BEWARE!!!!! Of Southside Towing !!!They damaged my 2025 Lexus and refused to take responsibility even though I have video and pictures to prove that they were the cause of the damage to my vehicle. Cost me over $2500 out of my own pocket to fix it and they were very unprofessional .When loading my vehicle they pulled my car up at such an incline damaging my muffler and two lower points on my bumper and the driver new he messed up cause upon unloading my vehicle he used ramps so the tow truck bed wouldn't be so inclined and the damage would not occur again when he dropped the vehicle off .I couldn't even get a call back for the majority of the time to try to work this situation out! They are a thug. It just way too expensive. For towing of my car from my uncle's senior apartment and keeping it there for little more than two hours, they decide to charge me $590. It is a legalized robbery. They had like a three different prices and they apply the most expensive rate on my car. I don't know why the guy was saying that it's the insurance company who's making money . does not make any sense. He said they only making $25 of each towing. I say it's a BS. read more

After trying one other towing company that failed to help or get the job done, Jacob came to the rescue. I got into an incident where my car went over a curb and the driver side tire was completely rotated leaving my car stuck and non-drivable. He was exceptionally skilled and crafted at getting my car out of the divider and onto the dolley where he safely towed it to an auto repair shop. And best of all, no additional damage was inflicted. The towing that took place to tow my car completely screwed up my alignment. The day I got my vehicle back from the impound i knew something was wrong as soon as I began to drive off the lot. My wheel became extremely hard to control and steer and my wheel wobbles uncontrollably when i brake. My car completely steers left and it takes a great amount of force to keep the wheel straight when driving. If i take my hands off the wheel for even a split second my car begins to swerve left. I called the company same day i got my car back and the employee over the phone explained to me that someone should get back to me the same day, which was a Friday, but if not Friday then monday. Considering the severity and danger of this situation I would have expected them to reach out to me ASAP to try to fix this but I still have not received a response. read more

Moreover, my car was towed on the grounds that my parking permit was "not displayed"--even though it was clearly present inside the car. In other words, my car was towed based on the false presumption that I did not have a valid parking permit, when in fact I did. This is absolutely ridiculous. They towed my car today and I told them I'd like to pick my car up asap. They said it's by appointment only. I have a Tesla so it has cameras they had my car at the lot already and didn't want to release it when I called them. The guy who towed my car tried to open my car twice!!!! I had to lock it through my Tesla app. They are so sketchy and weird.. horrible place terrible people and when I called they were so rude!!!! I called the police because they wouldn't release my car to me even though it was there and it wasn't busy! And once I got there they acted like they didn't know what their call center was talking about wtf?!!!!!so I'm looking at the footage that the Tesla recorded and the person that towed it tried to force the window open while it was locked this place is so sketchy fuxking ridiculous can't trust these people Response to David: why would you hold my vehicle until 5:30pm if there vehicle was already there at 4pm? I'm beyond furious with this so-called "business." On the Fourth of July, when the streets were packed, chaotic, and there was literally nowhere to park. They decided to tow my vehicle from in front of my own home. Yes, I'll admit I parked somewhere I technically wasn't supposed to, but let's be real -- it was a holiday, the roads were jammed, and it's not like I abandoned my car in a an a place that blocked traffic or prevented any movement. I live there. They towed it a mile away. One mile. And for that, they charged me $600. SIX. HUNDRED. FUCKING. DOLLARS. For a tow that barely went around the block. That's not just overpriced, that's extortion. From what I've gathered, this company mostly operates for the city. But instead of actually serving the community, they exploit technicalities, use public holidays to prey on people, and hide behind their contracts while bleeding residents dry. Their practices are shameless. They are not just inconsiderate -- they are predatory. This isn't a business. It's a trap. They don't care about your home, your situation, your holiday plans. They care about one thing: profit. What they did wasn't just unfair it was heinous, greedy, and frankly evil. I hope others see this and think twice before accepting this companies awful practices, supporting them and tolerating companies like this. After dealing with the police report and insurance over the last 24 hrs we were ready another hassle, but the service at Southside Towing couldn't have been better. They were considerate of our situation, helped with a paperwork issue that could have set us back another day, and we're accommodating to our time frame. They tried to overcharge me by $200 when my vehicle got towed. The posted prices and what they were trying to charge me weren't adding up and when I mentioned this to the employee, she tried to deny it. I insisted that she look at the posted prices and when she did, she also realized she was going to overcharge me by $200. She didn't even apologize. This place is full of scammers. It has had 13 complaints made against it through the Better Business Bureau. I would avoid at all costs. read more
