Wonderful professionals! Rodrigo is very detailed and clear on explaining projects and delivering exceptional service!

Wow how amazing I left a email stating my internet problem and that afternoon I think it was Kevin who called me and suggested trying something first before I just went out and tried whatever sorry if I got name wrong but he was in charge of service. I was having an issue with my Lutron RA2 system due to a IP address change. I was also having a miscommunication issue with the person I had regularly been using in the east bay. I called on a Friday and was transferred to Kevin who immediately started helping me. He set up an appointment for the next Wednesday along with a detailed email of what they would be doing. As it happens the miscommunication with my regular guy resolved itself and he came by and took care of the issue. I called Kevin to cancel and it was a no issue and no drama cancellation. I would recommend SoundVision based just on this interaction, and I will make a recommendation to whoever buys our house to use SoundVision for any issues! read more

HI Brian! Thank you so much for sending David to upgrade the theater! He truly is a sound artist, and the room can't really be any better! You should come over and experience what he did. It is absolutely unbelievable that sound and speakers can work so well. It's way better than going to a theater. Also, thanks for all you guys have done to upgrade the wifi and sound system in the house as well. I'm so glad we found you read more

Seth and the rest of his install team - Chandler and David - did a very professional job of upgrading our home's AV system. This work included new routers, new TVs and a new system by which to control it all. They were patient when explaining the operations system and took the time to run us through the ins and outs of all the new stuff. read more

SoundVision was highly recommended by the contractor who did an extensive remodel of my home. I am so glad I followed his suggestion. SoundVision installed a system which meets my needs beautifully. The few times I've called for service since the installation Sound Vision provided prompt, efficient and friendly service. I really appreciate their service as it reduces stress since I am not at all technically inclined. read more

We moved into our home during the height of Covid 19. Scott Sullivan and his team are very professional and know their stuff. I am reasonably technical for a layperson but moved into a place in Sausalito that had been remodeled and had two doorbird door bells, three server based sonos receivers, several LED TVs, and 8 EERO internet routers. They did a fabulous job and even found a way to get a POE internet connection half way between our house and the community garage where I keep my Tesla which require WiFi for updates. At some point, we will move again and, no doubt, I will reach out to Scott to help us get all of our AV configured. Excellent company. read more

10 Stars! SoundVision installed my original TV and sound system about 10 years ago, and when it came time to upgrade I didn't hesitate to contact them. The project manager Loren came to my house and thoroughly reviewed all of my equipment, infrastructure and requirements. There was no "upselling;" he was 100% focused on my requirements and budget. The installation team of Greg, Dave & Jared was competent, considerate and a pleasure to work with. My internet and cable presented some challenges which they resolved, leaving me with a perfect TV and sound system. They followed up to make sure that my other components were integrated with the new and that I was satisfied with my new system. I am more than satisfied. A responsive, reliable and professional job and company. read more

We had a TV and sound system installed by Soundvision. They did an excellent job making music and TV sound come alive. We used both wired and wireless technology and it was integrated beautifully. The install team kept us informed and was very thorough. Our representative, Rody Santamarina, was a pleasure to work with. He checked in often and recently made sure things were working well. We have just moved to LA and wish Soundvision provided service here. read more

We recently used SoundVision to update, upgrade and reconfigure several different systems throughout our home and couldn't be happier with our decision. They installed an extensive indoor and outdoor sound system; upgraded all the AV equipment in our home theatre; and completely reconfigured our home network infrastructure. Scott Sullivan, the owner, had an honest and straightforward approach that we very much appreciated, and everyone on his team was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had the good fortunate of having Rody as our lead guy and felt in very good hands all along the way. Throughout the install, which was lengthy given the scope of the job, Rody was there to answer any and all questions or concerns. He was incredibly responsive, patient and detail-oriented. SoundVision's workmanship is high quality and their customer service is outstanding. I don't often write Yelp reviews, but this is the kind of company that deserves to be recognized. It's very rare to find a place that provides this kind of personal touch and follow-through, so I definitely want to give a shout out to these guys. read more

