I won't post the blow by blow of my multitude of issues with Spa, Hearth and Home, but I have been trying since July 2024 to get them to replace parts that are under warranty for my spa with little response from them, leaving my spa inopérable at this time. What response I did get, is often short and rude. They to prefer text message for communicating, which is wonderful as I have documentation of all the issues I've had with them. Because of a lack of response from Spa, Hearth, and Home, I have been in contact with Artesian, the maker of my spa, several times. They have been quite responsive and helpful, though Spa, Hearth and Home always places blame on Artesian for doesn't respond to them and claiming they are at fault for the delay in replacing my parts. I finally had them scheduled to come out today between 1-2pm to replace one of the parts. I texted this morning, confirming that they were still coming, as it snowed last night. I got no response and waited around until 2:30. Since no one showed up, I called Spa, Hearth and Home directly and was told that the maintenance worker called out because he didn't think he'd have any jobs today and the repair manager was out sick. I asked why no one called to let me know that my appointment was canceled and got a faint apology and more excuses. I am now waiting for someone to reach back out to schedule another appointment (which I waited two weeks for initially), meanwhile, my spa is sitting in freezing cold temperatures with stagnant water in it. A home spa is a big purchase and something you want to have for years. My suggestion is not purchasing one from Spa, Hearth and Home or you will be left out of luck when you need maintenance work done. I'm happy to share details of my experiences with anyone thinking of purchasing from them.

We were completely disqusted with our pool, to the point of filling it in. I explained one day, while by chance stopping by, at this easily missed business, and was completely enlightened by Doug. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. (An individual who was honest and truly wanted to help me.) Long story short, all this time, 6 years to be exact, we have had all the wrong equipment with regard to our operation aspect of our pool. Doug, after doing a free inspection, explained everything to us and made sense of it all. Needless to say, I cannot say enough complimentary things about him and his business. He straightened everything out the way it should be and we immediately noticed a difference. If you want quality advice and quality work, then this is the man you should consult. I contacted the company and had to text. So I text the 888 number and hear a response. I show the picture included and never heard an answer back. Also notice in the picture how they never covered my intake pool return cover. Use this place with caution. Place never even offered a partial refund or money off for future service.

There's a reason they've been around for years! They care about their customers and will do their best to accommodate to any of their needs. I go for semi-weekly water testing and the water lab knows just what your pool needs to get your pool chemistry perfect! The people in the parts department can assist you with any part you may need or any problem you're having. The employees are all dedicated and caring people. I wouldn't trust my pool with anyone else.

    My early morning birthday present from Budd Pools & Spas. Our pool was opened on Thursday 5/7 for…read morethe 10th year, by the same company that built it. I thought that was the safest, best option to keep our pool in the best shape. In fact for 10 years, I pay Budds to open, service weekly for 12 weeks, and close my pool. Friday morning I turned the heater on in case the kids wanted to go in. I thankfully hung outside for a bit, when I began to smell something burning and walked over to find the heater on fire. I immediately turned off the power on the heater and emailed and called Budds. They FaceTimed with Edward Litsky, and noted that the water valve to the heater was in the off position. They then sent someone out Friday evening around 8pm, turned the water on, vacuumed out the soot, inspected it using a phone flashlight, turned on the heater and informed us someone would be in touch. Three days later, after I requested to hear from someone in a supervisor role, Chas the GM of service called me this evening. He offered to replace the burned out lcd screen free of charge. I told him I expected more, as I no longer feel safe having my kids around the heater, and he told me it was more than fair since "I" turned off the water to the heater. He blamed ME! A customer of 10 years. He blamed me, because I emailed requesting assistance turning on the skimmers prior to the fire. After their own employees admitted it was opened incorrectly. The General Manager of Service blamed me in a massive CYA case. I have never been a part of a worst case of shady business in my life. Avoid Budds Pools.
