My friends and I generally frequent the Peppermill spa, but recently we were looking to do a spa day and thought we'd try something different out for once! Unfortunately, we were not thrilled with our experience here. We all arrived well over an hour prior to our appointments to get the paperwork filled out, check in, and get settled. The staff wasn't very welcoming and they acted as though it was an inconvenience for them to have to deal with us. We were eventually shown into the spa and assigned lockers, which they made us share. We crammed our stuff into our lockers in preparation for our spa tour, but it never came. We were only told where to meet our treatment specialists, but never shown around the rest of the spa or told everything they offer. When it was time for my treatment, I was greeted warmly by Susan. She was very comforting, opposed to the rest of the spa staff. I received a 60 minute Lomi Lomi massage from her, and although I was anticipating a little bit more pressure, the Lomi Lomi was a very relaxing and spiritual experience. I wouldn't recommend it for deeper muscle relaxation though. Despite, the customer service, the rest of the spa was very nice and I actually enjoyed the separate rooms a lot better than most spas I've been to in the past. My boyfriend and I had the most AMAZING time here at the spa. Our appointment was at 6:45pm and we arrived early around 3:30 to enjoy the other treatment rooms. Now this might've been a little too early but we didn't mind because we had nothing else to do! I would recommend going back an hour and a half to two hours before your appointment. First impressions, the place was super nice and clean. It's right next to the hotel pool but that didn't matter much to us because we stayed in the actual spa, even though you can use that pool as well. We were both brought into the locker rooms, the girls room was full of all sorts of stuff! They had hair care products, hot tools for your hair, lotions, scrubs... In the locker rooms are also a steam room and a sauna. There is also a tea room! We spent most of our time in the Co-Ed rooms. The sauna room with the hot tubs was our favorite! The Brine room and the other (can't remember the name but it's the hotter one) were both very relaxing as well. We ended our visit with a couples massage. Our masseuses were both very friendly and made the whole process comfortable and relaxing. It was our first time getting massages and we may now be hooked! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the scrubs in the ladies locker room weren't replenished so I didn't have the chance to use them but not that big of a deal! Before I give my review on our Spa Atlantis visit on June 14th 2021 I would like to give some advice to people who are new to Spa going so that they will not miss out on all the amenities that come with the price you pay for a luxury spa treatment or massage. Some wonder why the price seems so much higher than what one might pay for a massage in their local massage therapist "salon" compared to a full service spa. When you pay for any massage or treatment in a full service luxury spa you get all day use of the spa. If you show up just in time for your massage you have then missed out on all the extras that come with your treatment. You have then forfeited by your own choice all the things that the price of your treatment included. These amenities that your local massage therapist salon probably does not include with their much cheaper price are as follows.... Wonderful herbal steam rooms. Dry Saunas. One for each men's locker rooms and ladies. Using these are very beneficial to your massage or body wrap treatments because they loosen your mussels and hydrate your skin prior to your treatments which only enhance them. Doing these things after your massage or body wrap defeats the purpose. If your skin is totally hydrated your body wrap treatments will last longer. Himalayan salt inhalation room which is very beneficial to your sinuses and your skin. Pools and Jecuzzi, or whirl pools with jets. Some spas like Spa Atlantis have herbal scented showers that have special effects that include special lighting and water fall and rain effects. Lovely. Really really lovely. Complementary soft drinks, fruits and snacks and herbal essence flower or fruit waters. The most beautiful luxury packed men's and ladies locker rooms that provide