My scalp felt nourished and clean --definitely feeling some TLC. My hair also felt softer, smoother, and healthier. They were so delicate with my hair; I felt so relaxed I was close to falling asleep a few times. I was in town for a conference and decided it would be a great treat to get a massage. The reviews for this place were good so I figured I'd give it a try. The best thing in the place were the free M&M's they have on the table. There is no real privacy. The rooms are curtained off in the cold basement of the building. The massager...can't call her a massage therapist because it certainly was not therapeutic. I asked her to reduce the pressure....she did but apparently her techniques beat and bruised my back in ways I would have never imaged. She was nice...but very rough, with heavy rushed and chaotic strokes. Someone walked in my curtained space while she was doing my massage...again no privacy. The price is decent for. 2 hour massage. But, the end result...bruises and pain are not worth it. No one should have to be use Tylenol after a massage. I went for peace and left in pieces. read more

On another Yelpers recommendation, I booked an appointment for the Thinning Hair - Thicken Spa Treatment here coz my hair was falling out due to stress, and honestly, this was such a good decision. When I entered the spa, they had me swap my shoes for their open flip-flops (felt fancy, not gonna lie) and checked me in. They did a scalp analysis with a camera which was lowkey shocking to see all the product buildup from my shampoo and conditioner. After that, I headed downstairs to the spa area. The spa rooms don't have doors, just heavy curtains, but the vibe was super calming, music was relaxing. Jane did my treatment, and she was amazing; perfect pressure, professional, and she softly explained each step before doing it. Every time she applied a hair spa masks, she gently massaged it in and made sure all those natural ingredients mix of avocado, ginger, and onion infused with essential oils really soaked into my scalp. She also exfoliated my scalp to remove buildup, then did a hair mask, deep conditioning, and combed it through before using a steamer, which opened up my pores for better absorption and hair growth. But the best part? She didn't stop at just my scalp. Jane applied essential oil on my neck, back and shoulders and gave me a basic full body massage and once my hair treatment was done, she air-dried it with a Dyson, quite fancy! My scalp legit feels healthier and cleaner after this. It was a little expensive hair spa at $240 including the tip, but it was definitely a luxurious, relaxing experience also if you wanna detox your scalp, highly recommend!! read more

