Out of respect for the rules, the other patrons, and the property, I did not take any photos of the inside of the space, but this place is gorgeous. The thoughtful design and boho chic aesthetic create a truly peaceful environment to relax in. For $25 per 2-hour session, you can enjoy two large saunas, cold showers, refreshing lemon water and herbal tea, and a calm, tranquil environment. One sauna is inside the building, which sits around 130 degrees, the day we visited, and the other is outside in an old, renovated Airstream trailer, which was closer to 180 degrees. Very cool use of the space. In between saunas, you can use a pull-chain cold shower and lounge outside on the patio or inside on a small tiled bench while enjoying some banana chips and ice-cold beverages. One thing to note- this place is quite small. It can get cramped at times, and during our visit, there were about 10 people at one point, which was too many for the space, especially in the winter when the patio is seldom used. They provide towels and shower amenities for when you're ready to clean up and head out. There is only one shower, and I was not able to get the water very hot. It's also open to the rest of the space, so you'll need to plan to shower in your bathing attire. None of this bothered me, but something to note. The changing area offers free electronic lockers, but again, there is only one small bathroom to change in, not ideal when it's busy. The whole space is co-ed, so there isn't really a way to work around this. Overall, the space is beautifully decorated, well-kept, extremely clean, and a great value. All of the employees were very nice, and they were working very hard to keep everything well-stocked and tidy. My wife and I enjoyed our time here, left feeling extremely relaxed, and I will certainly return. Thanks, Reno Sauna Club!

The water in the pool felt good and we really loved that there were some horses really close by on the other side of the tub area. We were able to watch them frolic and play which was so peaceful and enjoyable. We were provided drinking water and there was complimentary hot tea we could make near the front desk. We did the towel rental since they are not included. Even though it was a warm day in Reno, the hot spring water still felt great and there was shade over the pool, which was good. The cold plunge next to the hot tub didn't work, however there was a cold shower right next to it that was just as nice. I would definitely come back and use the outdoor spring hot tub. Hopefully the horses would be there again, that really added to the ambiance and experience.

I felt like melted butter when I retired to the tranquility room. I was surprised to see how busy it was for a Monday afternoon, but happy to see they steadily busy. We took advantage of the steam room, snacks, tea and a few amenities before calling it a day and returning to our families. Thank you Karla and to my bestie for such a sweet birthday gift. At first glance I was disappointed to see the previous deep egg-shaped chairs gone (I liked the privacy they provided from their depth), but within 5 minutes of laying in the new chairs I was already trying to maximize the amount of time I would let myself lay there! The massage features of these chairs are amazing and unlike any of the pokey/stabby massage chairs you might normally think of. The staff were lovely and the food and drinks were delightful. I will say, be careful about any receipts you sign during your visit for food and drink, they apply an auto-gratuity (which is fine), but still leave a large empty tip line, so it's easy to double-tip if you don't notice. They will ask again when you check out of the spa if you would like to leave an additional tip, so you may even triple-tip on accident. Note: The staff and spa are wonderful and deserve the tip, I am just speaking from a smart consumer stand point.

Michelle, when she responds at all to repeated inquiries regarding a faulty installation (18 months ago!) , she does so in monosyllables. As if she simply can't be bothered. Her colleague Jeri, who ostensibly schedules the service visits is scarcely better. We have been summarily back-burnered. Thus, the reviews you read here are very telling. Very telling indeed. I don't generally write bad reviews, but feel compelled to do so here in order that: A) By the grace of God, Scott takes some ownership of a situation that has involved the SmartTop manufacturer (who has sent parts repeatedly to Spa & Sauna), the manufacturer of the *struts* that the manufacturer sources, and Spa & Sauna themselves, and B) that you, dear reader, don't become the next poor schlub that has to deal with this retailer. We like to go early to enjoy the amenities and we enjoyed the hot tub area which was only for 21+ but the rest of the pool/hot tub areas were extremely loud with children. It was not at all a relaxing atmosphere with the screaming kids and getting splashed by them doing cannonballs into the pool. The locker area, salt and relaxing room were not as nice as Spa Toscana either. They also do not accept Spa Finder gift cards which is what we usually use for our spa trips as well. Not a bad experience and a good second option but we prefer the Peppermill!
