Everyone greeted us with a smile and hello. I bought two plants and potters. The selection was great and the value of items was good. I love that they support other black owned businesses as well. I was in my HAPPY place. Next time I would like to check out the cafe. Cherron the owner is so nice. They sell so much more than plants like candles, incense, shirts, jewelry, stickers, etc. from black owned vendors. I will definitely be back!

They're both super knowledgeable and helpful every time I see them, whether at their shop or an event around Philly. I've been to their plant shop at least twice now and have purchased five plants from them. On my most recent visit, I picked up a Swiss Cheese Plant and a Crispy Wave Fern Plant. They have a decent selection of plants, along with other trinkets, merch, and plant care items. One of my favorite bigger plants I've purchased is the Pink Princess Philodendron. I've wanted this plant since the pandemic, and when I saw on social media that they had it, I traveled to their location to grab it! During the pandemic, this plant was in high demand and overpriced everywhere else, but at Plant & People, I felt the price for its size was reasonable. She's been with me for several months now and is thriving! I'm still learning how to be a plant mom and need help with repotting a few of my plants--which they also offer as a service. I enjoy coming here and grabbing a plant or two every time.

I came to Snapdragon Flower shop in search for a creative gift to give a love one of mines as a token of my appreciation. I knew I wanted to give flowers but I didn't want to be ordinary and traditional. I wanted to think out of the box and that's when I saw their vintage tea cup floral arrangement. I spoke to David and gave him an idea of what I wanted the flowers to look like and they fulfilled my request at a reasonable price of 40.00. The small flower shop also specializes in spiritual and wellness items such as healing crystals, incense, sage, oils and organic soaps. Speaking of organic soaps. I gifted my love one two soaps and the soap was listed as rainforest alliance certified. Wow! Overall if your interested in a quaint gift shop that has creative floral arrangements as well as good quality spiritual items check out Snapdragon flowers and gifts!

Her designs embodied the joy we wanted our wedding to center around, especially after being separated from our friends and family for so long due to the pandemic. My only requirements were that the flowers were colorful, included sunflowers and were more modern and organic -- other than that, Tolani had free reign. Tolani took off with my ideas and brought her artistry to the forefront, she included seasonal blooms and had fun with the bouquets and extra design elements. She is a true artist that approaches her work with intention, care and thoughtfulness. The one particularly special stand out was the design she did to honor my late dad. After we talked through some inspiration, Tolani created a beautiful remembrance chair full of foliage and flowers to accompany a photo of my dad at our ceremony. I cried so much when I saw it the day of my wedding -- it was so lovingly done and meant so much to me and my family. Everyone was blown away by it. Tolani really listened to our needs and was flexible with us as we had a limited budget. She also moved with us to our new date when we had to postpone due to the pandemic and allowed us to purchase our own vases instead of renting them so people could take them home. I am very grateful to Tolani and her team who infused our wedding day with so much brightness and fun through their florals. Snapdragon Flowers was recommended by a friend who utilized Tolani's services for her wedding and I am so glad that my husband and I were able to work with her for our own wedding! We highly recommend working with Tolani and would encourage any Philly-based couple to hire them for their own special event.

He spent plenty of time explaining what a good plan of attack would be, along with pointing out the other desirable and less-than-desirable plants back there. In the end, we decided to tackle the project ourselves following his recommendations because the labor would have been out of our budget. In hindsight, and after getting some itchy exposure despite the protective suit, it might have been worth paying his crew to do the work. I would recommend him over a normal landscaper if you're not sure where to start or if you are very sensitive to p.i. oils

We called him about a…read moredefinite poison ivy problem in our front yard and a possible poison ivy problem in our backyard. I explained to him that I didn't feel comfortable walking in the backyard because I wasn't sure what is and what isn't poison ivy. He told us to do the best we can and even if it's just in the front he would still come out to inspect everything. He then told us that if we did want the back done he would drive out to look at that to see what is poison ivy and what isn't. Then he had his worker message me from a different number and we set up a date and I confirmed with them that there's no charge for him to come out and look even though about an hour or so away from them and the workers said there's definitely no problem. So that's it we had a verbal agreement which I take seriously I'm a man of my word for an appointment this Thursday at 4:00. Well they gave me extremely short notice to let me know that he's not going to drive out unless I take extra pictures. I said I already discussed that the reason I need him to come out in the first place is because I'm severely allergic and I can't take more pictures but you at least have the pictures of the front so you know that there's poison ivy there. So then they were telling me that well he's not going to come out and we have to do a virtual inspection basically ignoring what I said. Then they said if I want him to come out it's going to be $150 for every 50 mi. This is completely different from what he was saying about a free inspection. I could hire some kid down the street to do the whole job for less than $150. There's probably about 15 minutes of work. This was all explained to him on the original call. At first he seemed like a nice guy but then I noticed he wasn't even replying to my messages which I took is a very bad sign. Even the worker I would say thank you and they would not have the courtesy to reply you're welcome or anything. On top of that they've been texting / calling me from multiple different numbers which is very weird. I'm also not sure if the guy is slower if he has a stutter but during the phone call there was something off about him maybe he just stutters when he lies? Anyway, obviously we have no interest in using this guy anymore. On top of that he told me something that was factually incorrect. He told me that when I asked him if it's safe for me to be out there when they're removing the poison ivy said oh yeah it won't get in the air. That is factually incorrect and it actually contradicts with the video on his site where he said you don't even have to touch poison ivy to gets sick. He not only lost a client but his reputation. They also tried to say that he had an appointment in my area but because he had to cancel it now he can't come to see me. I called BS on that I doubt he had an appointment in the area to begin with they were just trying to jerk around.
