Massage was WHATEVER, but did enjoyed to relax in the private room beforehand while having tea and macaroons. Felt a uncomfortable when the masseuse was massaging my chest. I'm using to receiving massages but it felt off. I should have said something, but I was uncomfortable to do so.

Visiting from LA to Chicago', Trump spa was on our itinerary. We booked 3 massages. This place was a treat! Very clean and great customer service. The massage was beyond relaxing. Next time I have plans to add on additional treatments. The spa relaxation lounge was my favorite! The stunning views of Chicago while enjoying tea will be such a memorable experience. This was definitely a highlight of our vacation. See reel: instagram @morelifewithbri

Most relaxing lounge and incredible services - highly recommend! Best spa in the city, hands down!

Beautiful amenities, amazing staff and the best massage services - can't recommend it enough! Caesar is my go massage provider- but everyone I've encountered has been incredible too! Highly recommend, gorgeous spa!

Came to the Spa to have a massage. it was a fabulous massage and the spa and the amenities were great! The spa had very relaxing chairs to sit in and other amenities like a eucalyptus steam shower and a pool. Very beautiful hotel and location.

The barbaric contract one must sign to patronize The Spa at Trump
Ajay G.

As a resident of Trump Tower, the Spa is rather tempting, given that I can get a massage without ever having to set foot into the blistering cold winter of Chicago. Add to that, that residents get a substantial discount on the weekdays, and it should seem like a no-brainer. Yet, as a matter of personal policy and adherence to my principles, I simply cannot patronize The Trump Spa, for one simple reason. At the beginning of every visit, they make you sign a ridiculous contract in which you must agree to "give up substantial human rights". How can I possibly enjoy what is supposed to be a relaxing Swedish massage when just moments prior, I signed a contract giving up substantial rights? If this was North Korea, I'd be agreeing to 20 years hard labor. Additionally, the contract is poorly written: "I release the released parties..." If the policy were to require signing of the contract only on initial visits but not on subsequent visits, I might be able to eventually forget that I have signed such a barbaric document and enjoy the services, but no...they make you sign it every time you visit. Lastly, they include a 20% gratuity on your bill, and while that can be adjusted at the request of the customer, I find it obnoxious and presumptuous when any gratuity is forced. And so it goes, that instead of visiting the beautiful spa just floors beneath me, I trek out in frigid temperatures to Urban Oasis for my massages, where I don't have to sign a ridiculous contract, am not forced into a gratuity, and where the massages are just as good, if not better.

Not a Trump worthy manicure by far. Polish was uneven and also on my skin!

Staff was excellent and attentive and it was a perfect day to get pampered. My 'Universal Glow' facial was thorough and the massage was excellent. Front desk didn't mention to my boyfriend when he made the reservation that the men's stream room was out of order so that peeved him. All the ammendities were the standard ones and it wasn't anything too special. My manicure was not trump quality by far. From what your paying and the location where you are you'd expect even coats of nail polish, thorough cleaning and trimming around the nail folds- at the least! (Skin wasn't even trimmed around the nail bed!) Bf's pedicure was better, probably because no polish was involved but even then the manicurist didn't swipe under the nail . He had to ASK her to clean the sock fuzz out! His feet did end up baby smooth with some good laughs. The overall experience was just ok and paying hundred(s) for these services was def not worth it.

A one-of-a-kind experience in Chicago!…read more While visiting Chicago from out of town, I was lucky enough to discover Aire Ancient Baths, and it was easily a highlight of my trip. It feels like a speakeasy or a well-kept secret: there's no signage outside, so you almost have to know it's there. Even better, they're open until 11:30 PM, which made it a perfect late-night escape after a full day of exploring. Reservations are required, so be sure to book ahead. I did the 90-minute session and tried all of the different pools and spa experiences, from the salt room to the steam room, cold plunge, and the saltwater bath. Every stage was unique and incredibly relaxing, and the whole atmosphere is calm, candlelit, and unlike anywhere else I've been. I had a wonderful time and left feeling completely refreshed. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…read more Use Caution when booking. I booked my reservation on May 23, 2026 for July 19, 2026 for my 11 year anniversary. Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

