This place is amazing. Nothing fancy but good service when you need a massage in a pinch

Incredible place to get a deep tissue massage. I did the 90-minute Foot Reflexology massage and it was so relaxing! The pressure is much firmer than standard here. In the lobby area you check in, remove your shoes, and silence your phone. Then you're escorted to a large dimly lit room where massage beds are semi-private and separated in pairings with beaded curtains. There is relaxing music playing so you don't really notice other people in the room besides the noise of the employees walking around. You start off soaking your feet in a warm soak as you get a head and arm massage. Next they massage your feet and calves, then you flip onto your stomach and they end with a deep back, neck, and shoulder massage. You are fully clothed the entire time, so I would wear shorts and a loose fitting top. There is a small basket by your massage bed that you can put your belongings in. After your massage you can tip in cash. read more

My feet always hurt and I love a good foot massage, so I decided to try this place via groupon. I wish most places like this existed on the south side, but here we are. Like many said, the space is nice and open, come with loose clothes on, as the massage is done clothed. I had a nice massage therapist who was really firm throughout and I felt pretty relaxed. Honestly I would have just been okay with a head massage and foot massage for 90 minutes and next time I'll ask if that is possible. Overall I would go again (and tip well!) read more

Service is great. Due to the thunderstorms I arrived a bit later than my appointment, yet they were able to accommodate. Yet I did call ahead to reserve a time. It's a nice space and good calm music. I like that they ask which level of pressure you want. I went with medium hard, yet definitely think I need hard massage pressure moving forward. Overall great place. read more

Well, in the form of confession, it's been a long time since my last spa visit (a Vegas massage and suntan place) so I approached this one with some trepidation. It was a pleasant surprise! The place is clean and inviting. I was in for a foot massage (30 minutes for $25). I came in; paid at the counter and took off my shoes and place them in a rack. The massage area is a large, high ceilinged room with about 20 pallets separated by curtains. There were about a half dozen people getting massages; all male masseuses at the time I was there. The room was softly lit with low, soothing music. My masseuse put a finger to his lips indicating that it was a quiet area. He indicated that I was to lie down on the pallet. He then placed a towel loosely over my eyes and covered me with a blanket and began the massage. He worked on each foot for about 15 minutes and then I was done. Few words were spoken but we communicated with gestures as needed. I thanked him and gave him a $5 tip. He gave me a post massage bottle of water when we got to the waiting room. I put on my shoes and was out the door; feeling great. I'm giving all this description to highlight how easy and hassle free the whole process turned out to be. My feet actually feel very pleasantly relaxed and rejuvenated; if that's possible? I I'll be back! read more

I've never been disappointed walking out. The atmosphere is simple but clean. As long as I wear loose clothing, communicate what I'd like softer, harder, and tip properly, I feel like it is good service for the cost. read more

This place is absolutely amazing and the pricing is affordable. I typically will get my deals off Groupon and come to this place. The staff are so professional and easy to work with. It's easy to schedule appointments here as well. The ambience is very neat and it's a very clean. read more

Called about 30 minutes before appointment and they were able to take me and two friends. Clean area, friendly workers. Not separate rooms for each massage bed, which I didn't like. Plenty of options to choose from and very affordable pricing. Will return read more

Best new find in massage in Chicago! Our old place closed and now we like Foot Smile even better! Peaceful and amazing masseuse. We have had 5 now and never disappoint. Husband and daughter and I all loved ours. Tip well! These people work so hard to give you an amazing experience. We are already going back next week! read more

I went with a friend today who'd never been there before so I was a bit concerned about the mixed reviews. It's been awhile since I had a treatment there but I'd always enjoyed my reflexology visits in the past. I was very relieved to find that the massage was just as good a I remembered. And my friend enjoyed it too. We might try to make this a monthly thing. Thanks Foot Smile Spa! read more

This place was able to take my booking less than 2 weeks in advance, the combo A massage + hot stones was wonderful & the best part is -- it's affordable. I highly recommend following their recommended tipping scale or exceeding it! Thank you thank you! read more

I've been visiting this place for years and I highly recommend. Always. Everyone nice. Although English is not the first language for many, the accupressure therapists work to understand you. Never a bad experience. read more

the owner is absolutely doesn't have any ethics. I made appointment and asked for the person with experience because I had bad experience at this place with lady who was just started and did not have any idea how to do massages, she doesn't even cut her long nails. after my request he almost kicked me verbally from this place, saying we don't want to do massage to you , no , no .... I have never experienced such a situation. I went next door place Foot massage and gad blessed time , this place now is my gem for massages. I don't recommend foot massage smile to anyone, never going back . read more

