I requested for a female masseuse over the phone twice and asked again once I checked in person. They said it would be a female masseuse. Unfortunately, they didn't honor my request. I didn't realize I was paired with a male masseuse until I was taken back to the massage space. I'm not sure if I would go back due to not honoring my request with the amount of times I've asked. Since my massage was a clothed one, I decided to just stick it out because I needed this relaxation time. Pricing is good and they will price match the Groupon special. The massage space is private and a relaxing environment. However, I wasn't instructed in how to prepare for my massage. My girlfriend's masseuse was rough, careless, and made her feel unsafe, forcing her to end the massage early. When she spoke with the front desk, she was professional and issued a refund, but the situation escalated when the masseuse came into the lobby yelling and arguing loudly in what is supposed to be a peaceful environment. Other staff witnessed his behavior and supported us. Even though we were refunded, the level of unprofessionalism was shocking and completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday experience. Every other 1-star comment here is completely accurate. This place is truly a SCAM. This place has a misleading description on Groupon. I booked a "90-minute Couples Combo Massage Package", which was described as including "Swedish or deep-tissue aurora massage, head, neck, and shoulder massage, combined with reflexology, which targets pressure points on your feet for overall body relief. You'll also enjoy a foot scrub and foot spa for softer, healthier skin." This did not match what was described by the receptionist. First, the receptionist texted me twice before the appointment to reschedule. The first time, she said there was "ongoing construction" and wanted to move our time, which we accepted. The second time, she called 45 minutes before the appointment saying an employee was sick. Then called again five minutes later telling me "a couple cancelled" and we can go at our previously scheduled time. When I arrived, the receptionist immediately said, "I don't want this to be a surprise for you, but it's actually a 1 hour foot massage and only a 30-minute body massage." I explained that the Groupon description did not mention that it will be focusing on the feet for 1 hour. She admitted that she knew the Groupon description was wrong and that the listing was misleading. She also said that she needs to talk to the manager to get it changed! Instead of honoring what we purchased, she said that if we wanted a full body massage (like what we purchased), they would only do their 70-minute package instead of 90 minutes. I told her that wasn't right because I specifically paid for a 90-minute couples massage. She agreed that the spa was in the wrong but said there was nothing she could do. When I asked for the manager's contact information, she refused to provide it. We went through with the shortened 70-minute massage which was decent. Too top it all off the employee demanded a higher tip at the end. I will NEVER go back to this place. It's dishonest, unprofessional, and a complete waste of money. It is a different experience than a high-end spa - more Asian-inspired where the treatment takes place in a public space & you don't take off your clothes. My man Michael uses every part of his upper body to provide intense pressure for the massage (you can request lighter pressure but I want deep tissue AND I get it!). I go for the 90-minute experience. It starts with putting your feet into a tub of warm water & reclining for a face/head rub reflexology. This place will price match Groupon deals. They prefer you go through them than Groupon. Also Groupon cannot be used on weekends. Prices are reasonable here. I got the 70 min combo massage. It was worth every penny. Included foot massage and soak, legs, entire back. My provider did such a good job. All knots removed and I felt so well adjusted after. Now this is a not a foo-foo Swedish massage. My provider put in real body work and even included hot rocks. This may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you want to go beyond the surface of the skin and want to work the muscles then this place is great. Worst spa/massage experience on record. We booked a 90min couples massage. We were under the impression that it would be a Swedish or deep tissue massage that to us meant that we would be taking our clothes off and be in a private room. This was not the case. We were smack dab in the middle of other people getting massages with no way to take our clothes off in private or provided a robe if we wanted to go in the bathroom to undress. The two men that were to perform the massages could not speak English beyond the typical prompts of "does this feel ok" and if you responded with more than a yes or no, they didn't understand. I am not faulting them for that. I have been to many establishments around the world where they have pre printed cards explaining the process. I did not feel comfortable nor did I really understand what was going on since we weren't in a private room. The guy lifted my husbands shirt and said "take off" So he did. I tried my best to go