This time, I decided to schedule a mani & pedi at the end of my week stay as an added treat. When I tell you that I was shocked by my experience here, I mean it. There was nothing luxurious about this at all. And these are absolute top-tier prices for their services. They took me down the stairs after I checked in and I waited in this dark area as people were randomly walking back and forth from the pool area. A woman escorted me into this insanely small room (it looks like a closet) where there were 2 pedicure chairs right next to each other then 2 manicure stations across from that. I truly was shocked. I wanted to leave. Their website and spa detail information is so insanely misleading. This small room they cram you into has no windows, and is at the end of a dark hall. Forget that we are still dealing with the pandemic and there is zero social distancing. The two nail techs that were working were lovely but so obviously under appreciated & overworked. Which is beyond sad. My pedicure was ok but my manicure was the worst I've ever received. I wanted a French tip and the tech haphazardly painted each tip with a regular brush. Not one was the same. I also walked out and came right back to get some nail polish remover to clean up my own hands as I had white polish all over my skin. Just insane. The receptionist was appalled when I showed her my nails so she said she would take it off my bill ($65) was removed but I still paid over $150 plus tip for my mani and pedi. In my personal option, they should close down the manicure and pedicure options of the spa. It is not a luxury, high end experience. Quite the opposite. This was not a great way to end our stay here & it put such a bad taste in my mouth. I won't ever come back to the spa for any service at all.

The experience was truly lovely and relaxing. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The waiting area was calm, elegant, and very comfortable, which immediately set a soothing mood. Ivy came to escort me for my pedicure and explained the entire process very clearly. She helped me settle comfortably into the chair and made sure I felt relaxed throughout the service. Ivy is very sweet, polite, and professional. She paid great attention to detail and did her job beautifully. The staff also offered me coffee or water, which was a thoughtful touch and added to the overall comfort. I asked Ivy to help me choose a good nail color, and she guided me patiently until we found the perfect shade. I really appreciated her suggestions. To make the day even more special, the spa surprised me with a Christmas gift, which truly made me feel the holiday spirit and wished. Overall, the service was excellent, warm, and memorable. I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. It wasn't long at all before my smiling masseuse came to come and get me. Before I knew it I was laying face down getting the most relaxing massage I've had in a long time. This place serves at a high end level of excellence. My masseuse was very professional and just knew the perfect level of pressures to get all the knots, kinks, and stress print up on my back. Incredible, Incredible, Incredible!! :)…read more I was definitely in need of a spa day and Waldorf Astoria is the BEST! Such an amazing, relaxing experience. From the warm welcome to the tea, snacks and champagne to the relaxing rainfall shower, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room--WOW! They thought of every detail, providing you with a serene experience. Wow! I came for a deep tissue performance massage from Mark, who not only was so friendly, accommodating, he also has almost 30 years of experience. He literally got every area. He asked me how the pressure was and then he made adjustments based on what I asked for. I really appreciate how professional he was as well. He even provided some water and a chocolate after my massage. Incredible service! It's all in the details. Cynthia was the spa attendant and she was great! So friendly, accommodating, so quick and on things. She warmly welcomed me, walked me through the facilities and the process. She served me tea in the lounge, offered me champagne and even helped me make sure my bikini got dried. Excellent service! Vanessa at the front desk was very friendly, so helpful and very organized. Excellent! The entire staff is very friendly! Amazing! I came out feeling so much better than when I came in, so relaxed, calm, amazing! We received an email before our visit asking if we would be able to switch our 10:30 appointments to 8:00 am or 11:45 am to accommodate another guest interested in services. Since we were visiting from out of town and had other plans, we were not able to switch to these times but eventually agreed to move to 9:15 even though it was not our preferred time. The attendants upon arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The eucalyptus steam sauna was closed for repair, which was not indicated when we booked. The dry sauna and hot tub were very small. As the morning went on it got incredibly busy. There were so many people waiting for appointments that there weren't enough chairs in the relaxation room, and it was very crowded by the vanity/mirrors and showers. Our treatments we good, not spectacular for the cost, but we expected expensive treatments on a busy weekend in Chicago. We were offered complimentary enhancements for switching appointment times-a face mask or eye mask. A nice touch but not nearly worth switching our plans around for. We had separate reservations to begin with but somehow when we were asked to move our reservation times, we were put on the same reservation. As a result, I was charged for my friend's service. We each made multiple calls to the spa to try to get it corrected. After at least four attempts to get it corrected over the phone, I emailed the spa. It took 8 days from when we were at the spa for them to begin processing a refund to my card. We were very surprised by all of this, especially at such a luxury spa.

The ambiance is very chill and relaxing, and having a private room for our group was a nice touch. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of a couple of small things. We were supposed to receive two bottles of champagne as part of our experience, but only one was brought out. We had to ask about the second one, and at first they actually refused to give it to us because it was already toward the end of the evening. I understand that we were finishing up, but we were supposed to receive both bottles as part of the experience in the first place. The other thing is that the pool and sauna are on the 8th floor, while the spa services are on the 5th floor. It's not a huge deal, but it would be much more convenient if everything were on the same floor. That said, we still had a great time and the overall atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely recommend it for a girls' day, bachelorette party, or just a relaxing spa day.
