We went to Pinnacle Spa for a friend's birthday and had the best experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The space is so unique, peaceful, and relaxing, and the team is incredibly knowledgeable. We enjoyed delicious food, champagne, and multiple juice options while spending the day there. There are so many wellness therapies to choose from with the group package. I chose the Feng Shui Steam Pod, added the hot coconut oil scalp massage, and did the Amethyst Biomat & Chi Machine. They have relocated to a larger building off Peckham close to Virginia St. A nice large parking lot and serene entry way with water features are new additions. The number of services offered have grown as well. I did the hand detox and the infrared sauna. She got a brand new sauna and it was more comfortable and has chromotherapy (I can only assume that is light therapy) You can select the colored light according to the chakra chart in which that specific color helps balance specific chakras. Pinnacle Wellness literally changed my life! I have Parkinson's and severe fibromyalgia...not a great combination. When I first came to Pinnacle in February I was 90% bed ridden and had to use a roller-walker even in my house. Kerrie (who is absolutely Amazing) started me on the Rife therapy machine and biomat/chi machine and I've been going twice a week since. My Movement Disorder Neurologist can't believe the improvement I've had. As far as the Fibromyalgia, instead of having maybe one good day a week I now have 1 bad day a week, if that. Lucky me, I was gifted my choice of 2 modalities at Pinnacle Wellness, and let me tell you, I was READY for some R&R. I had been jonesing for some spa relaxation pretty much during the whole COVID lockdown. Haven't we all? I called to make an appointment for Fri 3/5, and spoke to Kerri. She helped me select some treatments that worked well together. The location is easy to find and all together gorgeous inside, equal parts groovy and posh. The ambiance is holistic and healthy, and while it offers a relaxed and indulgent feel, this isn't some stuck-up hotel spa! This is about healing and wellness while taking care of yourself! Owner Kerri and daughter Kourtni are your welcoming guides for this experience, and they offer treatments not typically found at other spas. I chose to get shakin' in the chi machine, a sit-down siesta in the far infared sauna and added on the foot detox. More on that later.... The chi rocker was wonderful almost meditative, and helped ease some hip pain that have been bothering me for a long time. The far infrared sauna can me intense, but heat and time are adjustable, and be sure to stay hydrated! The foot detox is what rocked my day! I was not prepared to see so much yuck in that foot bath. Came here for the oxygen bar. The owner is a lovely lady who explained how the oxygen bar works along with the history and medicinal properties of silver which is infused in the oxygen. She's very kind and offered to give us a tour of the spa facilities after our treatment. I didn't know what to expect with the oxygen bar. I thought maybe I'd wear a mask that's connected to an oxygen tank similar to what one sees on TV. It's basically a machine with a water tank attached to it. You have a tube that connects the machine to you. It's very mild. At first I questioned its effectiveness but within 10 or so minutes you can feel the coolness from the air. I entered the spa feeling lethargic but I feel better as a result of the oxygen tank. The spa is relaxing with large comfy furniture, cool air, and peaceful music. I'd like to come back and try other treatments! read more

I went here for two treatments. They were scheduled at 11. I was in the parking lot waiting and two ladies opened up the business at 10:58. I filled out forms and at about 11:25 the lady in the front said that we were just waiting for the practioner. I said, "Oh she isn't here?" She said she was going to text her. It was already nearly 30 minutes past when it was supposed to start so I told her I had to go, I mean, she wasnt even there. The person at the front said I could choose a complimentary service from a flier so I was going to pick a massage. The massage girl called and apologized (said she thought it was Sunday, when it was Saturday) but said I could pick sauna or something of the like. I told her my understanding was that I could pick from the pamphlet. She said, "We have to get paid too." I asked her to have the manager call me. I also called the spa and left a message, no response. I would not recommend this place. It was a let down to go there, wait and for the practioner to not show up and to not give a complimentary treatment (not a sauna session) to make up for it. read more

A group of girlfriends went to this little gem in the middle of Reno to recharge and it was AMAZING! I used the vitamin D bed and came out feeling rested and even came out with a nice glow. We hung out in the salt room and you can feel the salt as you breathe it in and just repair your respiratory system... I felt like a kid on the beach just sinking my toes in the salt that is in the room. One more modality that was used was the Chi machine... didn't think I could feel energized and relaxed all at the same time. I can't believe I've driven by this beautiful spa every day for the past 12 years, and never knew it was there! We had a girls day for a friends birthday and Kerrie treated us like queens! She took the time to explain why she takes such pride in what she does! (AND WOW WHAT A STORY!) I entered the doors of this soothing place, and only wished my appointment was here. I had come through the wrong door in the right building! I was supposed to be at the dentist at the other side of the building, but given the slightest chance , I much would have preferred to stay at THIS business. I have searched long and hard to find alternative therapies and treatments here in Reno for a health condition which had been treated with toxin conventional medicine. I am imploring many different types of homeopathic treatments until I find the combination that works best for me. Pinnacle Wellness is a hidden gem in Reno! Kerri is so welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about natural healing and wellness. My boyfriend and I originally started going just for the foot/hand detox, but have now been going nearly every week for several months and have tried just about all of their modalities! We live in South Lake Tahoe and will sometimes drive to Reno just for a some relaxing time at Pinnacle. You will be amazed at what comes out of your body with the detox! Especially if you have a good workout or use the chi machine beforehand. Once you see (and smell, ewww) what it pulls out, you will be hooked! We almost always do a detox when we're there, but love so many of the modalities! The salt room is amaaaaazing! So peaceful and great for respiratory problems, skin problems and many other things. The chi machine with the jade mat is another favorite! Really helps with my lower back pain and the mat is nice and toasty-warm so I usually doze off. I also love the Feng Shui pod, which uses steam and aroma/sound therapy for a variety of programs, like "stress-relief", "rejuvenate", etc. The Vitamin D bed is great for gloomy winters. There's an oxygen bar with colloidal silver, great for overall immune support! There's even a sauna! There are so many different things to try, you could probably spend an entire day here, which is why we really love the punch-cards because it makes it all very easy and affordable and you can just pop in and use whatever is open. You can even book parties there, which I think would be so fun! Another benefit is she serves Blue Dot water, which is so yummy and refreshing, and you're in for a treat if you come on a day with the "Kerri Cocktail"! So good!! We are so thankful to have found this spot and to have discovered it while it's still a hidden gem.