with it and find solace in the massage work that could be done and accept the fact that I would not be getting a Swedish massage like I thought. I was fine until the man started massaging my bicep without any oil on and my tender underarm skin was pulled so hard I thought it might rip. I said something and he changed his pressure but added no oil. I then had to lay still through a massage on my back that basically consisted of him moving a towel around and just rubbing on my back. I've had fully clothes chair massaging that felt and worked better than this attempt. My husband's technician actual fell asleep twice while rubbing his feet. He said he would be rubbing up and down and then slowly stop and then he would jerk back and make a noise. It was awful. Just awful. I also called to speak to a manager. I don't think it's right to write a bad review without giving the management a chance to address my concerns or defend their actions. She literally blamed us and the employees. I will never visit this place again and will make sure that I share my experience with anyone looking for a similar experience. My guess is that the technicians don't even get paid they work just for the tips. As she was insistent that we tip and then belittled me for the amount we tipped. Tips should be for good service. Not for the wages. I did the courtesy of calling the management to let them know about the experience and she chose to put it on all the employees shoulders vs taken responsibility. I had a very unpleasant experience here after buying a Groupon for a couples massage. I wouldn't normally share something like this but I think it's important to warn others what they may be in for. To start, there was no pre-massage check in safety or medical condition disclosure discussion or forms to sign. Looking back this should have been a red flag right there tbh. The man who massaged me made me highly uncomfortable. He used his hands (palms down and fully grabbed my whole butt and massaged completely up and down both cheeks. He then used the length of his arm and elbow to press on my lower back and again did this to my whole butt. Where it got even worse was that he literally spread my cheeks completely apart and pressed his elbow inside the crack. INSIDE. I did have a towel on, but still. I've never had a masseuse touch me like this ever under any circumstances. I froze, because I just didn't know what to do. At first I thought maybe this is just how they do things here but regretted giving it the benefit of the doubt when asked my partner about his experience with the massage. His butt was not touched at all during any point in the massage. I emailed my experience to Groupon to send to the business so they know what happened and can address it with the employee. I really think they just had no idea what they were doing and just were kind of making things up as they went to fill the time but still. This is not ok. I have no idea if Groupon actually did send them my comments or not hence why I'm leaving a review here just so people know to look out for this in case it happens to them which I hope it does not. On top of the inappropriate issue, the massage itself for both my partner and myself was painful. I usually never leave reviews but this was one of the worst foot spa I've encountered. When I got there I selected the package that was $68. The man takes me to the back room and assigns me to a bay without curtains. I was exposed for all the passerby's to see as they walk back. As we started the head massage he stops and goes to the front desk to deal with another customer. I counted 4 times during my interrupted treatment of him walking to the front desk or talking to someone. He tells me they don't have their front desk person. Then he tells me to remove my sports bra and shirt while I'm lying down. This place was a joke. I paid for the service and and requested tip when I didn't annotate it on the receipt. It has been almost a week since I went to Wellness Foot Spa for the "Deep Sleep" massage, and my neck is still in agony from the terrible massage. I didn't have neck pain before the massage, but after Charlie (the masseuse) went full pressure on my neck for way too long, it really hurts and I can barely move it. She also keep badgering me to guess where she was from while I was trying to relax during the massage. It was very awkward and agressive. I really can't understand why this store has such good reviews! As many other comments have mentioned, receptionists are rude and irresponsible and have no idea what their duties are! I called on Saturday, June 23, to inquire about cupping. The operator was a polite and patient girl (who spoke Mandarin). She said that their masseuse could provide cupping service and explained some of the preparations before cupping in detail. I was happy to make an appointment for cupping service on Monday, June 26. On Sunday (6/25), I had my period. I knew that girls during pregnancy or menstruation were not allowed to do cupping therapy, so I called them to reschedule and I also wanted to know whether I could do cupping immediately after my period or wait a few more days to do it. So I called them again, the operator was a boy (who spoke Mandarin), he said he didn't know, he