But my friend came across this deal in group-on and my back was badly needing a massage so I was willing to go for it. If you want or need to have your knots worked out, this is the place! I love deep pressure, especially as part of recovering from a run or working out. This is my go-to place afterwards! Anyone here is pretty good. The space is no frills. There are basically three large rooms with stations right next to each other. So you may be right next to someone else while being worked on. There is a sheet divider in case there is a need to take off a shirt (especially for women). Prices are excellent. I get the 90 minute foot and shoulder/back rub, and it's $65. You can pay with credit card but you must tip in cash. This place is on a busy section of Fullerton. Instead of paying the Chicago meter, park on one of the side streets for free! Plus it's easier to get on your way instead of dealing with Fullerton traffic. read more

Can't beat the price at $28 an hour however there were a few issues with my experience. First issue was the massage was WAY too strong. I asked the guy twice to please be more gentle but I don't think he understood. I've been in pain for a week. The second issue is the masseuse next to me was literally groaning every time he moved. It was so unbelievably distracting I could not relax. The third issue is that the place was absolutely huge and yet they put everyone in beds next to each other. There were so many other open beds why not spread people out?! The final issue was the cleanliness. Unfortunately it just didn't feel very clean. An hour long massage for $28 is hard to beat, so for that fact alone I was thoroughly impressed. The actual space is MASSIVE with rows and rows of massage beds. The space is very dim, and everyone has a cloth over their face, so I still felt comfortable and like it was private enough. They do seat (lay? Haha) your whole party next to each other which is nice, too! They start by soaking your feet while they massage your hands and arms. They move to your feet and legs next, then your shoulders, back and butt. You are fully clothed, and they are consistently checking in on pressure and how you are feeling. It wasn't the most magical massage in the world, but it was such a treat for only $28. I would gladly return! read more

My friend and I both just wanted a solid massage with no frills. This was perfect for us and for the price we couldn't complain. As you walk in you have a woman who sort of pays attention and then the man who tells her she may want to pay attention. We made reservations the night before and we were lead to our tables/chairs promptly. It's dark with seats lined up right next to one another. If you ever go to China, these are the massages that they mostly offer in these kinds of rooms. I had a woman and she was very good with just the right pressure. I like my massages with a little more strength because it just hurts so good. After the massage I felt amazing and my friend said it was possibly one of the best massages she's gotten (for this kind). If you're looking for more luxury this place definitely isn't it. Woke up the following day with an eye infection from the massage table. I can't believe it! Very angry. He put paper towel around the head donut, but it must not have been clean, because I caught a staph infection in my eye! Not worth it! My friend had a Groupon and an appointment. When I arrived, I checked in using her name. But the lady at the front desk didn't look. She said to just sign in. I wrote down my name and my friend's. When my friend arrived she said she had a Groupon. And the lady said "show me at the end. Go ahead on in." The full body reflexology foot massage was good for me. A little painful. My friend noticed her masseuse was a smoker because his hands smelled like smoke. Both of these reasons made it difficult to relax. Upon exiting, we checked out with the front desk lady and gave her the Groupon. She looked at it and said we were at the wrong place. We were supposed to be at Foot Smile Spa one block West. So we were forced to pay for the services provided. $28 each for the hour. It kinda seemed like a scam. She didn't want to see the Groupon in the beginning. And made us pay in the end. We walked down to the correct location and that front desk lady told us that this has happened before. Our reservation was with her, I saw it on her computer, and we rescheduled. So if you have a Groupon, double check the address. My Uber driver dropped me off at the wrong place and my friend went into the first location coming from the train. We both made the mistake. But Fit Foot should have caught it when we checked in. ** Later added: Nicole the business manager responded to my review with a lie. We did not have an appointment with them. She is seeing where I wrote down our names. My friend checked her phone number where she made the appointment and it was not Fit Foot. Again, if the check in had been proper, the front desk lady would have caught the mistake. Instead she hurried us in like she was hiding something. It seemed deliberate. It seemed shady. *** Added even later: Just because they use disposable (paper towel) drape clothes doesn't mean it doesn't harbor bacteria. They should be Clorox disinfecting each bed after every guest. And clearly they think paper towel is enough. It's not. Also, how rude to discredit my complaint of a staph infection by saying other people aren't getting them. Isn't one enough???!! My doctor prescribed antibiotic eye drops and told me it happens more often than people realize, that infections are picked up at spas. I was weary of coming here based on the reviews, but my sister insisted she had a good experience. There is no doubt about it: this is the cheapest way to get a massage. On groupon, you can get a couples massage for $50 and we just asked the lady at the front desk if she would offer that same price to us- she did. $25 per person for an hour! That is the best deal out there. I highly recommend telling the person at the front desk and/or the person giving you the massage if you have any areas you don't want touched (i.e. if you have injuries or if you don't want them to massage your glutes) and the type of pressure you want. We walked into the main room where they had many beds spread out. I'm not sure why they put us next to people who were already getting a massage. We would disrupt their silence by getting settled. They should have spread us out in their very large room. One patron next to us was snoring and another kept receiving phone calls (please put your phone on silent!). The guy that massaged me smelled strongly of smoke, which made it hard for me to relax. Eventually I got used to the smell, but I never truly relaxed because the guy was using so much pressure on my knots. In most cases, I would have said something, but I knew that the next day I would be grateful when almost all of my knots were worked through. My sister said her massage was very relaxing and the person didn't use that much pressure. It really depends who you get, but for me, even though the actual experience wasn't relaxing, my body felt better the next day. I really feel like it was $25 well spent. A big pro is that they actually massage you for 60 minutes (minus 2 minutes for removing the bucket of water and getting a hot towel), not 50 minutes like most places. I found this place a few years back on a Groupon...which isn't a real Groupon unless you get a Groupon coupon as the "special" price always is $28 for an hour. Anyhow, this place can't be beat for an inexpensive no frills massage. I typically call the afternoon of and can get an appointment for that evening. My only complaint is sometimes they are really strong...I mean..really strong and I love this everywhere on my body, but my neck does not appreciate that hurts so good feeling, it straight up hurts. I'll tell them less pressure and it never works....I think they are very mechanical and give everyone the same massage and as such don't adjust the pressure....even if you might be in tears.... read more