you with every thing you can think of to shower. You don't need to bring any thing but yourself and your bathing suit. Rooms filled with cushy chairs and loungers that you can nap in or just "be" in total peace and quiet. Gardens and beautiful tranquil sites and sounds that fill all your senses with calm and wellness and feelings of good health. If you are going to pay the price then come in at least 2 or 3 hours before your treatment to enjoy the total package. Ask for a tour of the entire place first which, if they are doing their jobs right, are more than happy to give you. Now for my review of Spa Atlantis.... Believe it or not it was mine and my husband's first time ever going to a luxury full service spa. I had not ever even had a professional massage before this. We have decided we are going to spend one night in every resort in Reno that has a full service spa so we will know which is the best. We are a 3 hour drive from Reno and once a month we plan on spending a one night spa get away to treat ourselves. We began with the Atlantis resort. I booked us 2 weeks in advance. Its important you book well in advance because they stay booked up. Every one at the spa was so welcoming and professional and spent time with us and catered to our every need. I swear I felt like royalty. They gave each of us a full tour. A man took my husband to the men's locker room and lady took me to the ladies and showed me every thing and was even patient with an old lady like me who has to be told things more than once before she understands or remembers. We came in 3 hours before our treatments because we wanted to enjoy it all. And my therapist who gave me my massage and body wrap was like an angel from Heaven! I swear she has healing powers in her hands! She was also very helpful and educating me on how to keep my treatment in my skin longer. I got the milk and honey body wrap and a Swedish massage. I was cocooned in a wrap and left to float in this water bed bath while she massaged my face and head. And I have always been so shy about being naked but she had this way of taking that all out of me and she draped me with the covers so well so she could do the treatment with out me feeling shy! These people really know what they are doing! Highly trained in their art and craft! I swear I was still floating in Spa Heaven for days after I came back home! My husband, who is a person who is hardly impressed by any thing in this world and who is basically a grouch most of the time, loved his deep tissue massage. Absolutely loved and raved about it! We are hooked! We are now spa goers. We are booked at the Pepper mill resort at the end of July. Booked at their spa too. I hope its as wonderful as Spa Atlantis was. I told my husband he can go play the slots if he wants to but just as soon as we get to the resort I'm heading straight for the spa and spending the whole day there. And just to add if you have not fallen asleep by now reading this very long review, our entire visit at Atlantis Resort in Reno was fantastic. A host of grooming supplies are available next to the multi faucet showers. Grab a towel and feel free to indulge yourself inside the Eucalyptus Steam Room and dry Sauna. The spa offers your expected mani/pedi, facial and massage options. Where this place stands out for me is the addition of a Salt Brine Room, a Warm Relaxation Room, and a second pool area accompanied by a shower that will simulate a storm, warm rain or a cold most. Spa water of different flavors line the walls and the gym is clean and up to date with modern equipment and definitely worthy of extensive use. I can go on for days. If you are coming for a relaxing day to hang with girlfriends, have lunch and maybe a mimosa or two, I would NOT suggest the Atlantis. When we called ahead to find out about our lunnch options they recommended the pool that is next to the spa. It was a family friendly pool, so very loud and the service was terrible. You had to pick up a phone to place an order (in a very loud area) and then wait about 30 minutes for 1 drink & simple apps. Then the servers were annoyed when you asked for anything additional. It took my friend 40 minutes to have her credit card run for 1 drink. I had the dead salt sea scrub which I felt I could have done the same for myself. The provider and other staff was lovely, but I won't be returning to this spa. read more

