Such a gorgeous space. A transformed garage made into a garden shop with a greenhouse on the second floor. Beautiful, healthy plants. Mostly succulents but then again, I AM ahead of the season. The prices for the plants were decent and not outrageous. The staff was a little aloof. The young gentleman overlooked me and was more attentive to the couples looking around. In any case, I was nice to see the greenery in the middle of busy ol Passyunk.

Neighborhood gem Happy Place Nice selection of plants and garden accessories. Heather was great. I have a few plants that were touch and go but thriving now. Heather provided some suggestions of plants that would be a great addition to my plant family in my bedroom. Pepper is on the left and Ruby on the right. The young lady that assisted with my purchase was very pleasant as well. She carefully bagged my plants. Looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful open air spacious place to explore plant items and garden goods. Whether you're looking for a new pot of plant or something to complement your already existing interior/exterior green life, this is a must visit place! The staff overall are pretty well versed in what plant is what, and if you are looking for advice on maintaining/expanding which plant goes with what, just ask. Have pets? Be sure to ask what is safe to have around them. Lots of things to look at, and many floors to explore. Come check it out!

Neat store for those of us who love plants, get ideas as to how to care for them and appreciate the mere unique collections of plants - succulents, house plants, etc etc. Right outside the store at the entrance are displays of healthy and thriving plants attended by staff who is very friendly and knowledgeable. They really take great care of their plants! You have to visit this store when in Passyunk PA!

I came here to buy my first ever plant! I left with a pathos, two succulents, potting mix and a beautiful bag plant holder! The staff was friendly but I wish they would have been a little more thorough when explaining the watering process of the plant since I have never owned one before. Other than that, it's a beautiful little shop and it was the perfect way to end our trip to Philly!

This store offers varieties of plants perfect for the size of Philadelpha row homes. If you don't have much space for plants you can opt for cute cactus arrangements that don't take much space.

Urban Jungle, great store for all the green thumb lovers, the ones that are into doing it themselves, or if you just enjoy the beauty of plants and gardening. You can find so much greenery at Urban Jungle. I saw huge gigantic plants that would be beautiful in professional settings like doctor's offices or hotels. They even had little baby exotic plants as well. My aunt has a pond that my uncle created in the back of her house and I was able to see the creation of building a pond through a display at Urban Jungle that had beautiful rocks and other supplies needed for building a mini pond. Jazz music in the background and friendly staff that walks around the store eager to help or answer any questions was there at Urban Jungle.

Such an awesomely cool place! When we passed this small warehouse, there was no way we could simply walk past it. The large botanicals and fresh scents lure you in. And what a vibe it was! Urban Jungle has a beautiful selection of houseplants and outdoor plants--fiddle leaves, monsteras, cacti, pothos, peace lilies, and so much more. And they don't have just plants, they have accessories, tools and very unique planters. If I wasn't already struggling with my peace lily plant, I would have purchased the beautiful peace lily plant here! But I wouldn't be able to do it justice. Anywho, this place is a treat. They allowed us to bring in our friend's dog as well so dog friendly : )

I developed a very serious houseplant obsession during quarantine, and was really excited to check out Urban Jungle on a Saturday! It's a cute, industrial-hipster vibes place selling everything from plants, soil, and pots to macrame hangers and cute print cloth masks. It's a lovely haven of greenery, and the person I spoke with on the phone prior to coming was really nice and helpful. I didn't interact much with the employees while I was there, but they seemed happy to help folks who needed it and happy tending to the plants! I do wish there were more variety--there were primarily succulents, with a few varieties of pothos, monsteras, and ficus, etc. Everything does lean towards the pricier end, especially the "trendier" plants like monsteras! That being said, I'm happy to support a cute plant store and appreciate this place filled with growth and greenery! We all need more of that these days :)

While my father has a great green thumb, to say I'm clueless about things in the wild green yonder is a bit of an understatement.

Everyone greeted us with a smile and hello. I bought two plants and potters. The selection was great and the value of items was good. I love that they support other black owned businesses as well. They're both super knowledgeable and helpful every time I see them, whether at their shop or an event around Philly. I've been to their plant shop at least twice now and have purchased five plants from them. On my most recent visit, I picked up a Swiss Cheese Plant and a Crispy Wave Fern Plant. They have a decent selection of plants, along with other trinkets, merch, and plant care items. One of my favorite bigger plants I've purchased is the Pink Princess Philodendron. I've wanted this plant since the pandemic, and when I saw on social media that they had it, I traveled to their location to grab it! During the pandemic, this plant was in high demand and overpriced everywhere else, but at Plant & People, I felt the price for its size was reasonable. She's been with me for several months now and is thriving! I'm still learning how to be a plant mom and need help with repotting a few of my plants--which they also offer as a service. I enjoy coming here and grabbing a plant or two every time.
