Awful! They installed our system 2 years ago with a 2 year parts and labor warranty. The first time it leaked they came the same day to fix it. Great! The next time it leaked (bad!) Fenix Pool Solar had been sold so we had to deal with a different company. It was a pain but they came and fixed it. This last time (yes, it's failed 3 times in 2 years) we were told to deal with the new company. They refused as the original owners had taken the company back. Three weeks of fighting to get someone to fix it under warranty and nothing! Fenix's own tech told us to register a complaint with the BBB. We did but of course Fenix never replied. My husband ordered $20 in parts and fixed himself. So it's a crappy install and non-existent warranty. Do not use this company! read more

This company, starting with, Mike, their sales rep, has been wonderful! Just had our solar pool heater installed with quality workmanship and workers, just like Mike promised! They have called to check on us, followed through with a small issue (came the same day!) and all is working as promised. FERMIN stayed and taught my husband how to use the panel, "set it and forget it", and took time to show me, too! Mike could sell anything, but he knows his stuff and made good on all he promised! Buyer beware!!! Over priced and over promised!!! I used Fenix Pool for solar, misting and font yard/backyard outdoor living area improvements. They only completed about 80% of the work agreed to. They left our front yard, backyard and side yards in absolute disarray. Such a mess! Metal stakes thrown about and never picked up, left over product everywhere including cement and cinderblocks, wash out areas were left for me to deal with, trash, electrical lines/water lines that were cut were left behind...And they never reconnected the watering lines or the the electrical lines. They left a chain that was wrapped around my gas lines, pad locked and I had to deal with getting that cut and disposed of. Misting system was installed. We immediately had issues with the pump and we were told they would replace it. Which, of course never happened. They don't return calls. And if you have issues like I did and you call the owner, good luck on getting him to call you back. They never truly completed the work. It was Just terrible customer service experience and an absolute horror story when it comes to quality and clean up. They didn't even put the piles of rocks back that they had moved for construction of the outdoor living areas. Just a terrible experience and I would strongly suggest using another company. I wish I would have read the Yelp advices prior to signing with Fenix. read more

My best advice: educate yourself before signing anything with these guys. They'll certainly install anything you ask for (I first tried solar, that was not enough to heat my pool, then put in an electric pump for "dual heating") and then leave you to figure it out. I have a sizable ~25K gallon pool so yeah it's a tricky situation....but don't rely on them to help you figure out a real solution. I think the team is solid and executes well. Nick (office manager?) tried, Fermin (field service tech?) tried, Jamie (owner) also tried. They communicate, install as promised and on the day scheduled, do a neat and tidy job...and then we'll see if the pool heats up. If it doesn't (and it didn't for me for both solar and electric) the great service drops off. They'll promise 80-85 degrees in a few days *with cold weather accounted for* and when it does not happen, good luck to you. Now I have solar panels on my roof and a big electric heating unit (~$20K+ sunk) that won't heat to 80-85 degrees unless I figure out something with another pool company (any advice here, Yelp community?) I installed solar in Sept 2023 and it never got above 65F, even when it was 99F outside. 3 months of back and forth, they sent Fermin out to check it out...."yeah sure it's all set up correctly"...and the temp never improved. Then I was told to try adding an electric pump, and I trusted them and gave it a shot....Jan 2024, was promised 80-85 in less than 6 days by both Fermin and Jamie via texts...nope, never happened, topped out at 73F. FYI this is for an Airbnb. Don't take my word for it, I've had *all pool-using guests* complain and show me the pool temp themselves. If you have a simple, small pool that is fairly shallow, then their straight line solution will probably work. If you have any doubts....research, research, research before you commit. Good luck to everyone out there wanting to heat their pools. read more

Very impressive service. They contacted us right away to schedule a visit for an in- person quote. Quote process was thorough and Rob was a real pleasure to work with. Quoted price was reasonable and the company is vet friendly. Installation occurred within mere days due to a cancellation, but expect about two weeks. The crew, including James and Eddie were great! Very friendly and Eddie's 20 years of pool experience was evident in the careful and meticulous work he did, even improving the current pump manifold configuration. They spent the entire day and checked and rechecked their work thoroughly. Our pool is already warming up and it was a true pleasure to work with this fine company and superb employees.
