Rebecca saved my life! She was quick and kind when helping me locate my car. She helped me through the process of getting it back!

The other day, my mom (78 yrs old) and her sister (85 yrs old) had their car towed from a parking lot where they did not read the signs properly to see that the lot closed in the afternoon. It was their mistake, and very upsetting for two seniors, but what made it so much worse was the way they were treated at this business. Judging by some of the other reviews here, I see we were not the only ones that had a terrible experience with the girl at the front desk, who is probably also the one that answers the phone. I'm sure your job at the front desk is difficult and you have to deal with angry people all day. I used to be a claims adjuster so I completely understand how a job like this is very mentally taxing. However, your attitude and the way you treat these people can make the situation so much more stressful for them, and you also. I prided myself on being able to deescalate many contentious situations by simply showing an ounce of compassion - especially for someone who is older. I will just relay a small portion of what happened when I took them to pick up the car: The receptionist told my mom to go over to the gate and she would open it for her to go back and get her registration out of her car. We waited and waited at the gate. It took so long for her to open it, but at that point, I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she got distracted. When my mom paid and completed the paperwork, it became all to clear that she was purposely being difficult. She was on what sounded like a personal phone call. It was hard to tell if she was talking to my mom or the person she was on the phone with. She was sending a very clear message. Again, she said go over to the gate and I will open it so you can retrieve your car. She was still on the phone. Again, we stood in front of the gate and it was not opening. Many minutes went by. I was doing my best to be patient and to keep my mom and aunt patient. That is until I looked back over in the direction of the office and I see that she is now outside, leaning on the wall, on the phone. I went back in and got the attention of another girl farther back from the desk. I politely said "Excuse me, is someone going to open the gate for us?" Just then, the front desk girl was coming in the front door (presumably because she saw me go back in) and the other girl said, "Yes, someone will open it for you right now." And the front desk girl then opened the gate. I know I am going to get a computer generated cookie cutter response to this. Either you need to hire someone who has the necessary people skills to handle this public-facing position (and again, I know it is not an easy job), or you will continue to get bad reviews here. Maybe you don't care. My point again is that you can try to make things easier for yourself, and for others, by showing some compassion and helping them understand, or you can make things more difficult. It's a choice. read more

Joseph is the best!!! My friends car battery died and for hours we were having no luck getting help with a jump start and luckily I happened to notice his tow truck outside of the food place in the parking lot on the other side of where we were. I completely caught him off guard when he got into his truck to leave and asked him for help. Without hesitation he said ok and drove over to help us. Literally saved the day and night! Thank you again Joseph!! read more

Great people and David was super chill and helpful with me obtaining a my car . Will definitely be back !!!!

This isn't a business, it's a set-up. If you got towed by these people, lawyer up or bring a body cam to record throughout the process. My girlfriend got towed from a parking space even though she had a pass for assigned parking. Whoever towed the car was too lazy to switch sides and wore out the brakes in the process. If you get the tall, fat, and Easter-Island-Head looking lady, be ready to possibly wait multiple hours and endure a malicious and disrespectful attitude in case she decides to take her anger out on you for no good reason. They had eight drivers in the back and still took four-times longer than tow shops with half the crew size to send everyone to pick up their cars. They might even send people behind you in line ahead of you, just because they can. Don't let them hold your documents hostage, apparently the police are in bed with them and will side with them before anyone else. TLDR: 0/5, Pray that you'll stay away from this shady company. if you're a good person who works here, leave before you become contaminated. Everyone else there either needs proper training, therapy, or both. read more

These people on multiple occasions have unsafely sped through our neighborhood in their large towtrucks looking for someone to tow. Seems like the less victims they have, the faster they go. Wish they would stop before someone gets hurt. Notifying Tustin PD as well. read more

Was towed for car being parked in fire zone. Tow truck driver damaged the back tire and it deflated when sitting in tow yard for two days. The company tried to tell me I popped it and showed me picture they took of the car with the tire still inflated. Legal action is required if this company denies damages, they will not take responsibility. Please make sure you take pictures of your car and inspect it before taking your car out... hope this helps someone. read more

Had my car towed last night unfortunately because I forgot to put the parking permit in the car. Had to pay $418... oh well money comes and goes BUT they will open your car and get into it. I know for a fact my car was opened because a piece of the door is broken and I can hear wind going through while driving. Just be aware about this, they will say "We are not allowed to go into cars" etc... they are lying. I've seen another review on here saying the same thing. Good luck. read more