This is based off of my interaction with the Spa manager today, I should have written down his name. I received a Pure Fiji body lotion for Christmas, from my parents. They bought it from the Spa at the Atlantis. Since it was a gift, I was not given a receipt. The lotion scent was too strong, and I wanted to return this for $30.00 and pay the extra for the body scrub, which is $50.00 in another scent. I just got this for Christmas, so I literally had this one day. I was told that they wouldn't do an exchange without the receipt. I asked if the manager could possibly look up my parent's account to retrieve this information and was told no. So I called my Mom, and she asked to talk to a manager. It was the same gentleman, I just talked To. My parents spend an ungodly amount of money at the Atlantis so I know that their spa account is tied into their players account. Funny, how after she got on the phone, he was "magically" able to retrieve the receipt and exchange the item for me. I didn't have to pay the $20.00 difference, as my Mom had them use her players comps. To authorize that took a 30 second phone call to VIP. I understand they have policies in place, but I don't know why this manager was so unwilling to actually go above the normal policy. He must have been really inconvenienced to look up a receipt through another channel and assist a paying customer. Which took like a three minute phone conversation. read more

My fiancé and I went to the spa for the Rasul treatment for a post vacation treat. The treatment we had was made for a couple where you got to go into a steam filled chamber and exfoliate with different types of mud from all over the world. The treatment was $140 for both of us, plus a 15% locals discount and it included spa access for the whole day! The various rooms they have in the spa are so easy to spend hours in and make for a very relaxing day. I've been wanting to check out Spa Atlantis for about a year now, but I could never justify the expense because the locals' discount offered by their number one competitor makes my money go much farther than it does at Atlantis... Let's start with the good. I must say that this spa is exceptionally well-kept! There was literally someone cleaning up the locker room and spa area every hour. The staff is friendly and young, but very professional. I don't know how Atlantis does it, but their service is always top-notch, and the spa is no exception! Spa Atlantis also offers some unique treatments that cannot be found elsewhere in town. I am no stranger to massages and facials, but the Rasul Ceremony I did today was a first. You can do it alone or with a partner, though I think with a partner is better. After a shower to open up your pores, Spa Atlantis provides the ingredients for an exfoliant mask for you to apply to your whole body as you sit on your very own throne in a private steam room, breathe in the vapors, and let the body masque do its magic. The Rasul Chamber is timed, so all you need to do it periodically scrub in that masque and let the steam room do its work. A warm rinsing shower begins automatically in the steam chamber, notifying you that the ritual is at a close. One more rinsing shower, and you're done! Paula, my hostess, was wonderful and anticipated all of my needs to ensure I had a wonderful experience. And she totally had my back (pun intended) when it came to applying the masque to parts of my body I could not reach. The Rasul Ceremony is a fun, unique experience that leaves your body silky smooth, and I highly recommend giving it a shot! I also love the Rosemary Mint Aveda products Spa Atlantis provides in their showers. Towels, baby powder, and hairspray are a-plenty, but I was surprised to not find any body lotion or combs to help you fix yourself up after showering. While you can't order food to be delivered directly to the spa, you can order food/cocktails at the nearby pool. The food menu has many more options than other casino spas, but I wish Atlantis included foodv& drinks w/their locals discount. At the end of the day though, Spa Atlantis is too small for their high prices. You can hear everyone's conversations around you, and while I'm glad they keep up on housekeeping, there is a constant loud noise coming from staff cleaning the locker room. I got lucky today because the pool was nice and quiet, but I really wish Spa Atlantis had its own pool. I lucked out today, but sharing pools filled with excited, splashing kiddos would definitely ruin my mellow. I'm also surprised that Spa Atlantis doesn't not provide sunscreen for spa visitors... This is a great spa, but definitely not my fave. Too much money for too little peace and quiet. I shudder to think what this place would be like on the weekend, with all the seats occupied. I'm glad I finally checked it out and I may bring the hubby back for a couples' Rasul Ceremony, but my heart and wallet are tied to that *other* famed casino spa. No contest! read more

