I spent 2 weeks researching misting companies online and youtube trying not to make a bad decision on buying the wrong system. Literally 20+ hours of time, numerous phone calls and a lot of frustration. I searched for local businesses first and one tried to sell me a 1000 psi system that could take 50 misters and sounded like a jackhammer. It didnt sound like this guy had my best interest in mind. His price tag was also 5k. All I needed was around 8 to 10 misters above my enclosed patio to keep us cool when temps went above 95. Aero Mist has a lot of kits you can purchase right off the site but I needed reassurance that the pump would be quiet enough to have inside the patio without driving us nuts. I spoke to Scott and he customized my order which was very similar to one of their kits. I installed everything myself in about 3 hours. It should have taken longer but Im the type of guy that will measure 10 times and cut once instead of measuring once and cutting 10 times. The motor is encased and has a fan on it to keep it cool. It is really quiet and I made it even quieter by sticking it behind our outdoor couches. I would recommend getting the swivel adapters so that you can point the individual mists to where you need them. Also you can get a smaller diameter .008 mist head if you are concerned about water reaching the ground. My system works perfectly using 16ft, 9 misters and a 300 psi pump. I moved into a house with existing mist nozzles that sprayed water and made a mess. Purchased their higher end nozzles ($5 vs 2 each) and OMG what a difference. Fog instead of heavy mist! Aero Mist is an awesome company and have great products. The USA Clydesdale Preservation Foundation has been purchasing their misting products for the past 18 years. But that is not the whole story. We have 5 Cydesdales here we run misters in our barn as well as 8 fans and 2 swamp coolers. All help but the MISTING SYSTEM makes a difference in whether we have horses that can survive our hottest days. Our open barn runs about 15-20 degrees cooler than the outdoor temperature because of the system and our volunteers love it. Our system quit working yesterday. We called Aero Mist and said we need to purchase a new one. It takes about 2 weeks to get a system as they are built to fit specific needs. They also added that they are running a little bit longer than that. Panic struck me as we are going out of town for the next week for a family emergency. Which meant that volunteers would have to hose down horses numerous times to help them. This morning at 8:08 am Scott from Aero Mist called and said he came in early to get our system together for us. Needless to say I had tears of joy and gratitude. We have always known that this company had the best products and best service having a huge heart for helping a customer with an important need we will be forever grateful. I am also grateful for this power house equipment we purchased from them 18 years ago for a meager cost of $600.00 that lasted so long under outdoor barn conditions with Clydesdales walking past it every day. I recently bought a misting system kit for my home patio. The kit was very well made, (plug and play), simple to install and worked better than advertised. The team @ Aeromist was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with the installation process as I had never installed a system like this one before. My husband installed Aero Mist system for our horse stalls last year. I now feel better about the hot summers for my horses. With it on a timer it works perfectly during the hot afternoons to keep our horses cool and I don't have to remember to turn it off and on. We use to use a cheap PVC system from another company until we found Aero Mist at Home Depot. Much better quality mist - less dripping and we know the quality will last. Our mister died and it's July in AZ. We were sure it was the pump and was going to cost a fortune. We took it in and were told the repair guy was on vacation but would look at it when he got back. Imagine our surprise when they called later that day and said that it had been looked at and they fixed it! And it wasn't expensive. We were thrilled. I am a new dealer or was. I ordered a system for a customer. I was told 3-5 business days. On the 6th day, I called to ask when they were looking to ship out the equipment. I spoke to someone on Monday , that person said they would call me back in 5 minutes. After a hour I called back and they said the pump was ready and someone would contact me in the am for payment. 1 pm cam around with no call, so I called to pay for the equipment. The person that answered the phone asked what I was calling about. I told him that I was calling about the pump and before I could say that I need to pay for it. He rudely blurts out "We will call when the pump is built" in a very angry tone. I will be doing business elsewhere. I asked my dealer contact who I spoke to , he said it was the owner of the company. I reordered the system with cloudburst misting for my client and it will be here Friday. read more

I worked with a person that was a VP here and they mis-communicated many things which caused me and my family alot of financial stress. I attempted to purchase a patio cooling kit from this website. The checkout page gave an error stating my address didn't match my credit cards billing address. I went back and corrected it. I got the same error again. So I closed the page, having decided not to do business with a website that can't correctly confirm my address. An hour later, my wife discovers two (2) charges for the same kit on our card. I never completed the online order form! I call the company in Arizona and leave a message about what happened. I never got an email or phone call so I called at about 12:30 pm Pacific Time today, Thursday the 17th of July in 2014. I was told that the web guy could help me resolve that problem and do I want to wait on hold or wait for a call back. I chose a call back. 1 hour later without a call, I call them. I try to explain the problem to whomever answered the phone. He started off by saying the credit card processing was not their problem. "Not their problem"! I could not believe this guy was saying that. I told him that that is not how you deal with a customer, you don't say it's not your problem, you say "I am sorry for the problem and we will get that fixed right away". Then you go to the web guy and say "What is the problem that is losing me customers?!" This guy kept interrupting me to say it wasn't his fault, it wasn't his problem. I got upset and demanded to speak to a manager. The guy on the phone said Mark would help me, the same Mark who didn't call back. I said I would wait on hold. A few minutes later a woman gets on the line. She says that the credit charges are only pending and that they don't have my money. I already knew that. She then tells me the guy on the phone with me a moment ago was the owner of the company. What? The guy giving me shit because I'm pointing out how his website is broken is the owner of the company?! Wow, he must be an amazing guy to just shit on a customer over the phone. So we won't be spending money there. Too bad, because I have three decks over 20 feet long each that need a misting system. Having never used one before, this was going to be small purchase before getting into significant expense. I hope this helps someone before they get treated shitty. read more

I bought an Aeromist Model 50027-10, which is a 150 PSI with 10 nozzles less than a couple of weeks ago from Aero Mist company's website. Confusing order confirmation, followed by no no news, until the order arrived a week later. No instruction manuals/sheets was included. I installed the system over a patio at a height of 8 ft above the floor. When you turn the system on, the system puts out so much water that the floor is completely wet in 2 minutes, it is uncomfortable to sit under the mist system unless you are ready to take a shower! I called the customer service, who understood the problem, and I was told that system does just that - unpleasant to find out after spending $280 and a whole morning setting this up. They were not going to do anything to make this right. for the customer. But I could order, at my cost, a different set of nozzles with smaller opening to reduce the amount of water that was being spewed out. Those are in the mail now, but I would strongly suggest you avoid doing business with this company - product and customer service suck at this company. AVOID. read more
