We live in California and we needed to send a small indoor plant for our son's birthday…read more We were scheduled to visit Philadelphia that day, but wanted to surprise him with an arrangement before we arrived.  I called Roses Florist and spoke to a gracious lady named Maria. Maria helped me pick a bonsai and balloons for the arrangement.  Our son obsoletely loved the arrangement!  Before we left Philadelphia, I stopped by at the store to thank Maria in person.  She was as nice on the phone as she was in person. Her husband, Michael, was there. He picked a red rose as a gift for me.   Maria "dressed up the rose" with ferns and baby's breath. She then wrapped it up beautifully.  The rose looked beautiful in our living room. The rose survived a two-day trip because of the cancellation of our flight and our late arrival home the next day.  We were so grateful to have met amazing people!  Thank you, Maria! Thank you, Michael!

I whipped out my navy blue titanium Iphone 15 and viciously typed "flowers" into Apple Maps, and Walter Pine Floral Studio became the obvious choice. Yes, I use Apple Maps. Y'all still using Google Maps?! or God forbid... Waze!!? COULDN'T BE ME!! After standing outside for a minute to catch my breath after my ELITE 9 min/mile pace, I entered. I was immediately struck with inspiration, as this is the most beautiful Floral Shop I have been in and I actually have been in a good amount of them for being a straight male ahahaha. I just couldn't stop smiling in there. As I was standing there breathing heavily and smiling, one of the employees, Taylor, walked up to me with a bigger smile than I had on and asked if I needed help with anything. I told her I just wanted to get some flowers for my girlfriend and that she hated roses but loved tulips... She said "Awesome!" and brought me over to the bouquet station and gave me a little rundown on what she thought. She was so helpful, big up to Taylor!! She said it would take about 5-10 minutes, and that Chloe would be the one putting the bouquet together. I was cool with that because honestly I wanted to look around, they had such a great selection of hand curated items including but not limited to cards, matches, candles, house plants, flowers, hanging plants, chocolate, ornaments, vases, pots, etc. I ended up getting her matches (she loves matches), the boquet ($35), and a card that said "I am so glad you were born." It wasn't her birthday or nothin, but I am glad she was born ahahaha. The bouquet ended up being BEAUTIFUL and my girlfriend absolutely loved it lol. Chloe did her mf THANG! She immediately put them in a vase and right on the table. I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of Tulips before, but they've grown on me. I think I just learned so much about the Tulip Mania in Econ class that I was off them... FELLAS, WALTER PINE FLORAL STUDIO *IS* THE PLACE! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__
