. There's a tranquil ambiance upon entering that set the tone for a relaxing experience. The staff was friendly despite me being the last guest before closing. The changing room was clean and had a nice decor. The masseuse was professional and maximized our time. She didn't waste a second during the full 60 minutes. I wish I remembered her name to give a shout out. A glass of champagne was included with my birthday package and was the perfect way to end my day. I highly recommend. Check out Groupon for deals if you're a first time customer.

This spa thought of ev-ver-ryTHING when it comes to amenities: contact solution, hair ties, flat irons, and so much more! Combination lockers, vanity mirrors, and robes/slippers are also at the leisure to start a relaxing spa day. Me and my best friend made an appointment for facials on a Saturday morning which we arrived a few minutes late to but they were accommodating with getting us prepped and started for the experience. I had no complaints about my signature facial. It was refreshing from beginning to end! Con: The space is small. I'm sure it can feel congested fairly quickly especially since the welcome walk ins. They were limited seats in the locker room but there is an attached seating lounge with water, tea, and mixed nuts.

Went here for a manicure because I got a gift card. Pricey for no chip manicure in my opinion, $45 and they automatically add 20% tip, so $54 for manicure. It's right across the street from the French Market. Metered parking or garage parking. They do not validate. The place is big. It's very relaxing when you come in and smells pleasant. The place is clean and the manager was at the front desk, who was very welcoming. They offer you water and/or tea. I got a hot chamomile with honey, very nice. The front had a lot of things for purchase. I was then taken to the back where mani and pedi are done. My technician was Ivy. She was running behind but was professional and very detailed oriented doing my nails. The mani took 30 minutes. I liked the color, let's see how long it'll last. The hand machine with the hot towel at the end was like icing on cake, it was very relaxing and great way to end the mani.

Had a lovely experience here! I got a facial, brow wax and manicure. Loved all of it. The atmosphere was relaxing, professional, clean and everything a spa should be.

I made a reservation for the signature hour massage and the moroccan scalp massage. Since they were running some kind of "special" I basically got the scalp massage for $15.00 instead of $45.00 and it included a bottle of the remaining moroccan oil for future use! I love the atmosphere here..upon entering you sit at the bar and are offered complimentary coffee, tea, or water while you fill out your form designating your health information and what parts of the body you want the massage therapist to address. Then you are given a tour of the spa space where you can secure your belongings in a locker, get a pair of sandals, a robe and relax in an attached room with magazines until your massage therapist calls you in for your treatment. Very serene...the entire experience... I had "the best" massage ever in which it was the first time that every single muscle in my back, neck, shoulders, and arms were completely at ease and very, very relaxed after the termination of the session. My massage therapist was Allegra and I would highly recommend her. During the massage there was acoustic music playing..ironically the first song was The Eagles "Hotel California" which I was surprised at..no vocals..just acoustic/classically done..I thought it was funny-but then it ventured into a "loop" of classical music which was somewhat relaxing...(that is my only complaint). The scalp massage was nice and my hair was shiny and smooth for several days after...the moroccan oil was therapeutic to the senses as well. At the end of the massage session, the therapist Allegra met me outside with a huge glass of cucumber infused water that was crisp and refreshing!!! Huge selection of spa products were available for sale..but no pressure to buy. The showers and spa space after was clean with complimentary combs, lemongrass infused shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner...plenty of clean towels....even mouthwash was available. I would go back in a heart beat and repeat!!!

We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our appointments to take advantage of a few amenities. The check-in and check-out processes did not go smoothly. The receptionists kept getting me mixed up with my sister, who was already escorted inside the wet facility. Then when we checked out, they were confused as to whom paid for our pool service food. Logistics aside, everything else about the experience was superb. The spa had everything I needed. The pool and jacuzzi were co-ed, but the womens' locker room had an herbal sauna, steam room, heated relaxation loungers, and showers. I got a 60-minute Chuan Harmony massage with Francisco. The massage was very relaxing, and aroma therapy was part of the treatment to balance your elements per Chinese medicine philosophy. Francisco was also very friendly and highly professional. I fell asleep during the massage, which was a win in my book. Lastly, the pool service food was excellent. One of my best friends got a margherita flatbread and chips with salsa and guac, and my sister got a poke bowl. I had the pleasure of picking at everything, which I all found delicious.

It ended with another very short neck massage before it was time.

I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. Also liked the tea area and trail mix which was jut enough. I do look forward to returning and trying a service in the future. Only suggestion--I truly came for the steam room and relaxation. The steam was perfect except it the equipment can be checked out as when the mist would automatically come on during the process, the machine would make a loud, boom sound. We didn't know…read morewhat to expect, but we were truly satisfied with the service we received, with one exception: the massage. After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…read more Use Caution when booking. I booked my reservation on May 23, 2026 for July 19, 2026 for my 11 year anniversary. Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

We received an email before our visit asking if we would be able to switch our 10:30 appointments to 8:00 am or 11:45 am to accommodate another guest interested in services. Since we were visiting from out of town and had other plans, we were not able to switch to these times but eventually agreed to move to 9:15 even though it was not our preferred time. The attendants upon arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The eucalyptus steam sauna was closed for repair, which was not indicated when we booked. The dry sauna and hot tub were very small. As the morning went on it got incredibly busy. There were so many people waiting for appointments that there weren't enough chairs in the relaxation room, and it was very crowded by the vanity/mirrors and showers. Our treatments we good, not spectacular for the cost, but we expected expensive treatments on a busy weekend in Chicago. We were offered complimentary enhancements for switching appointment times-a face mask or eye mask. A nice touch but not nearly worth switching our plans around for. We had separate reservations to begin with but somehow when we were asked to move our reservation times, we were put on the same reservation. As a result, I was charged for my friend's service. We each made multiple calls to the spa to try to get it corrected. After at least four attempts to get it corrected over the phone, I emailed the spa. It took 8 days from when we were at the spa for them to begin processing a refund to my card. We were very surprised by all of this, especially at such a luxury spa.
