I was honestly surprised there wasn't more to showcase the Kohler products - like a rainfall shower (with salt scrub) like at Aire. My other main disappointment was the layout - I had to go sit in the main lobby with my robe on and wait to be called for my pedicure, which felt a little awkward. I much preferred the upstairs waiting area for my massage, as it was relaxing and private. It looks like they also have a little outside terrace when the weather is nice. You start off soaking your feet in a warm soak as you get a head and arm massage. Next they massage your feet and calves, then you flip onto your stomach and they end with a deep back, neck, and shoulder massage. You are fully clothed the entire time, so I would wear shorts and a loose fitting top. There is a small basket by your massage bed that you can put your belongings in. After your massage you can tip in cash.

The massage area is a large, high ceilinged room with about 20 pallets separated by curtains. There were about a half dozen people getting massages; all male masseuses at the time I was there. The room was softly lit with low, soothing music. My masseuse put a finger to his lips indicating that it was a quiet area. He indicated that I was to lie down on the pallet. He then placed a towel loosely over my eyes and covered me with a blanket and began the massage. He worked on each foot for about 15 minutes and then I was done. Few words were spoken but we communicated with gestures as needed. I thanked him and gave him a $5 tip. He gave me a post massage bottle of water when we got to the waiting room. I put on my shoes and was out the door; feeling great. I'm giving all this description to highlight how easy and hassle free the whole process turned out to be. My feet actually feel very pleasantly relaxed and rejuvenated; if that's possible? I I'll be back!

This was our first time as customers of theirs, so we don't have much to compare it to, but the new location is beautiful. The decor is bright and welcoming, and the treatment rooms are cozy and relaxing. We mentioned a Groupon offer and they honored it in-store, but we did get upsold on a "Healing Treatment" that cost us $30 more each. It was supposed to include an 8- minute foot soak (we soaked for 4 minutes, I timed it), calming chimes to help us relax, and the Lymphatic Drainage portion of the massage. This didn't extend our massage length, but that was understood. The foot soak set-up is somewhat of a work-in-progress, if you ask me. We sat on adorable, furry stools placed precariously just inside the doorway of our treatment room. My husband rested against the wall while I sat in the middle of the room with no back support. It made more sense, to me, that we should've been sat against the opposite wall. The water was warm and felt good, but the door was open the entire time and we didn't get our full 8 minutes, which made it less than relaxing. Our full-body massages ended 4 minutes early, but I feel that this is pretty normal for this type of "spa"/ massage parlor. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Eucalyptus aromatherapy - you are able to choose a scent of your own. The hot stones were nice as well. They also used what I believe was a disposable, heated eye mask and a weighted heat pad that was laid atop our tummies. We've had lots of massages, but use of these items were new to us. We left feeling relaxed and sleepy! P.S. Parking in the area was the typical, Chicago-area nightmare, despite what I was told when I called to inquire. Since I was already sending the payment electronically, I asked if I could include the tip at the same time before my service, and they initially said yes. Then they changed their minds and insisted that I send another Zelle after the massage for the tip. I explained that if I was already sending one payment that included the tip, I wasn't going to send a second Zelle afterward. I included a $15 tip, but instead of appreciating it, I was told they have "recommended" tip amounts and that they were already giving me a discount. Let's be clear: purchasing a Groupon is not the business giving me a personal discount--it's a promotion they choose to participate in to attract customers. If they have an issue honoring Groupon pricing, then they shouldn't advertise on Groupon. A tip is a courtesy based on the service provided, not something customers should be pressured or forced to pay at a certain amount before the service has even been performed. Because I wouldn't agree to tip what they wanted, they became upset and refused to provide the service, despite the fact that I had called ahead, confirmed everything in advance, and arrived on time for my appointment. I've never experienced such unprofessional customer service. Turning away a paying customer over a tip is unacceptable. I will never return, and I would not recommend this business to anyone.