Sound Vision, & in particular Brian Stang, have impressed me from the beginning. I first met Brian at a children's charity event. His limitless emotional and financial support clearly showed the depth of his heart and compassion. I recently just spent two days touring audio and lighting facilities with Brian was exposed to both his wealth of knowledge and his ability to teach, learn, listen, and share the best ways to server our clients. After 30 years in the industry, it was surprising how much I learned from my time with Brian & Sound Vision. Sound Vision is a great asset to any design team & I look forward to our many collaborations to come. Scott Couture AIA, Couture Architecture. read more

If I could award them six stars, I surely would! We recently renovated our vacation home and updated all of our outdated audio/visual equipment. Knowing that we use our home as a vacation rental, Sound Vision came in with recommendations that were both high quality and easy to use for our guests. The process was seamless and service was both prompt, exacting and thorough from site visit and recommendations to estimates and installation. We loved working with Loren, who provide efficient and friendly service and even helped us create an easy to use instruction manual for our customers. I worked with SoundVision on a full home remodel, which included a Lutron lighting system, Lutron shades, and fiber runs within our home. The experience was top-notch from start to finish. Rody, our main point of contact, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive and thorough in his communication throughout the entire process, and the end result was a setup that we are thrilled to use every day. Soundvision's attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work is second-to-none, and I could not be more pleased with how the project turned out. I would highly recommend them for any AV install project, and I look forward to working with them again in the future. Five stars! read more

We are really appreciative of the great work performed by Loren, Sam and Jared. Our entire AV system needed to be replaced, and they executed the project ahead-of-schedule and below budget. The highlight was the replacement and rewiring of our rack, which was an absolute mess. While working here they were conscientious and respectful of our home. After completing the project, they proactively reached out to make sure everything was performing as expected, and they quickly fixed the small items that need to be tweaked. We highly recommend working with SoundVision. Can't say enough good things about the team there. read more

Starting from the first time I met Rodrigo "Rody" I was impressed with his knowledge and his professionalism. I knew that I did not have to look anywhere further for a company to upgrade my sound system. I had Sonos Sound Bars, speakers and they mounted my new 75" television. Tony and Austin did the installation and electrical. The work is clean. They were very professional and respectful of my house. They cleaned up everything. The sound is amazing just as promised. They game me tutorials and phone numbers in case I needed more help in the future. I highly recommend them for any home entertainment center. Thanks guys, great job. read more

We moved in July and have had the pleasure of working with the SV team. Rody has been our main point of contact and we've really enjoyed working with him. He has been very responsive, professional and attentive to all of our requests. He's made our journey a smooth one as he seems to be caring and always on top of it! We've met other members of the team such as Sam and Rey and Rey specifically has been to our house multiple visits and is so sweet! He's detailed, patient, and has also helped us with other projects we had going on at the time. I always felt safe leaving the project in his hand if I had to run out and he's been also on top of it! Its always a bit scary hiring an AV firm because you never know if they will under or over design and under (never) or over charge. I have experienced the over/over several times! Our experience with SoundVision was easy and stress free. They listened to what we wanted and then developed and executed the plan flawlessly. And they were cost effective. We could not be happier. Great video and sound throughout the house as well as outdoors. The outdoor space was tricky yet they pulled it off. All the team members are respectful and know their stuff. read more

