We had a vehicle with a handicap placard up in a handicap parking spot. The business had the vehicle towed by this tow yard. We paid $570.00 to get the vehicle out after 1 hr in the yard. I tried to explain based on Code Section 22511.5 per the California state law there is no time limit in a public or private handicap spot for individuals. The girl was rude and not interested in the law of ADA. Unfortunately we have had to get local police involved and they are helping to recover the money based on an unauthorized tow. Unfortunately people who do not know Ca ADA codes work at these types of places. This could have been handled more professionally and avoided this situation. Please know the law before making assumptions and causing unnecessary issues. This should be ZERO stars. read more

While I was separating from the military my car broke down on the side of the road and was towed by CHP overnight. CHP took forever to tell me where my car was and by that time it was too late $700 removal fee for a broken car and I didn't have any money or time to with a broken vehicle, not too mention everyone I talked to CEO,Managers only showed care for the money. I was told there was nothing I could do. Now a year later debt collectors are hounding me to collect $9,700 in storage fees. So I'm in a worse situation with even more debt. read more

The manager Hailey Carmona was extremely rude and combative not only that but also eating while speaking to me. After retrieving my vehicle this Hailey started to contact me from her personal phone. She has called 2 times on a Sunday and 7 times this on 01/31/24 within a 3 minute period and also contacted my apartments threatening me. I have had to take time from work to file a police report and file a restraining order against this person. The other day, my mom (78 yrs old) and her sister (85 yrs old) had their car towed from a parking lot where they did not read the signs properly to see that the lot closed in the afternoon. It was their mistake, and very upsetting for two seniors, but what made it so much worse was the way they were treated at this business. Judging by some of the other reviews here, I see we were not the only ones that had a terrible experience with the girl at the front desk, who is probably also the one that answers the phone. I'm sure your job at the front desk is difficult and you have to deal with angry people all day. I used to be a claims adjuster so I completely understand how a job like this is very mentally taxing. However, your attitude and the way you treat these people can make the situation so much more stressful for them, and you also. I prided myself on being able to deescalate many contentious situations by simply showing an ounce of compassion - especially for someone who is older. I will just relay a small portion of what happened when I took them to pick up the car: The receptionist told my mom to go over to the gate and she would open it for her to go back and get her registration out of her car. We waited and waited at the gate. It took so long for her to open it, but at that point, I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she got distracted. When my mom paid and completed the paperwork, it became all to clear that she was purposely being difficult. She was on what sounded like a personal phone call. It was hard to tell if she was talking to my mom or the person she was on the phone with. She was sending a very clear message. Again, she said go over to the gate and I will open it so you can retrieve your car. She was still on the phone. Again, we stood in front of the gate and it was not opening. Many minutes went by. I was doing my best to be patient and to keep my mom and aunt patient. That is until I looked back over in the direction of the office and I see that she is now outside, leaning on the wall, on the phone. I went back in and got the attention of another girl farther back from the desk. I politely said "Excuse me, is someone going to open the gate for us?" Just then, the front desk girl was coming in the front door (presumably because she saw me go back in) and the other girl said, "Yes, someone will open it for you right now." And the front desk girl then opened the gate. I know I am going to get a computer generated cookie cutter response to this. Either you need to hire someone who has the necessary people skills to handle this public-facing position (and again, I know it is not an easy job), or you will continue to get bad reviews here. Maybe you don't care. My point again is that you can try to make things easier for yourself, and for others, by showing some compassion and helping them understand, or you can make things more difficult. It's a choice. read more

I wonder how my review was removed as I too as a victim of their fraudulent activity. Unfortunately got them, they believe I will let this sit on a back burner like every other viticim. Little do they know, there is lawsuit pending including my time and level of distress partaken by their irresponsibility. We were driving on a rainy day and the car hit a big puddle on the road and lost control. The vehicle spun out of control, and ended up hitting the wall along several other cars that had also hit the wall. The police arrived and seeing that the car was not safe to drive, they asked if I needed a towing service. The officer informed me that the towing should be free and I didn't have to call my AAA, so the officer called the towing company on my behalf. When the towing company arrived, they told me that they could only tow my car to their towing location, and any other location would incur charges. Despite having AAA, the driver and the police informed the charges are covered. However, when they had my car at their location, they charged not only towing fees but also charged me a storage fee, even though I never asked for my car to be stored. I felt confused and frustrated and asked to speak to the manager. However, they lied about informing me of all the charges, which the driver never did. My insurance told me that they only cover the towing fee if they called the towing company on my behalf. The manager informed me that they're contracted with the police department so these fees are mandatory. Despite initially being told that the towing service would be free, the company added charges, leaving me feeling disappointed and let down. You never know when an accident might happen, and you rely on the honesty and transparency of others to help you through those tough times. In this case, it felt like the towing company was taking advantage of my situation and not treating me with the respect and transparency that I deserved. It's important to remember that in a tough world, honesty and integrity are still essential qualities to strive for. read more

Got my car towed today, I am an employee at BJ at the block, there was no parking as an employee so I parked next door where I was towed. I have a car registered under my grandfathers name in which they needed an ID. My grandfather has DEMENTIA and cant walk. We explained it to the lady who worked at the front desk (12/21/2024) and pleaded if we can bring his ID. She said that she needed him there. We had to carry my ill grandfather from his bed where is bed ridden to the car. When taking him the man who had an orange beard and is bald said they didn't need to see him. Frustrated we were upset as we took my almost 90 year old grandfather for nothing , who is in pain and physically and mentally ill with dementia cancer etc(BEDRIDDEN) when voicing our concerns the man said "it is what it is". Was towed for car being parked in fire zone. Tow truck driver damaged the back tire and it deflated when sitting in tow yard for two days. The company tried to tell me I popped it and showed me picture they took of the car with the tire still inflated. Legal action is required if this company denies damages, they will not take responsibility. Had my car towed last night unfortunately because I forgot to put the parking permit in the car. Had to pay $418... oh well money comes and goes BUT they will open your car and get into it. I know for a fact my car was opened because a piece of the door is broken and I can hear wind going through while driving.