This place is really good and if you are like me that loves hard massages this is the place to come to. They give massages while you have your clothes on so dress comfortable and light too like a tank top or leggings or shorts. The parking is on the street and sometimes it's hard to find parking in the area. Other than the place is clean and also quiet inside. Good friendly service as well. read more

we used to love this place. sadly the folks that work the desk are more concerned about the upsell. also the last two professionals were less effective than my 4 pound dog at working on my back..... read more

This place is the best kept secret in Chicago. I usually purchase the 60 minute groupon deal but this last time I did 90 minutes. Ever masseuse I have had listens to feedback about my back and neck problems and customizes my massage to my needs. I have paid for more expensive massages and they don't come close. Foot Smile is clean, comfy, and fabulous. I have been so many times and I can't wait to go back. read more

Had a great massage here. Very long foot and leg room which was lovely. There's always that one guy who snores, so he was there, which I hate. He wasn't super loud but def distracting. Street parking, mostly paid, but if you're there at right time like I was, you can find loading zones that are free past 5p. read more

I have been here twice and had two different people. They did such an amazing job and the price is great for what you get. I went with a friend this time and she loved it as much as I did. read more

Different massage experience alert: If you are a fan of full body massages then you should consider this spot to try out. The massage space is open room only separated by curtains. His was ok; only if you ok with the sounds of others reacting to their massage and the sound of hands smacking legs. The key takeaway from the experience is that your feet are submerged in warm water while the rest of your body is being massaged. My masseuse was really good. Worked in my full body front and back. When he got to my feet they really spend time on the bottom and between toes. Those areas even we forget. Service lasted for an hour and they even have deals on Groupons. Enjoy read more

Horrible service!!!!!DO NOT COME HERE my partner and I went for a massage paid and when we were done we tipped $5 each, only for the receptionist to demand that we tip more. He became so rude and began to threaten us. I have never experienced anything like that before. He followed us outside and kept yelling at us that we should tip more. I think he harasses customers for tips because he doesn't pay the people giving the massages, they can't speak English so he cheats them out of their money. The man giving me a massage also was inappropriate. This doesn't even look like a massage place. When you enter it's a room full of beds with people talking and getting massages. I should have read the reviews first. THE WAS THE WORST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. I AM NEVER GOING BACK read more

The massage was OK. The receptionist should not guilt customers into paying a higher tip. She said her workers live off tips. That's fine to have suggested tips but it's whatever's the customer is comfortable giving. She kept insisting we provide more. read more

Great spot for manicure/pedicure when you've got some downtime and the staff were pretty fast

Excellent, strong massage by Peter, I highly recommend him. Not fancy but clean & quiet.

Came 30 minutes early and they accommodated us right away. Very large room with multiple tables. At least 5 workers here and are very busy. The table was comfortable. Massage was slightly above average but not a lot of pressure as I requested. Was the end of the night, last clients, which is never ideal to do as in this industry by the end of the day fatigue is setting in. Very clean and quiet environment. Parking on Fullerton was easy but it also was a later Sunday evening. read more

I went here yesterday for a sixty minute massage. The person who did my massage was extremely rough, which says something considering I only get deep tissue massages when I go to massage spots. But this was not normal. I woke up today crying in so much pain. I can barely turn my body, get out of bed, or move around and I have bruises forming on my body from the places they were massaging. I have never been in pain like this before in my life. This is the first and only time I will come here. read more

First foot massage post-pandemic, and this place did not disappoint! Full disclosure, I was skeptical based on the mixed reviews. But I stopped to Walgreens to get cash while en route to another similar establishment in the area, saw this place across the street, and decided to give it a shot. They do make you pay up front now. And they accept Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo. Only complaint was the faint hint of cigarette smoke I could smell on the masseuse's hands. But the massage skills allowed me to focus on the massage instead. Definitely plan to return. read more

