Came here for a breakfast date with my partner on a Monday morning which seemed surprisingly busy. They clearly do a lot of takeout on the weekdays, even though only a few tables were full. I'll say that the food was pretty good. I ordered a corned beef hash with a side of potatoes and everything was seasoned well and tasted pretty great. The only real issue was that the service was lacking, which I'm sure was partially because the servers were also trying to get food out for the exit orders and seemed stretched sort of thin. They didn't really acknowledge us much once our order was taken, which was kind of a bummer since the food was pretty good. I would probably come back, but not sure if I'd choose it first if there are other options. I don't live particularly close to it so I don't think this experience made me want to go out of my way to come here, but it was a good diner nonetheless. This place gets a 5 for consistency alone. I love that I get the same service, food quality, and prices everytime I go. This is a greek owned restaurant and the owner is typically there checking people out, he knows many customers by name.. yes, its that kind of place. Food- The greek salad and fresh pita bread is my favorite in the area. I also get the tuna melt which is nice and filling. I wish they stopped throwing around plastic straws like it was their job. Atmosphere- You're typical diner. Some TV's, some artwork, some barstools, a little outside seating. Crowded weekend mornings but they are efficient. We go to the petstore and pet kittens (and debate adopting) while we wait 10 or so minutes. Service- Always good. Always the same friendly staff who work hard. read more

We love that is is considered our local diner. They have amazing, friendly and attentive staff here! The food is delicious too. Breakfast on weekends are always packed, but once you are seated, the food comes out fairly quickly. We love going there on Wednesday nights as they have turkey dinners for a very reasonable price and it comes with all the fixings too! Chicken Gyros are delicious too. Greek salad never disappoints! I probably should've listened to what some of the other Yelpers said, but I thought I should decide for myself. Staff was nice when I came in and service was super fast. I ordered the veggie omelette with wheat toast. When it came out and I started to eat it, I noticed it was a bit watery. At first I thought maybe with all the veggies, some of the water came out of it as they were cooked. When I got to the thicker part of the omelette, it was obvious that the egg didn't cook properly in the middle. I waited for the waitress to come, but ultimately had to flag someone down. They brought it to the back and gave me a new one, but I could tell they thought I was full of it. To top it off, the AC condensation was leaking on my table, but I didn't want to say anything after saying something about the omelette. Would I come here again? Probably not, but I would tell others to give it a chance since it didn't seem all that bad. read more

This is a very classic diner that has everything you could ask for. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, large portions, good prices. After living in the area for 6 years we finally went here for the first time and really enjoyed it. While I opted for pancakes and eggs, my parents both got omelets. From seating to ordering to getting our meal, it only took about 30 minutes total. The service was great and friendly and the food was solid. This place gets very busy on weekends, I used to see people standing out side waiting for a seat, now I know why. The only negative which I assumed ahead of time was that they don't use/have real maple syrup. I know it's very expensive but I like to have the option and pay more. I just can't get myself to put fake syrup on pancakes. Luckily there is a grocery store next door that I could run to and bring in my syrup. read more

Yes, we are big fans. Yes, it's in a strip mall, yes it is worth the drive if you are on the other side of the harbour, yes you will thank me later! The place was packed when we arrived, wait time was only a few minutes. Service was on point. Food was amazing and plentiful. MD Crab Soup was flavorful and loaded. The kiddos split pancakes and bacon, neither complained and both eat all their food. My husband is a sucker for flounder and he opted for the fish filet sandwich, as you can see from the photo, this is something that can be shared. I ordered the shrimp salad sandwich, I'm a sucker for a shrimp salad. However, I was slightly disappointed b/c the shrimp were a little overcooked. It's really the only reason for a 4 star review. My family and I were out of town for a few days to hang with some friends. On the way back home we tried this diner...SOOOOO GOOD! Most of the eateries are located where you have to pay to park but this place is in a complex with other businesses so free parking. It's a small but cute spot for of course breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. I saw the Greek salad online and had to have it. I wasn't disappointed! The small size is a perfect size if you don't want too much of a salad but it comes with meat options to add as well. I also had 2 eggs scrambled with cheddar cheese, fries and toast. The hubby had the spinach pie which comes with the Greek salad as well. He also got a small side of fries. Needless to say, there wasn't much talking...all eating! That is a clear sign that it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and have more of the menu! I'm also goiNg to make sure our friends try it out since they're not too far! read more

When my friend suggested we go to a diner for lunch, I wasn't expecting one of those places that stays open 24/7 and isn't clean because of it, needless to say I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean, welcoming diner in the city. They have a variety of offerings from standard breakfast food and lunch items. I got the two eggs with bacon, side of tomatoes and an English muffin. Their bacon is baked in the oven (I think) so it comes out flat, oily, and crispy, just the way I like it. Their pancakes are very fluffy and taste like they're made from scratch. Always busy even early in the morning. It tells a lot about their food and services. I ordered biscuit and gravy. It came with some hush browns on the side. I am not a huge "eat with your eyes" kinda gal, but the moment they brought up my dish, I knew I was going to like it. First the portion size was generous, I like that! The meat gravy was still steaming hot while it's served, hot and fresh. The gravy had a nice thickness but a bit of a muted flavor: slightly creamy, slightly peppery. Not bad. There was a good amount of sausage bit in it. The biscuit tho was a little bit too dry and definitely not freshly made. Not sure whether it was the texture they went after, but I like my biscuit with a crusty shell and spongy soft inside. Service was good, very hospitable. read more

It's a smaller restaurant but it wasn't so small that your elbow to elbow with someone. The restaurants presentation is amazing. My waitress name was Jen, and he was just the best. Couldn't believe how packed this place was on a Sunday afternoon! Located in a major shopping center parking is never a problem, which when you live in the city is half the reason you pick to go anywhere! The restaurant is very small, would recommend not going during peak hours or at least get carry out! I was happy however how quickly I was greeted and able to order even though the place was very busy. I obviously got carry out and was told to call ahead next time haha. All the food I saw being served looked amazing! Once home, I ate my ceaser wrap and crab soup. I liked it a lot, very tasty.
