NOW Massage in Lakeview is amazing. I've been to several Masseuse' and all fantastic-especially Nikalda and Alissa. The staff is so nice, love Kia and Preston. The prices are great. The Spa so clean and smells calming. Massages are so good for physical and emotional health so I highly recommend NOW. read more

Best massage experience I've ever had! From walking into the lobby and my interactions with reception, I immediately felt taken care of. Victor was my masseuse and I was asleep within 15 minutes. The room itself is comfortable and I loved the heated table. I left feeling like I woke up in another dimension. Great deals with gift cards - my friend got me an 80 min massage for my birthday. I'll be back! read more

The massage therapist, Aaron was exemplary and of the highest level I've had. He DEFINITELY knew what he was doing and it was evident he was well trained and experienced. Sometimes you don't realize that until you've had a bunch of average level massages and then get a really good therapist like Aaron read more

I came in with my partner a few minutes early and was not taken to the massage room until 8 mins after the time but my therapist did make up for it so I felt like I got most of my session. My partner, however, did not. He was taken back late (15 after start time) and was already done in the lobby and paid by the time I came out. He confirmed his session in total was 65 mins not the 80 we both paid for. And when I tried to mention it to the front desk I did not appreciate the attitude. The person was not understanding at all and flat out contradicted us even though I kindly tried to say I don't think he got his full time. Honestly it was a little rude and dismissive. This experience was very different from my normal experience here where front desk are always pleasant and kind and I've had a membership for a couple years at least. All I can say is maybe don't go in evenings because the daytime and weekend ten seems to be better. read more

Janet was outstanding and the ambience was wonderful with wonderful calming sounds and waves in the background. The room you are in isn't walled so be open to hearing coughs or other sounds occasionally from others on the other side of the curtain. They were big on making sure we stayed hydrated which was a plus. Bill was my masseuse and he was subpar in my opinion not applying enough pressure even when I asked for more or really giving me a massage at all. It felt more like a cat doing the massage. If you go, ask for Janet, she did my friend's massage and knew her stuff with the perfect pressure and hitting and working out every spot and and expert with the hot stones and cupping. If I was just rating Janet it would be 5 stars but Bruce is probably my worst massage to date, a 1 star massage, and I get them on the regular and worldwide. I asked for a masseuse who did cupping for both me and my friend and when I arrived they told me only one of ours knew how so of course I let my friend have Janet since this was a weekend for her bachelorette. So all in all if you go, please request Janet not Bill and hopefully the establishment will be better about what they promise for the future so I don't receive someone like Bill if I choose to return. read more

I highly recommend Massage therapist Jacob. His technique is the best in my opinion. I always leave feeling relieved after having him a medium pressure massage along with lighting stretching. read more

Lane is wonderful! They are so intuitive...listening to what my body is telling them and knowing exactly what I need. I have some really tough problem spots, and I always feel relaxed and cared for by the end of each session. Thank you, Lane! read more

Communication is terrible ! Front Desk people were not very friendly , they seemed to be very indifferent from the min you walk in ... they don't greet you , don't explain anything , don't ask any questions or make any recommendations in order to help customers to choose the right service ! Not even trying to help customers to make a better suitable to their needs selection at all !? On the phone I've requested a woman , when I walked in - they introduced me to a non binary person looking like a man with the bird and mustache , speaking in the women's voice ?!? I've told them - that's not what I've requested and I would like a woman masseuse ... they simply told me to comeback in two hours without any apology ...!? Which I did ... But 2 hours of my time and effort have been wasted ! No , I wouldn't recommend this to anyone !!! Very rude and unfriendly! read more

An incredible ambiance, fantastic design, and a deeply relaxing massage made the experience delightful. Unfortunately, the personal interactions weren't as welcoming as expected. read more

Amazing place to get your massage and to immerse yourself in an experience that feels like you've traveled to another place. I had my massage with Javier and he was great and super polite. I did the 80 minutes and it was so worth it. The interior design, the smells and super clean ambiance makes this place unique. Receptionist we great too. I definitely recommend it. read more

Always great massages. I usually book at random so sometimes get the same person, sometimes someone new. I never have to worry about- it's always good. Also quick shout out to Michael at the front desk who is always helpful!! read more

I showed up 25 minutes early, was taken back promptly at 11:30am. A quick talk on what to focus on and asked about health issues and surgeries, then went to the room to change. The look and feel is rustic style and communal area with its drapes separating rooms. After reading reviews I decided to time. I did ask the front desk attendee if it is actually 80 minutes or like a 90 minute where their is undress and dress time, she stated its 80 of actual massage. The Lady I had was unique on her style of deep tissue, never was really that deep to cause any soreness, and was good/ok. Seemed to skimp on the message cream used and didn't really focus on feet or hands much. I only specified to focus on knots if found which she did a good job with. Afterwards before getting dressed I had a stop watch going and a timer set for 80 minutes. It was ended even earlier. Now I don't mind if it is listed as 90 and get 80, but it is listed as 80 and got 75. Seems like a nickle and dime to keep charging more and getting less time. Only other complaint is when getting dressed their was no where to sit to put shoes on and the concrete slab was cold. Otherwise friendly staff and good massage. read more