There's just something about a complete stranger running their hands and fingers in between your toes that drives me wild...in a good way. My Groupon for a 40 minute foot reflexology massage was about to expire, so I decided to use it on a Friday afternoon right after work. The Groupon said to make an appointment and calling on the day of was no problem. They had an opening for me at 5:15. The whole experience was very relaxing and peaceful. The receptionist had me remove my shoes and silence my phone, then led me to a dimly lit, quiet back room full of twin size massage beds, with soft instrumental calming music playing in the background. My masseuse then came by and had me dip my feet in warm water to soak, and told me to layb down. He then put a blanket on me and came by behind me to start massaging my head and temples, neck, and upper back. Omg it felt divine! I was surprised to be getting this head massage as i thought my feet would be the only one to get the special treatment on this visit. After about 5-10 minutes (I wasnt keeping count as I was in a state of relaxation and ALMOST asleep but not quite), he moved onto massaging my right arm, right shoulder, and right hand, then repeated it on my left side. After about 10 minutes of that, he moved to the feet. This guy had the softest and smoothest hands but was strong enough to give that oomph. Imagining someone massaging each individual toe. Working their way from the smallest to the largest toe, then to the soles of your feet, then repeating it on your other foot. The feeling was amazing and I never wanted it to end. He then moved on to stretching out your legs and lower body. He worked on my feet/legs for about 20-25 minutes but felt longer. If you've never had a foot massage, please come here and treat yourself. They always have great deals on Groupon and it's so worth it! Dont forget to tip your masseuse! read more

This place is WONDERFUL. Overall, they're professional, know what they're doing, provide a great atmosphere, are extremely affordable, and I always leave feeling so much better. Peter is my absolute favorite therapist here. He's so kind and listened to my body when he could tell something needed extra work or was too painful. I'll definitely be requesting him from now on! I highly recommend this place to people who experience consistent discomfort and need a massage routine in their lives. read more

First, those that have never been here this place can be intimidating. The gentleman in the front doesn't quiet explain the next 90 mins. He takes your money after you blindly pick a package then shown into a dark communal room with soft oriental music playing. We picked package B. Which was included massage arms, shoulder, neck and feet. Before you are gestured to lay down with a towel over your eyes you are asked level of massage intensity. I picked low but throughout it felt like medium. All in all it was a nice different experience. I will say this to the manager/ owner: 小费通常是服务费的 20%，如果您希望您的员工获得更好的报酬，请考虑从服务费中支付给他们。 32 美元服务的 20 美元小费是不合理的。 当您的客户试图通过按摩放松时，不要再大声说话。 这让人分心。 read more

Pick your poison and be happy! My masseuse was gentle but firm and helped me relax! Affordable and private

Made an appointment last week and was a little early - they got me in right away when I got there. I was a little confused at first upon entering the room as it's a group space so the staff just points to things. (This is not an individual massage - there are a bunch of couches set up in one space , completely fine for me ) The staff asks you to point on a sign with how much pressure you want prior to the massage starting . I did a medium which was absolutely perfect The masseuses was great , he knew what he was doing and the pressure was perfect . Over all you can't beat the price for an hour massage , I will absolutely be going back read more

Worst foot massage place ever!! Every place I been to all the massage therapist either stand or sit on a chair while massaging you The guy massaging me kept sitting on the bed I was laying on while massaging! Like WTF! Am I suppose to move over and let u sit on the bed while I stand! The whole time I'm telling him lighter not so hard he didn't listen and kept using all his strength on his elbow on my upper back! On my foot he kept rubbing the same spot and fyi his nails were so long he was scratching me! Over all this will be a first and last visit! read more

I should have listened to the reviews. I left feeling worse than I arrived. I have to get a new massage tomorrow because I am legitimately sore, *I have shooting pains in my leg and thigh that were not there prior.* I had to tell her she was hurting me and to use proper technique. Too much oil, bad technique. I didn't see any massage technician licenses on the wall either... If you're in a rush and Massage Envy is booked then take your chances... But if my friend asked me, I'd say stay the hell away. read more

Fantastic place. I've been coming for years and still love it. I haven't experienced any of the tipping drama that a few bad reviews mention. It's customary to tip 20% before the groupon or sale. These employees have to earn a living too, so it's a matter of respect. They shouldn't have to ask. read more

If you know, you know. Asian massage with no frills, but excellent technique. Don't go expecting frills and yes, they do talk to each other but in hushed tones in their language, which I actually find soothing. No disrobing required, not excessive use of oil or lotion. Place was very clean, they were actually cleaning when we arrived as the first opened. We are visiting from out of town, but won't hesitate to go back when we return. read more
