Solar Installation on newly purchased home approx 3 years ago. Have had leaks in ceiling, however South face Solar and Electric DID NOT have an issue getting resolved. Issue reared it's ugly head once again, and again South Face Solar came out within days of the leak appearing, they isolated the issue, had to cut drywall out of roof, they pressured washed area, reinstalled new links around solar panel legs to prevent leaking and are taking care of the entire issue/problem/cost. Drywall cleanup/repairs. It is amazing to have companies to trust, stand behind their projects and looking to do the right thing. The solar industry has become a racket and most companies contracted with are not the installers, in fact they don't know a lot about the process/needs, South Face Solar does. Corey the owner came out to assess himself, Jeff the lead is an amazing worker/person and a pleasure to have met and talked too. Zach the other worked was always courteous, hard working and even OCD about cleanup, very nice young man as well. These guys were very thoughtful and amazing, I am sure the finished project will have any/all issues resolved and if not, I won't hesitate to call them back to help once again. Great company to work for just make sure that before you get your sign on bonus they have a chat with you about what you need to do for that they didn't do that with me and I got cheated out of my $500 sign on bonus which I was very furious about they don't pay you drive time or overtime the staffing is amazing they're great people they pay for your schooling which is great but as far as working for them I don't think I would recommend it or make sure you have tons of solar experience before you do read more

We first contacted SouthFace Solar in January 2020, and our system was up and running in early April. Although it has been only a couple of weeks now, I must say I am very happy at this point. The personnel have all been very helpful. This is not a short process since building permits, SRP approvals, etc., etc. are required. There were a couple of minor hitches, but all were solved quickly with a call to or from Vance, their representative. I live on an off-grid home in Buckeye. I had spent over 30k getting this system installed with another company. Within a few months I started having issues and my original installer didn't know how to fix it. They referred me to other companies and eventually stopped returning my calls. The other companies would come out, charge a service fee, and would tell me they weren't familiar with off-grid homes and couldn't complete the repair. Southface was the 5th company that came out. I live up in central Arizona and met Corey at a home show a few years back. They had no problem coming up here and installing the solar system for us. We thought everything was good but a few months back I actually looked up at my ceiling and noticed a bolt sticking out, I called Corey and he said that they ALWAYS stand by their work. He committed to me that he himself would drive up here and take a look and if it was their problem he would fix things. It's been months and he has never called back. Horrible Company paid cash for my panels 7 years ago. After I paid then I was informed you track how your panels are doing with your high speed internet which I do not have. So they gave me an envoy unit to plug in to track. Panels have a 25 year warranty. They used to come pick my unit up every 6 months check it and give it back. 1 1/2 years ago they had a guy call me that can't even talk english very well. Said we don't have usage for you. I explained we have an envoy unit. He didn't even know what it is. I had to explain. Then he says I have to bring it all the way to PHX. 160 miles round trip. When they use to pick it up. They don't want to accommodate people up North anymore. So my husband took it to him. No one ever calls me back. Find an email oh your unit doesn't work you will need to buy a new one. I said how much oh $500. Wow I am saving alot of money on my electricity paying 18k for my panels then saying I have to spend $500 more. I don't believe them that it's not working. They never returned my item. Then they hooked me up with someone from envoy talked to him last year. He said he was going to try and get me one with waving the cost. He said let them hold on to your old one so I can get you a new one. Over a year later NO one has done anything! My next step is to file with the BBB and contact Gary Lezack 3 on your side read more

SouthFace was a joy to work with. I needed to have my solar panels removed for a new roof. They were so professional to work with and kept me informed when they would be arriving. I had to coordinate their removal completion with my roofer so it was important to have accurate information. They had their operations manager come and survey my system to get information for a removal plan for their crew. He was professional and competent. Their removal crew (3 of them) were competent, neat and removed my solar components in a reasonable time. If I needed a new solar system, they would be my only choice for a new system. read more

After moving into our new home we decided to have solar installed. We interviewed 6 different companies and are so glad we chose Southface Solar. Our first choice was Pur Solar but they want you to pay 80% upfront which turned us off. Southface was willing to work with us to get our business. The sales rep was very professional and willing to listen and work with us. They did everything possible to help us get "grandfathered" before the new rates took effect. Thanks to their efforts we are locked in at the old rates for the next 20 years. We were scheduled to be installed the end of October. We received a call and they were able to install the system in early October. The techs that came out were very professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each work day. It took 3 days to install the system. It was a very neat and clean install. We just had to wait for the city inspector and APS to do their thing before the system became functional. Everyone has signed off on their part and APS came out ahead of schedule to finish up the install. Once the new meters were installed I was able to "throw" the switch and start using solar power. The sales rep came out today and setup our box for wifi so we can monitor the usage. Again they contacted us to see how things were going and were pleased to hear that APS was ahead of schedule. We cannot say enough about our pleasant experience with Southface and highly recommend them to anyone wishing to install solar. They will listen to you and treat you right. read more