O spa was a very unique and relaxing experience! When you walk in, be prepared to take your shoes off. They will give you slippers to use during the duration of your appointment. I had the regular/basic scalp and hair treatment. They used a camera to look at the condition of my scalp, and decided the treatment plan from there. I loved that the spa associate gave me a full body massage as well. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after my appointment! My spa associate also gave me a cute little blow out after my session! I was late to my appointment, but they were still able to squeeze me in. Overall, I had a positive experience. The only feedback I would give is to check the water temperature first before starting the treatment, etc. The water ran a little too hot a few times throughout my treatment. Other than that, it was relaxing and much needed. I highly recommend getting a scalp massage. It is one of the best thing ever. As a medspa owner visiting from out of town, I was excited to treat my daughter and myself to some relaxation and skincare during our vacation. I booked us both the Advanced Organic Facial Treatments along with the Scalp and Hair Treatments. I'm writing this not as a competitor, but as someone with extensive knowledge and deep respect for spa services and unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. From the start, the setting was uncomfortable. Services took place in the basement where treatment tables were separated only by curtains or blankets, with no soundproofing. We could clearly hear blow dryers and conversations happening nearby. The room was extremely hot and they have a very heavy comforter that they put over you. I had my arms out because it was so hot and she covered them. I eventually uncovered more because I couldn't handle the heat. During the facial, the face steamer was placed so close to my face that it felt suffocating. I politely asked three separate times for it to be turned off, and while she would turn it off briefly, she kept turning it back on. Though there was a slight language barrier, it was clear that she understood my request but chose to ignore it. The facial technique itself was overly aggressive. Products were applied and immediately wiped away with sponges that had a chemical (bleach-like) odor. The service was supposed to include gua sha, which I'm very familiar with. However, what I received was not gua sha at all. She used a stick-like tool to rub harshly across my face, including dangerously close to my eyes and sensitive under-eye area. I had to ask her to stop because I was worried that she would cause undereye bruising due to her pressure and technique. At one point, while working above my lip, the tool slipped into my mouth and scraped across my gums and hit my tooth. No acknowledgment or apology was made, and I was left stunned. Shockingly, no moisturizer or sunscreen was applied at the end of the treatment. My face was simply washed off and left bare. My skin reacted almost immediately after the facial, breaking out in small bumps, especially across my forehead, and nearly two weeks later, it's still struggling to recover. As for the head spa portion, it was something I had genuinely been looking forward to. I absolutely love scalp massages. I have naturally curly hair, and anyone with curls knows you don't dry brush it. She started yanking a brush through my dry curls with no product, no detangling effort, just full-on pulling. I could hear and feel the strands snapping, and I had to ask her to stop a couple of times. I explained that she was pulling out my hair and that it hurt. She moved on to shampooing, and I was hopeful that part might feel better. Unfortunately, she used her fingernails to scratch my scalp so roughly that my head was sore for a couple of days afterward. It didn't feel therapeutic, it felt abrasive. I've never had to repeatedly ask someone to stop during a treatment, but I found myself doing just that over and over again. It was exhausting and stressful, not relaxing. The conditioner portion was more of the same, aggressive rubbing and yanking until I had to ask her to stop again. Then came the steam cap, which seemed fine, but was followed by a very unexpected and bizarre body massage. She had me move into strange positions, slapping my calves, placing my foot on her stomach and pushing up until my knee was aligned in a frog leg position to my shoulder. So odd. To top it all off, I had placed my white shirt on the treatment table before the session started. When I went to put it back on afterward, it was visibly dirty and stained from whatever residue had been on the table surface. The room had been dimly lit, so I hadn't noticed at the time, but it was clearly not clean. My daughter's experience mirrored mine. She said the woman working on her was breathing heavily throughout the session, so much so that I could hear her from across the room. The room was incredibly hot and stuffy, which likely didn't help. She also had to ask her provider to be more gentle. We both left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and honestly, a little gross. My hair felt coated in a filmy residue that took a couple washes to fully remove. My curls wouldn't form like they always do and my hair was limp. I spent a significant amount of money for what was supposed to be a special experience during our trip, and I regret it deeply. This felt nothing like a luxurious or beneficial treatment we were expecting. I literally never leave negative reviews, but this experience was not only unpleasant, it was physically uncomfortable and left my skin and hair in worse condition than when I arrived. First of all, come. You'll leave feeling the most relaxed, cleaned, and satisfied. We were running late due to parking and the owner was very accommodating and gave us a grace period which we were able to make it. The spa is beautiful, smells great, looks clean. As soon as me and my friends arrived, they showed us to our room and used a scanner to check our scalp type in order to recommend us the recommended treatment. I ended up going with the basic one where you'll get guasha and lymphatic massage and it was amazing. Daisy the one who helped me and she was very gentle and professional from the start to end. I had the best massage I've ever received and trust me, I go to massage places a lot and they were all basic. Daisy focused on some area where I had a lot of muscle tightness and made sure she used the appropriate pressure. The scalp massage was good and she washed my hair a few times and ensure my scalp is clean. Over all treatment was 1 hour and I definitely wished it was longer. This is my second time to visit O Spa. The first time I booked a 90 minute dry scalp and hair treatment for me and my friend. It really was incredible. I never had such a clean feeling on my scalp. It was a new experience for me. As an unexpected bonus, my mild headache disappeared! This time I got the organic facial. I enjoyed the Gua Sha part, of the service. I never noticed how much tightness I had around my eyes! After an hour session, I felt that my skin can literally breathe better. I plan on returning once a month to get both services. I don't like to give sub par reviews, but I wished someone would have written something like this so that I would have considered it before booking a treatment. Firstly, upon walking in, the hostess was clearly on edge and stressed and could barely greet us without sounding gruff. Not the greatest first impression when you're going in for something relaxing and enjoyable. We were taken into the basement where each room had curtains as the door, limited privacy and can hear everything from other rooms, particularly the hair dryers when people are at the end of their treatments, quite loud and disturbing after you received a relaxing treatment. A couple of things that I noted that stuck out to me: 1. the treatment provider I had combed through my knotted hair as if I didn't have any knots at all, I let her know multiple times that she was hurting me, but she didn't understand English so I tried to show her, but after the 3rd attempt I think she finally realized and just moved on. 2. The smell in the part of the basement I was in was incredibly moldy. I couldn't help but to wonder what I was inhaling. 3. Many of the products, creature comforts were sub par. For instance, although a couple of the bottles of product listed Kerastase, I can tell you the product that was coming out of the bottle was not Kerastase, take it from someone who buys these products. And, the bolster used under my knees deflated and wasn't supportive at all, so much so that my back felt the strain from lying flat on the table. Sorry O Spa, I really wanted to like you. read more

Don't believe all the good things you see about this place on social media. Save your money. We hated our $199 scalp massage and facials (the special they offer). They rushed us in, even though we arrived 10 min early, and were unfriendly, rough and none of the services were even remotely relaxing. You know how if feels when they massage you way too fast? And it doesn't seem like the person knows what they're doing? That's what it was like. The facial involved no steam. Just repeated face washings that felt like the very same product was used each time. Of the 45 minute scalp massage, 20 minutes of it was spent blow drying our hair without a brush, leaving us with frizzy hair. The short massage was also terrible and they pushed my legs into painful positions. There were no consultations about your skin or any issues you might have. Just rush you in and out. Truly wish I'd asked for my money back (almost $500 for both of us, including tip). So not worth it. Also, street parking is $10. read more