90 min massage is intense and deep tissue which is 5 stars in my book as I need to work out my frozen shoulder and become more flexible and try and stretch or do yoga more often. Here's the process: you walk in and will be greeted by a nice lady. There is a service menu to choose from in case you don't know what you want by then but I highly recommend getting the 1 hr (foot + upper body) combo for $28. It's what everybody gets because it is honestly the best deal you will ever find within the states. You are then seated in the same room you walk in from until your massage begins. They will then walk you through a door and you enter this large dark room that has multiple massage beds. There are no individual rooms, don't expect a luxury experience you won't get that here. What you will get is an hour of an amazing full body massage. You keep all your clothes on but roll up your pants for the foot massage because they will work on that first and your feet will be dipped in a warm bucket of water while lying down. Most staffs speak very little English except for the front desk lady so any requests like go lighter or apply more pressure will warrant a call to the front lady for translation. I asked for longer time on my neck and shoulder (yes I called the nice lady over) and got exactly that! I have had several good experiences and a couple of not so good experiences here. For the majority of the times that I've gone it was a relaxing experience and I felt as though my masseuse listened to my guidance. I enjoy when the room is kept quiet successfully and my masseuse is firm but receptive to my instructions. I have had a few not as good experiences where I felt I was not being listened to. I had asked for pressure to be reduced or a certain area not to be touched or said that something didn't feel good and it seemed as though those remarks were not being listened to. I've continued to go back because I think the good experiences outweigh the poor experiences but if I were to find another place that was more consistently good I would go there. read more

My boyfriend and I did the Groupon for a couples 90 minute massage here. Be forewarned, parking is extremely difficult in the neighborhood. Street meter parking out front is $20 for the two hours you need for the appointment. There is free parking on sidestreets that are blocks away, so plan accordingly. We were called 5 minutes prior to our appointment time to ask if we were still coming and I confirmed that we were just looking for parking. Once we arrived, we were briskly walked to the back of a very large room where everyone gets worked on at once. I have been to this kinda place before and knew what to expect, but basically make sure your phone is off and make sure you wear something very comfortable (tank top and shorts) because you want to get as naked as possible yet you are still in a room full of people. Massage was amazing. Both of us laid on tables next to each other and got totally worked over by our own attendant. Overall, a really wonderful massage. I am taking off one star mostly because the attendants were kinda pushy at the end about getting their tip. I wanted to walk back to the front counter section to go through my bag to get my wallet and to discuss the tip with my boyfriend, as I was sure he didn't have any cash on him. And I didn't want to talk in the "quiet zone". I think it could be handled much better/more discreetly if they had the little envelopes at the counter that you could put the tip in when you check out.
