I got a head spot at this location and I loved it. The staff were so nice and they took their time with me and my other two friends. They were very thorough. The massage was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

What an incredible experience! We had an appointment for a Saturday morning and were lucky enough to find parking right out front. It was metered parking but the cost wasn't too bad for the time we were there. I went with a friend and we were able to be in the same room together. The experience started the moment we walked in, we were greeted and were given a form to fill out for our experience with any upgrades we wanted and what we were feeling our scalp was dry, oily or balanced, then we were asked how we were feeling about the experience as we were given comfy cloud slippers to walk into the spa. Once we went to the back, they checked our scalps and recommended shampoo that would best suit our scalp. We were also gifted a hair brush that was actually super nice and detanlging. After we learned what our scalp was, we were taking into the room and given these bath towel wraps that were super comfy for us to relax in and the process started. When I tell you I was so relaxed I fell asleep, it was the most amazing feeling. How they get the soap to become a cloud relaxing feeling I'll never know. They also massaged our shoulders, arms, palm, and feet. Once the washing was done we were taken to get our hair styled. I kept it super simple as I was running errands for most of the afternoon, but I was on cloud9 leaving there. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back soon!

Scalp feeling so light and so clean. Daughter's hair was so silky smooth.

First time getting a Japanese head/hair treatment and very impressed. Booked online which required $25 deposit and subsequent email will explain further directions for cash tip, remaining balance, etc. Place is new and very clean. We were able to have our treatments in same room with my daughter and liked the personalized checklist for scalp type and massage preference. Parking is plentiful on street and big lot to left of Spa. Amy was excellent with gentleness in combing my knotty hair but very firm with neck and shoulder massage which I wanted on checklist. Tips: bring cash for tip, remove all jewelry so you can relax the whole session, be wary of self tan coming off due to massages on hand, arms, legs, shoulders and décolletage . I wished we could have washed our feet prior to getting on the bed.

Comfort and pampering on the way.

Today I went for the scalp massage treatment. I had this before at other locations and have to say this was by far the best experience! Very clean, very professional, and friendly. I highly recommend them will definitely be back. Kathy was amazing.

Fantastic! Defn must try it at least once. Not much of a lower body/ leg foot massage but the upper body and head massage was fantastic.

We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our appointments to take advantage of a few amenities. The check-in and check-out processes did not go smoothly. The receptionists kept getting me mixed up with my sister, who was already escorted inside the wet facility. Then when we checked out, they were confused as to whom paid for our pool service food. Logistics aside, everything else about the experience was superb. The spa had everything I needed. The pool and jacuzzi were co-ed, but the womens' locker room had an herbal sauna, steam room, heated relaxation loungers, and showers. I got a 60-minute Chuan Harmony massage with Francisco. The massage was very relaxing, and aroma therapy was part of the treatment to balance your elements per Chinese medicine philosophy. Francisco was also very friendly and highly professional. I fell asleep during the massage, which was a win in my book. Lastly, the pool service food was excellent. One of my best friends got a margherita flatbread and chips with salsa and guac, and my sister got a poke bowl. I had the pleasure of picking at everything, which I all found delicious.

It ended with another very short neck massage before it was time.

I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. While I did not have a service she still took the time to provide me with a thorough tour. I utilized all amenities and enjoyed myself. I truly felt relaxed. Also liked the tea area and trail mix which was jut enough. I do look forward to returning and trying a service in the future. Only suggestion--I truly came for the steam room and relaxation. The steam was perfect except it the equipment can be checked out as when the mist would automatically come on during the process, the machine would make a loud, boom sound. I was dozing off and it this frightened me and certainly messed up the relaxation vibes.

We didn't know…read morewhat to expect, but we were truly satisfied with the service we received, with one exception: the massage. After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

Not so bad... Pretty Chic. I like it…read more They take you back. Guys and girl separate. You each have your own locker rooms. They give you direction and off you go. There is staff around so if you have any questions, that can be answered. The locker rooms are clean. There are a couple private changing rooms and, of course, cuz it is separate from the men, you can choose to change in the open. You change into your bathing suit and they provide a robe. Within this locker room, there are showers available and there is also an area provided to get ready AFTER the services are complete. It has hair dryers and spray deodorant and I think lotions. They do provide "wet slippers". They fit like no show socks so there's no need for any kind of flip flop type shoe to protect your feet. I have no review for the men's locker room cuz... Well. I'm not a man. BUT my husband had no complaints. When ready, you meet your partner and go to the "bath" area. They have all kinds of hot tubs and steams rooms and cold plunges and just yeah. It's pretty cool. You hang your robe and in you go. There is also a juice bar and the juices are delicious. Again, there is plenty of staff to assist with any questions you may have. If you booked a massage, and, of course, why not? They will let you know when it's time. You go upstairs and get the best massage of your life. I had a female masseuse and my husband had a male one. Once done, back into the locker room to get ready for the rest of your day/evening. It was a pleasant experience. It was also quite pricey. This was gifted to me and my man. Not sure if we would have extra funds to splurge within our own budget. This is downtown Chicago. Parking is NOT provided. Although they do offer valet.

We received an email before our visit asking if we would be able to switch our 10:30 appointments to 8:00 am or 11:45 am to accommodate another guest interested in services. Since we were visiting from out of town and had other plans, we were not able to switch to these times but eventually agreed to move to 9:15 even though it was not our preferred time. The attendants upon arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The eucalyptus steam sauna was closed for repair, which was not indicated when we booked. The dry sauna and hot tub were very small. As the morning went on it got incredibly busy. There were so many people waiting for appointments that there weren't enough chairs in the relaxation room, and it was very crowded by the vanity/mirrors and showers. Our treatments we good, not spectacular for the cost, but we expected expensive treatments on a busy weekend in Chicago. We were offered complimentary enhancements for switching appointment times-a face mask or eye mask. A nice touch but not nearly worth switching our plans around for. We had separate reservations to begin with but somehow when we were asked to move our reservation times, we were put on the same reservation. As a result, I was charged for my friend's service. We each made multiple calls to the spa to try to get it corrected. After at least four attempts to get it corrected over the phone, I emailed the spa. It took 8 days from when we were at the spa for them to begin processing a refund to my card. We were very surprised by all of this, especially at such a luxury spa.