Got my car towed today, I am an employee at BJ at the block, there was no parking as an employee so I parked next door where I was towed. I have a car registered under my grandfathers name in which they needed an ID. My grandfather has DEMENTIA and cant walk. We explained it to the lady who worked at the front desk (12/21/2024) and pleaded if we can bring his ID. She said that she needed him there. We had to carry my ill grandfather from his bed where is bed ridden to the car. When taking him the man who had an orange beard and is bald said they didn't need to see him. Frustrated we were upset as we took my almost 90 year old grandfather for nothing , who is in pain and physically and mentally ill with dementia cancer etc(BEDRIDDEN) when voicing our concerns the man said "it is what it is". How unprofessional and disrespectful this place was. I worked my job then in turn had to fork over 393 to a scam which is mostly fees, to have my family and grandfather disrespected . Not cool. read more

Not sure why you're closed for lunch, yet I have to wait for the girl to finish chewing her nasty food before answering my question. And. Obviously people get their cars towed. Not a good enough reason to be mean to elderly. I just witnessed the staff be so mean, raise their voice at her.. Is it that hard to try to be emphatic. My gosh. read more

Predatory refuse to release car after police order it and ready to pay because they need to verify it's yours even though police already did new scratch on the car and drive train messed up, requires all these things just to stretch you out until 5 to get another 100 out of you workers are unhelpful and rude and think they are over the police read more

Carlos- Business Manager. That's not true. I called the Orange police department that day and I spoke to someone at the yard and was told that the tow driver drives around and takes pictures and comes back 1 hour later to see if the car is still there then they tow. It wasn't Carl's Jr it was the staff at the towing targeting to get paid. You probably made a killing that day. read more

The drivers drive like complete assholes and if they are pulling your car while driving like this guy in front of me on the freeway the odds of your car being more damaged from the tow are ridiculously high! Y'all need to teach your drivers the safe way to pull a car since this guys bobbing and weaving through traffic cutting people off while towing a car read more

This company "accidentally" towed my guests car from my own apartment complex. A paid parking spot that I pay for. When I called to retrieve it, a woman with the nastiest, ugliest attitude got on the phone with a disgusting power trip. This company will tow ANYBODY without authorization, without doing their due-diligence, and then hassle the hell out of you to get your car back. Not to mention they broke pieces of my guests car. Unbelievable. Too bad there's no negative stars to give out. read more

I hate the situation. I mean who enjoys waking up and getting their car towed? That being said, they did the job they were hired for. You can't be mad them for that. Anyhow, we gave them a call, they informed us they had the car. Once off work showed up after hours without an appointment, Driver #99 David took great care of us. Was expecting a horrible long experience. Just quite the opposite, he was very polite and understanding. His fast and professional service had us in and out less than 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it, I actually had a descent time at the impound where my car was towed. Go figure! I hope your car never gets towed and impounded but if it does, you will be lucky to have it at Southside Towing read more

Southside Towing - Towing Near Me - Orange, California

My car was towed from the apartment complex where I live, because I forgot to display a parking pass. My own fault. Called Orange PD, and they verified that South Side Towing was the company to call and reclaim my car. When I called the tow company, the lady on the phone was very clear, informative, and helpful. I was a little anxious as my car has never been towed before and I was calling very close to their closing time (5pm). She kindly explained in some cases, there are less fees if you pickup next day, in comparison to after closing. This is because there is a steep gate fee applied when you pickup after closing. When I went to pickup my car, the lady at the window was very kind and professional. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she has an Arabic tattoo on her forearm. She was really quick. From the time I arrived, she collected my info, finished paperwork, and I was able to retrieve my car behind the gated lot within 15 mins. I did not have my registration on me, so I brought my car title and that wasn't an issue. Once she finished paperwork and I paid, I stood by the gate and a man helped me find my car and let me out. Easy peasy read more

Zero stars!! Horrible place taking advantage of elderly waiting for their prescriptions at CVS. If you have been a victim, report them to the Better Business Bureau. They lied, saying the manager calls them when my friend is the manager saying they don't. They drive around every hour and take cars parked there an hour. The signs don't have a time limit. it just says no overnight parking. Warning: If you are waiting for a prescription a while, keep checking that your car isn't tired by the awful people. read more