This is a review for the spa only. I was curious how it differed from the Peppermill's spa. Both were very good and each offered something the other didn't. Highlights here: Very luxe feeling. Lovely, gentle staff (Jordan did my salt scrub and she was delightful) Tea room inside ladies area was small - only seats for 5 Bit convoluted to get to the different areas; i.e. from the dressing room you have to go through reception to get to the pools Ask for a local's discount - worth 15%. Total cost for the salt scrub with a generous tip and with the locals discount was about $100. You can order food for delivery at the inside pool (wait can be long - an hour, in our case) Kids were in the inside pool - a bit noisy and splashy Only got to try to the herb room which I wish I spent more time in I still can't decide which I like more, so this means I have to go back to both and research more. This is a day spa to be reckoned with! I didn't even have a massage, paid $60 just for the pleasure of using the facilities, and considered the money to be well spent. Besides being gorgeous in decor and comfort, the spa at Atlantis offers many somewhat unique ways to pamper oneself. There is the Laconium Relaxation Lounge in which one wrapped in the elaborate two-colored robe provided can ease back muscles and just reflect while reclining on a heated lounge. And, the Brine Inhalation Therapy Room, where a person can watch brine crystals change color while reclining on a well-padded lounge. Outside on the roof of the hotel, there are more comfortable lounges with latticed fabric covers overhead to offer some shelter from the sun's strong rays. A cold plunge and a warm spa and a hot spa are situated directly in front of the lounges. These are not your typical whirlpool spas! Each has an optional waterfall feature that can be dialed on or off. When on, a wide arc of water cascades downward in a predictable line so that a bather can maneuver his or her body in such a way that both the chest and back, or just the back, can weather some of the impact. It is of course also possible to remain in the spa and be completely out of range of the waterfall. Jets abound, including a couple at ankle and wrist level. This experience was relaxing and stimulating at the same time, and I spent well over half an hour immersed in the swirling waters. Even more dazzling was the Nature Experiential Shower just beyond the spas. In this door-less but walled individual shower, one can dial up a torrential Thunderstorm, Tropical Rain, Waterfall, or Ice Fog, and that is what you will get! The Thunderstorm setting comes with sounds of thunder, and the Ice Fog is accompanied by blasts of trumpets that sound like that of heralds welcoming the arrival of their king. No body wash or shampoo are present, for this shower is not for cleaning. It is for washing off chlorine while enjoying immersion in various manifestations of water. I spent a good 15 minutes in this novel shower. Everything described thus far is situated in the coed areas of the spa, which is great, because for double the price, these restful features can be enjoyed with a spouse, as Diane and I did. Then, after 2 hours, we split up to independently sample the offerings of the separate Men's and Women's sections of the spa. Here, besides dressing and grooming areas, one will find a Tea Room, a large Herbal Steam Room, and a Cedarwood Sauna. The steam room, which was all polished stone, looked lovely but only spat out steam in short, quite intermittent bursts. I found the all-wood sauna to be much more inviting and productive, with sustained heat and muscle soothing boards on which to sit, lay, or press back upon. Since my Casio solar-powered G-Shock sport watch chose to go blank while I was inside the sauna, I lost track of how long I remained in there. At the end of my third hour at the spa, I entered a fully functional, multi-headed shower that had features I never did totally figure out. Water temperature often automatically alternated between hot and cool. Perhaps the oddest thing is that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were all rosemary mint. And, the mint was noticeable enough that I imagined that when I left the spa I smelled like an elf with a wreath fashioned with minty candy canes resting on my hair. Next time I will add a massage, and perhaps bring my own shampoo and body wash! read more

The spa is lovely. I've visited the Atlantis Spa twice in the past 2 months, but I am actually writing this review to correct false statements on a few other people's reviews. The spa DOES have it's own private pool. It has a lukewarm pool, a hot tub, and a cold plunge. There are also brushes and combs in the locker room in a jar soaked in an antibacterial solution next to the swim suit dryer. I think before people review, they need to request a tour from the staff and ask questions rather then make false claims. I had a Hot Stone massage and came back for the Rasul Ceremony. Both were spectacular. The spa is clean, staff is professional, and there are plenty of water stations throughout the spa. I've frequented many spas and this is in line with the many 5 star spas I have had the pleasure of receiving treatment from. I would also like to add that it is distasteful and unclassy to take and post pictures of other people at the spa. The spa has a no cell phone policy, however, you may carry it in your robe to check emails at the pool area if necessary. read more

