Since I enjoy sitting in my porch swing on most evenings, this last Christmas, my wife said she wanted me to have a Mist America system installed in the spring. Well, I pulled the trigger and am glad I did! After contacting Mist America, I decided that I wanted them to do the install since they have experience with the stainless steel tubing installation. After calling, Jeff came by to assess the installation. We discussed, fan models, fan color, pumps and routing. Jeff was patient and knowledgeable. On my end, I needed to provide an electrical outlet and water source. No biggie there. Jeff took a few measurements, thanked me and was off. I was scheduled the next week and the guys were out to install the following week. Ruben and Kenny were my installers. I discussed routing and pump placement with them and they went right to work. They were to install two Mist360 Cyclone fans and their high-end 1000psi pump. When Ruben began routing the tubing, I could tell he was particular about his work (just like I am). The runs were straight and the bends precise. Kenny went to work with the fan installation. All-in all about a 5-hour install. I was very pleased with their work. We fired the system up and it worked perfectly. I use my ceiling light switch to turn the fan on and a key fob to kick the pump on. I was given instructions on winterizing the system and changing oil in the pump. With that, we were done. The guys were so enjoyable to have around, I kind of hated to see them go! It looks as though I have one year warranty on the installation and fan, and 3 years on the pump. Everything was professionally handled by all of the Mist America representatives that I encountered. Years after purchasing a high-end porch swing and thoroughly enjoying it almost daily, I feel that same way about my Mist America Fans and look forward to summers outside with my two favorite recreational pleasures!

I hope the system works well for the time to come. The reason for 3 stars are 1. Not coming to the house before giving estimate, everything over the phone and on the day of the install they found few problems. We did find a solution but they would charge extra and their expectation is that the extra money should not be a problem in the big picture. Someone needs to tell them that they are taking my money and it doesn't grow on tree 2. the attitude from the people you talk to over phone (not the person coming to setup, he was great) I could say rude but it is something else. It feels like they are doing us a favor by taking our project. My wife brought it up while we were getting estimate but I brushed it off untill I had the experience during payment when I wanted to talk about the extra charge. Update: They did take off the extra charge but did so in a very elegant manner (being sarcastic)

The pump is first rate and actually operates via remote control. The rest of the equipment is stainless steel, powder coated to a variety of colors that match your home.