could ask the masseur for me and then call me back, but I didn't get his his call on Sunday. I was completely not angry at that time, I understood that everyone was busy and might have temporarily forgotten my business, so I called them again on Monday (6/26), The operator is a girl (does not speak Mandarin). Our conversation is as follows Me: "I called yesterday about when I can reschedule for the next cupping session, whether I should make an appointment immediately after the end of my period or wait for a few more days" She: "What's your phone number" Me: "xxx-xxx-xxxx" She: "Your appointment today is at 1:00 PM" Me: "I called yesterday, I had my period, so I might not be able to do cupping ; I just want to ask should I reschedule the appointment immediately after the end of menstruation or wait a few more days? " She:" If you want to reschedule, just let me know when you want to come" Me:" May I ask you to help me ask your massage therapist, if she recommends doing it immediately after the end of menstruation or wait a few days to do it. My husband and I had such a relaxing time! We did the 70 minute deep tissue massage and man did we need it! He started off with massaging the head and then they made it down to our feet. It was nice because the water they used for our feet was nice and warm and the pressure that they used on our full bodies was just right. The massage on the back was my favorite part but they left no limb behind! They ended it off with really nice temperature hot stones on the back which was actually very soothing and our first time trying anything like that before! Please read to learn how this was the worst spa/massage place I have ever been to... I tried reaching out to Wellness Foot Spa directly and they have been silent. The entire experience was so terrible that my husband and I were counting down the minutes until the couples massage was over. I should have realized all the red flags especially when the receptionist requested I pay in cash to obtain the flat rate they were offering, and that I pay before our service even began. Fully in cash. I frequent massages every few months, and I decided to try Wellness Foot Spa after seeing the positive reviews. I made an appointment for a 90 min couples massage and confirmed with them that it would be in a private room. However, this was not the case. Upon arrival, I was told by the receptionist she gave away the private room to someone else and we would only have it for a portion of our massage. Confused by this, I asked what we were supposed to do for the rest of our massage as I fully paid for a 90 minute couples massage in a private room. She told me that the majority of our massage would now be in the open space. I should have walked out right there. I assumed this would be okay, but it made for the most terrible experience we had ever endured. My husband was told to take his shirt off right in the open space without being given any sort of privacy. We were not even allowed the option to change in private, so whatever outfit we were in is what we were about to have our massages in. Both of our male masseuses' were incredibly rude and rough. They used their elbows during the massage, and each time we asked them to please go softer, they continued to be just as rough. This left us both with such an incredible amount of pain for the next 3 days. As we were laying in the completely open space, there was zero chance of being able to relax. The entire time we were there, all we could hear was the constant sound of the wood ottomans being shuffled around, water being dumped in and out of the foot bins, and the staff speaking to each other. When the open space portion of the massage was over and we went to the private space, the male masseuses' stayed in the room and told us to just lay face down. I assumed a private room would mean we would have the option to change, but no, this was not the case. Before my husband laid down, he was told to go get his things from the other room, so now he is walking around the open space without a shirt on where there are other customers and staff present. This not only made him feel uncomfortable but also everyone else around. Once we laid down, things only continued to get terribly worse. The masseuse asks me to pull up my tank top and then I felt incredibly violated as he then decided to lower my bottoms himself so he could do my lower back. I was so shocked by this personal violation and it was outrageously clear at this moment that these masseuses were not actually trained masseuses. As soon as our 'massages' were over, we left immediately. I hope this review can save someone else from an uncomfortable, terribly violating massage and huge waste of money. read more

Got the 90 mins couple massage and it was definitely worth it. I got "deep" and the massage was painful, but in a good way. My masseuse knew what he was doing because he got rid of all the knots within my shoulder blades and traps. By the end of the massage, I basically fell asleep because it was do relaxing. I am definitely coming back with in the near future. When I go back next time, I would personally not do the full body anymore because my feet is ticklish. Besides that, the head, arms, legs and backs where 10/10!