I love the Spa Atlantis! I have been here about 15-20 times over the years. At one point I was coming here on a monthly basis until I realized I'm not wealthy #treatyoself. Anyway, the spa amenities and services are top notch. I have had various facials, massages, and body wrap experiences, and all have been excellent. Although some of the services can be quite pricey, the fact that you get to spend the whole day there from 9am to 9pm and relax in the many relaxation rooms (brine inhalation room, heated mermaid room as I call it, cedar wood sauna, etc) and sauna pools, drink copious amounts of fruit and herb flavored waters, order lunch and cocktails poolside (I highly recommend the sangria), workout at the well equipped gym, and take a long, hot rainfall shower with like 7 shower heads and Aveda products, is super worth it IMO. Also the customer service here is fantastic and even though they are often booked up and it can be difficult to get in for an appointment just call and they usually can work something out. I was recently booked for a 30-min Swedish on my last visit, which was a super last minute app, and it isn't even on the spa menu--they just squeezed me in. My absolute favorite spa service is the Cleopatra milk and honey body wrap on the hammam water table. Lemme just give you the low down on this experience because it is srsly ahmazing. First, #protip when you make your appointment for this body wrap request the hammam water table room! Also, #secondprotip hang out in the cedar sauna for a good 10-15 mins before your appointment so your skin soaks up all that milk and honey real good. Ok, onto the spa experience... Imagine being escorted to a relaxing, dim lit room with its own water fall feature with enya-esque music playing, and then laying down on what is known as a hammam water table (basically a flat bath tub) and being rubbed down with a coarse sugar scrub and then literally bathed by hand as the masseuse rinses off said sugar scrub and then proceeds to coat your now raw skin with a thick slather of milk & honey mixture. After you are good and coated and feeling sorta like a stick of butter, you are then placed into the soft pack body wrap experience which your masseuse may or may not tell you was developed by NASA. As you lay on the flat as a board table, your body is encased in plastic sheeting (basically you are saran wrapped butter at this point), and then a heavy weighted blanket is placed on top of you. The masseuse then pushes a button and voila! The board you were previously awkwardly laying on because it's very hard disappears and you drop into a weightless bowl of water (basically a water bed). Your masseuse then gives you a scalp, face and shoulder massage while you lay floating in an ocean unable to move (literally cos the saran wrap), before leaving you lie motionless for a 20 minute snooze. Then, just as you enter REM you are calmly awoken by the sound of rain, as your masseuse shakes a rain stick in the air above you, marking then end of your ahmazing Spa Atlantis body wrap experience. While my massage was excellent the service after was anything but. I had booked a spa treatment using a giftcard my fiancé purchased. However, when going to pay, I was informed there was no money on the card (which had yet to be used). The attendant could confirm that my fiancé did in fact purchase a $200 giftcard but they stated there was nothing they could do. They took down the card number. I have followed up multiple times. It has been almost 2 weeks with no updates or resolution. This is very concerning and shows how they view their clients. read more

I finally stayed here after receiving 2 complimentary nights. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms were nice...had a great view of the pool. Everything was clean and I thought the 2 free bottles of water were a nice touch. The beds were comfy...if you look by the tv, there's a little sign there which offers a bunch of different types of pillows depending upon your sleeping needs. Really nice touch although we didn't use it... The people working there are super friendly from housekeeping to the front desk. My only complaint is...why doesn't their cafe serve any Asian food? Every casino has 24 hour chinese food! Haha. Well, although the Asian food served at most casinos are of mediocre standards, sometimes you just want some junky chow mein. Sydney just gave me the best massage I have ever had .. EVER! The entire experience was a delight .

