I live in the Florida panhandle. I have had an in-ground pool at my home for 25 years. Until this past fall, the pool was inside a screened enclosure. For a number of reasons I was never happy with the enclosure. I was sure that there must be a better way to enclose a pool, but short of converting it to an indoor pool, I was clueless. None of the local pool companies was of any help, but fortunately I found Pool & Spa enclosures on the web. As others have written, John and Alex are absolutely great to work with. Their enclosures are everything they say they are. The engineering and quality of construction are outstanding, as is the performance of the enclosure. Today, April 21, the outside air temp is 78. Inside the enclosure the air temp is 97, and the water temp is 83. Even though my pool is unheated, I have been swimming in 80 degree water since late March. Previously with the screened enclosure my pool never hit 80 until May. Ditching the screened room and replacing it with a sliding pool enclosure was a great decision. The new enclosure has exceeded my expectations in every way. Great product from a great company! read more

I hope I can convey my satisfaction without giving you concern I am embellishing the facts or not sincere, I don't know or have ever met Alex but feel 110% comfortable in our dealings, I have had one if the best consumer experiences I've ever had, and would recommend him to anyone. My wife (the VP of Research at our house) just found the company Pool and Spa Enclosures on-line. We had absolutely NO other experience or reference leading us to them. I am a homeowner, not a pool company. I built the 12'x24' above ground rectangular pool and custom deck around it myself. I had the 18' x 40' enclosure installed by Pool and Spa Enclosures in the fall of 2013 after working with Alex on the phone for probably +/-10 months. His responsiveness and willingness to spend HOURS on the phone with us discussing the myriad details was amazing to me. I am in real estate and know what it's like spending time with someone for months and then being left high and dry. I often said to myself does this guy spend this much time with everyone? He gave me everything I needed for the town to get my permits, was helpful in my overall design of the deck and pool placement relative to the enclosure, and probably most importantly gave us peace of mind throughout the design and purchase process. The web site, You Tube, and his sincere attention to our needs made it very easy. I will say, sending him $37,000 in cash (not in an escrow account or anything) based on a few emails, a possibly worthless agreement, and hours on the phone with the promise I'd get this thing delivered and installed was a bit nerve wracking. My wife told me to not worry about it, thank goodness in hindsight I didn't need to!! The installation crew are tremendous and the unit is Phenomenal. This is the first year we will have the pool operational, I don't have it done yet but hope to be up and operating mid 2014. The quality of the construction is impressive. The sections move effortlessly with literally the push of a finger on one side of the unit. The fact 100% of the wind is eliminated makes the environment very unique and comfortable. Something VERY important! There was an installation discrepancy. I told him soon after it was up there was a leak and he said they would be back in the spring to repair it. With the tremendous snow we had this past year there was a breech of the enclosure were it leaked!! After the snow melted, other than the one panel that fell out, it looked normal and the sections opened and closed OK. Nothing that was catastrophic but it was compromised. Again, after phone calls, pictures, and emails Alex coordinated the crew to come back and replace what needs to be replaced at absolutely cost to me. If you are concerned about the "breech", DON'T BE! Consider the facts 1.) I am the ONLY one in the country that had this problem! 2.) So 99.9% of the other units in place are absolutely reliable and 3.) the .01% that may have a manufacturer or installation problem are FULLY BACKED by the company with no questions asked!!! What else can you ask for?? They came back and rebuilt the entire enclosure. I was the first install of the season. Took 4 days and they were great. It has rain very heavy about 3 times since and not a drop!! They were cordial, prompt, and accommodating. Alex is a man if his word, it did not cost me another penny, it has been a total pleasure dealing with him. I haven't mentioned, the engineering if this unit is truly superior. The sections move effortlessly on the low profile tracks. All the materials and workmanship have an elegant look. When anyone first sees the unit, it takes a few minutes to drink it all in, then when they physically see it operate, they are truly impressed. The environment that is created with it either closed or open is quite comforting. It is truly an enclosed living space while feeling like you are outside. The zero wind condition is one if the nice effects. If you want an enclosure for ANY reason! give these guys a chance, I can't believe you won't be fully satisfied and truly feel good about such a good purchase experience. read more

After having the enclosure almost a year I am still totally convinced about it! There are 3 main advantages: 1) security: We have a 4 year old daughter that is not allowed to go into the water without having one of us beside her. The enclosure has a lock, so it is not possible for her to get in without us. 2) Energy efficiency: We were able to use the pool from beginning of April to end of october in Columbus/Ohio! Our neighbours who do not have an enclosure can just use it half of the time. In addition the enclosure keeps the temperature so right now the heater is not running! In addition: The temperature was already above the choosen temperature! 3) The cleanness is incredible! We live in the woods so by having the enclosure we have no dirt or leafs inside (except we open the enclosure temporary :-) ) Also after the winter (we winterized the pool end of october) the water was still cristal clear! So there was no exchange/shock chlorinating needed. Side note: The pool is already 14 years old and we are not sure where the pipes are, so else we could also use the pool 365 days/year! I strongly recommend the enclosure to every pool-owner! In addition the stuff is very friendly! They helped us in choosing the right model and also the installation was no problem at all. I have been enjoying my elegant retractable pool enclosure for about 3 months. It is fantastic! All of my neighbors are very impressed by it. They say that they have never seen anything like it. I would not have gotten a pool unless I was able to have an enclosure. That's how important it was to me. The enclosure drastically reduces the amount of time and energy needed to clean the pool and reduces the need to add pool chemicals. Before I got the enclosure, so much debris got into the pool to the point of clogging my 2 filters. It was a chore cleaning and vacuuming the filters and the bottom of the pool. I knew that this would change once the enclosure was in place. When the enclosure is kept closed, all vacuuming and cleaning of filters is eliminated. The only time I need to vacuum or clean filters is when I have the enclosure open, or partially retracted. Even then, in comparison from the beginning, there is hardly anything that needs to be done, in terms of cleaning. I am thankful for all that I have been blessed with, and attribute a lot of the success to Alex, of Pool and Spa Enclosures. He was terrific from the beginning to the end. I strongly urge anyone considering a pool enclosure to contact him first. He will give you the best deal and best price. Trust me, I checked.