Beautiful atmosphere with heated massage beds. Kyle does an amazing job. I loved it so much I became a member. For the area this place is the best value. read more

So glad this place opened up in lakeview. I had been traveling the past couple months and needed a massage ASAP. I scheduled an appointment to "test" them out and was not disappointed. Not only is the place beautiful and zen, but the staff was top tier. Front desk was very professional and helped guide me in my options. My masseuse John was an EXPERT. He worked the knots in my shoulder and back so well. I ended up signing up for a monthly membership. I had previously had to travel to Andersonville for my massages, and am happy I can go somewhere more local that's better! read more

I had a massage with John, he is amazing! John was very conscientious of checking in with my needs. He also is a very strong massage therapist and helped me release my hips which are always tight. The ambience of this place is amazing! The minute you walk into the corridor you're transformed into being on a Mexico vacation. I can't wait to come here when it's snowy in Chicago and feel like I went away just by walking into The NOW! The front desk is so nice, and conscientious of offering discounts through membership but not being pushy. read more

Really great place -- a relaxing, rejuvenating escape. I went once and knew I'd be back frequently, so became a member for lower rates. Lobby staff is friendly, welcoming and professional and the massage professionals take their jobs seriously. Shelley does particularly fantastic work. She's very intuitive as to appropriate pressure and attentively addresses any issues you may bring up. read more

Wonderful massage. Shelly is very skilled and pleasant. Very nicely designed for comfort and peaceful, quiet experience. Will be back!

I am glad these NOW spas have opened up! We needed something like this in Chicago. A place dedicated to massages that is not a ridiculously expensive spa, but still feels indulgent.I love the optional add-ons too! Silvanna was professional and did a great job! I will definitely be back. read more

Always a pleasant experience at NOW. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. The masseuses are notably hardworking and extremely intuitive to their clients. I often have difficulty describing my discomfort/pain that brings me in to get a massage and the masseuses always do a great job of asking specific questions and listening to my body. I highly recommend Shelley! She was so sweet and attentive. read more

This is the best place to get a massage in Lakeview...maybe Chicago! The interior is well designed and luxurious, but also really relaxing. There are some other places around the city where I feel a little uncomfortable going into, but the NOW is 100% NOT LIKE that. Would recommend the sports massage! read more

This place is amazing from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the friendly front desk staff and the smell of fragrant candles burning to the massage itself. I felt like I was in another place entirely with the sound of waves crashing and my massage with Printiss was heavenly. I am a massage therapist myself so can be somewhat picky. He listened to my needs and also was intuitive, finding spots that gave me instant relaxation and relief. read more

John is one of the best massage therapists in the city, and this NOW location is one of the best massage spas in the city. I went with a relaxation massage today with heat and calm balm. I feel fantastic after. I highly recommend trying it and getting a membership. Thank you everyone at NOW Broadway! read more

Great service from beginning to end. Wonderful massage. I upgraded to deep tissue and it was what I expected/needed. read more

This was my first visit, was a Mother's Day gift. The atmosphere was very tranquil and although there are not "walls" but heavy curtains, the noise canceling sound machines made it perfectly private. My treatment was excellent and I would be happy to return in the future. Javier was an excellent therapist. read more

My second massage at this location. Sean was so good. Kind and really helped my get to some much needed relief in the upper back and neck area. The front desk is kind and warm. The ambiance is so surprising coming from a chain. Beautiful, quiet, everything you want to feel pampered and special. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was in heaven. Bought the membership today too. Thanks to everyone that takes the time to make us all feel so special and cared for. read more

I absolutely loved my 50 minute massage at The Now Lakeview with Genevieve. The entrance is light and bright while the massage area is quiet, calm, and tranquil. I requested the gua sha and hemp cam balm enhancements and I could really feel a difference with the gua sha addition, specifically on the difficult areas on my back. I will definitely be returning! read more

Wow! Shelly's technique is amazing and unique. It was deeply relaxing. I really like the ambiance and decor. The wave sounds d machine was really nice and a great alternative to the typical spa music. read more

I have had a lot of massages at the other "chain " massage boutiques. This was a stark contrast. The atmosphere was much more chill and calming not clinical. I had Genevieve and she did the stretch massage and it was incredible. I would highly recommend this place as it has an incredible vibe and even better MTs! read more

This spa is beautiful and relaxing. Genevieve is a fantastic massage therapist and extremely professional. I highly recommend this spa for not only yourself, but to give as a gift! Happy this location is so close to home! read more

Amazing Experience. From the chill California Desert vibes in the entry area to the Tulum-like decor behind the curtain in the spa, The Now successfully creates an inviting, relaxing, and energizing respite from city life, just waiting to recharge you from your busy day. John, my therapist, first checked with me to ensure that I did not have any injuries, and asked if there were any areas that I wanted to focus on and did an amazing job communicating as well as making sure I was comfortable throughout. The space itself transports you. My heated massage table even had a fur throw that was a nice touch. Back to the massage: We started off with some aromatherapy that opened up my breathing, and that was also relaxing. John did a great job, pinpointing trouble areas intuitively, and checking in along the way. I went with my girlfriend and we signed up for their member program as there's a serious discount, and it's something that I know will help reset me, and that's something we can really use as the weather cools off. We can't wait to make this our regular monthly thing. read more