My husband and I came on a Tuesday afternoon for a couples infinity soak and massage. The package describes the service as a 90 minute massage followed by a 20 minute soak in a tub. 110 minutes. Our service started at 3:15 and ended at 4:50. I count 95 minutes total service when the package described it as 110. The service started out with the bath which was fine, the tub is just barely big enough for two and would be much more comfortable for one. (We are not large people either). The therapist had told us she would knock when it was time to get out of the bath and onto the beds, but she partially opened the door instead. She also said we would have a few minutes to dry off but then tried to enter a minute later, we felt a bit rushed trying to dry off thoroughly before climbing onto the bed. Next was our massages, which were just okay. My therapist started at my feet and worked her way up ending with a scalp massage, which I always find odd, why not just start at the head and end at the feet? The massage was Swedish which is light pressure but this was like just having oil rubbed into the skin for an hour, not extremely relaxing like other massages we have received. (Even Swedish ones). My therapist claimed to have allergies and I really hope it was just allergies because we could hear her breathing heavy the entire massage. I really hope my husband didn't just pay over $400 for me to get sick! My husband was a bit disappointed in the pressure of the massage, and at one point the bed was positioned so low that his hands were touching the ground. All in all very unusual and we were a little disappointed in our experience. The rest of the spa is okay, a little cramped inside the women's locker area, we found it hard to find a seat in the jacuzzi area, the only available seating in the brine room was on the benches... all in all it was just very cramped. The jacuzzi tubs need some deep cleaning as you can see the mold starting to grow in the corners. The showers were very nice, the aveda amenities were awesome, the rosemary mint is very nice. Once the spa wasn't quite so busy, the herbal steam room was a nice retreat. The different flavors of spa water were very nice as well. Spa Atlantis is great for facials, massages and body wraps, I've been a client for years however since they recently moved the waxing area to the salon AVOID AVOID AVOID! The wax isn't monitored and my face almost caught fire, the lady was apologetic but too late I'm burnt. I paid the $20 upgrade for a collagen mask and the technician applied the mask, let it rest for 1 min then removed.... huh? Much needed day of relaxation. We planned a mother/daughter day to unwind from the day to day grind. We each booked a scrub with an extra 30min massage. We arrived at 8 AM, and we were greeted by friendly staff. We were escorted back to the locker rooms and get in robes and shoes. The locker rooms had an aromatherapy steam, sauna, fully stocked showers with Aveda products, a changing room, and a tea lounge to wait to be escorted to your treatments. I was called back promptly by my service technician and escorted to a beautiful room. She went over the basics of the treatment. The treatment itself was divine: it started with a scrub all over front and back in which she then had me go into the shower inside the room and rinse off. Then I went to a different water bed table where she put a mask on and you are submerged in water bed and wrapped- it sounds crazy but it was amazing! From there I took another shower and then went back to massage table for 30 minute massage. When you book a treatment, you get full day use of all the facility has to offer. We headed to the pool area because you're able to order drinks and food to be delivered there. After our snack we went to the different rooms, there is a salt room for relaxation, sauna, world pools, and experimental shower. Throughout the hallways there are different infused waters you can sample. I prefer facials over full body massages, and I find the Atlantis therapists and facial options to be the best in Reno. Next to Mandara Spas, I would rate them number two all time when compared to the approximately 22 facials in six different facilities I've visited in 3 different states and 3 different countries. Pricing is inline with the service level and ambience of the treatment rooms. I only refrain from providing an overall 5 star rating for the spa due to the limitations of space in co-ed areas. The brine inhalation room's lighting, sound effects and padded loungers are perfectly designed for relaxation when guests are following spa etiquette to speak in a whisper. The room is also configured with tiled bench seating to best utilize the limited space. Unfortunately, it is not comfortable regardless if you use towels for seating for neck rolls. There is also a Laconium Relaxation lounge that is designed again with the tiled bench seating. Since it tends to amplify people's voices, it would be better served as a steam room. It is worth noting that the women's private facilities are very well designed, constantly clean and relaxing. If there was an option, 4.5 stars would be my choice. read more

BEST SPA DAY EVER. Full Disclaimer: I'm going to be honest and say that I have never been to a day spa so my experience is solely on a first timers experience. With a service, you get full access to the amenities that this spa offers. They were able to fit me in for a Lomi Lomi massage and I was thrilled since I was initially on the wait list. The massage was so pleasant and relaxing. She was able to relieve the tension in my lower back and shoulders. The scalp massage was also very nice and my hair smelled great with the coconut oil hair treatment. Now onto the spa! Upon entering, there's a tea room with beverages and snacks as you wait for your service. In the locker rooms there are pamper stations with hair dryers, curling irons, and on the side there are a few hair products (hair spray, heat protectant, gel). The shower area is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving lotion, and scrubs for you to freely use. The spa includes a lavender steam room, a Cedar-wood sauna, 3 relaxation rooms: a brine room, aqua lounge and light steam room. I absolutely loved all these areas but my favorite was probably the brine room. The brine room is very quiet and dark enough for you to take a nap. I also loved ALL the water stations within the spa with the infused water. This spa definitely was a great first experience and I will definitely be back again. read more

After a 2nd time here, long overdue. I can see why it's won the 4-Diamond award twice since out last visit. The facilities are first class and the masseuse this time was excellent. Sadly, being such a popular weekend, they only had 30-minute massages left and my gf and I had to go separately. In any case, what we did get in a half an hour was just as good as the longer massages we've had before. There are plenty of common areas to bond with your significant other, plenty of places to get various infused waters, and all of the locker room showers are well stocked with 3 different shower settings. I would highly recommend spending at least a half day here to fully decompress. This IS the best spa in Reno and you should milk it for every ounce. read more

I live in the Bay Area, Ca and the main reason I go to Reno is bc of this spa! Amazing! The customer service is always great! The place is never overcrowded. The prices are reasonable for the environment, service and the fact that u can stay and use the spa, pools & all the rooms all day! I love taking a nap in the salt crystal detoxifying room after my massage. I also take advantage of the sauna & steam room in the lockers are r fully equipped with everything a girl needs. I've been here several times, but I'll be back again & again. read more

Best SPA DAY! My husband and I came for our first anniversary to do a spa day. We got the couples massages, my husband got the Swedish massage with Carleen and I got the Lomi Lomi massage with Kimberly. They were both AMAZING! They both were very tentative to our needs and really listened to what areas we wanted extra work on, they were great! After our massages we spent a while in the Brine Room, this is a MUST after a massage. It was nice and warm, but not too hot, and the water feature gives such a calming affect. Made us doze off for a bit. We headed back to out locker rooms. I loved that they provide different scrubs to use in the shower, my favorite scrub is the lavender scrub! AMAZING! read more

My friends and I went to the Atlantis spa over the weekend. We would have had a 5 star time if it weren't for the lack of customer service provided by the staff. We got there over an hour early for all of our treatments and the staff acted as if we were a complete burden for them to get all of us set up. They asked us to share lockers. Which would have been fine, but when we asked for one more locker, they acted again as if we were a burden. We weren't offered a tour so we had no idea what was in the spa or where we could relax besides the locker room. After our first treatment, we asked for a tour, and the man giving the tour was completely unenthusiastic and again acted like we were a burden. After my first treatment at 11am, the masseuse mentioned how much I am going to like my next treatment which was at 3. After my last treatment she saw us walking down the hall and said, "Oh, you are STILL here?" Of course I'm still here, you knew that. After paying over a grand to have a relaxing day, I didn't expect everyone to have such a horrible attitude. All of my friends said they enjoyed their treatments and we all did have a relaxing day using the other services the spa offered. I just wish the staff was more genuine. I liked the Atlantis Spa more than the Peppermill in a few ways, like their therapy lounge is gorgeous and the herbal steam room is better than the Peppermill. But you have to share the pool with the hotel guests which isn't the worst thing, but the Atlantis pool is already too small for how large the hotel is, so we didn't even use the pool. We stayed in the aqua lounge, which also really cool, but not great if you'd like to cool off. Overall, great amenities but I probably won't be returning. read more

I like that the spa venue is small and offers access to saunas, pools, jacuzzis, salt rooms, and other features- the entire day of your stay. Book a massage at 2 and you can come early and use the other amenities until your appointment. Typically I don't expect a good deep tissue massage out of the spa vs. the medical massages I've gotten in the past. I was overwhelmingly surprised at the skills that and level of professionalism I experienced with massage therapist Shelby. I will definitely be back. Ive never had all the knots worked out of my shoulders in one session! I almost wanted to cry and actually hugged Her as I left. She was able to relieve pain and manipulate my shoulders in a manner which allowed my muscles to relax without tension. Shelby is amazing! Though I've been getting massages for years...