Finding the best vendor to install a home entertainment system can be daunting. How do you find the right company to make the most reliable recommendations, at a fair price, and then complete the installation in a timely, efficient manner? In my case, it was pure luck: my wife saw a SoundVision truck parked in front of a neighbor's house one day and we decided to give them a call. Shortly thereafter, Rody Santamarina, a SoundVision project manager, visited our home, listened carefully to what we were interested in having installed, and within a matter of days, presented us with a thorough, easy-to-understand, written description of our options. Once we made our selections, Rody scheduled an installation date. SoundVision's techs arrived punctually, worked efficiently, and then explained how each of the components of our new system worked. Based on that experience alone, I'd give SoundVision an A+. But there was more: over the next couple of years, minor software issues arose a few times. I'd google the issue, read about various ways of correcting the problem (one proposed resolution often contradicting another), and find myself unable to resolve the problem. Even though these problems weren't SoundVision's responsibility, I emailed Rody, asking for his advice. Each time - every single time - he responded the same day (usually within an hour or two), explaining what to do. Problem solved. And even now, Rody checks in periodically to see how our system is working and asking if we need any assistance. Do your own due diligence, but definitely give SoundVision a call. They're in a class of their own -- 5 stars really aren't enough. read more

SoundVision installed motorized shades in my new home a couple of weeks ago, and I could not be happier with the outcome. When I was researching motorized shade systems, I narrowed my selection down to Lutron shades, and upon some internet research, found Scott and his team at SoundVision, and a couple of other potential vendors. One of the other the vendors we reached out to did not respond to our inquiry. Another vendor, one that worked with us on our home automation system, said that the system could not be installed with our existing electrical wiring and gave us a ridiculous solution and quote. Not to mention they didn't break down the cost of parts and labor in their quote. We ultimately selected Scott and his team to execute this project, based on their professionalism and transparency during the quoting process. Working with SoundVision was fairly straight forward. You have to schedule an initial consultation for them to come out to your house to take a look at the electrical wiring and take measurements. Then, they will provide a quote that details the cost of the parts, labor, and project management. After you approve the project plan and select the type and color of shades that you want, it takes about six weeks to get the parts ordered. We had the shading system installed in six rooms, so the installation took three days. Scott's entire team was incredibly professional and did an excellent job. The shades are beautiful, easy to operate, and super quiet. One thing to note is that it did take a while to move through the entire process: scheduling a consultation, getting a quote, getting shade samples, ordering the shades, and getting the installation scheduled. I sent an inquiry to SoundVision at the end of April and the installation of our shading system was completed at the beginning of September. That being said, it was totally worth the wait! If you're looking to get a motorized shading system in your home, I highly recommend going with SoundVision. read more

Soundvision came to us on the recommendation of one of our neighbors. We could not be more pleased with their service. The project manager Loren did a great job setting things up and the installer Sam was terrific. The job was to relocate numerous pairs of speaker wires into the garage and set up a whole house sound system using Sonos. Sam did a great job and everything was even cleaner than when he started! And, the system fits our need perfectly. We highly recommend Soundvision. read more

I recently expanded my Sonos system to include the sound bar for my television. I couldn't get it properly configured to control the volume. He configured the system quickly and left me smiling! read more

This review is 6 years late. Thats how long ago its been when we discovered SoundVision during our media upgrade in our family room and theater room. 6 years ago, they not only installed five TVs in our home, they also installed Sonos inside and outside our home. Since then, all we've had to do was hit the POWER button to turn on and turn off the media equipment. One of the processes I was impressed with was how to select TVs, Speakers, receivers, and so on. It was simple. They gave you options: GOOD, BETTER and BEST. The equipment they offer are great. You the client get to choose what you want based on your budget. We went with all three options for different equipment and today, 6 years later, everything is still working like it did when it was first installed. Did we encounter any glitches or hiccups after initial installation? Of course we did, it can happen with any electrical work and technology. However, SoundVision lives by their Company Culture (http://www.svsf.com/soundvision-careers/company-culture/) and they were immediately out to our home to make the minor repairs / replace a speaker that was under warranty. We never had a poor work-mans' concern. Scott Sullivan (Owner) and every one of his team members are professional, honest, loyal to their company and their clients. Again, read their company culture (http://www.svsf.com/soundvision-careers/company-culture/) because they mean it and live up to every statement. We love this company so much, that we decided to upgrade our TVs at the end of April 2018. Didn't have to upgrade the sound systems because it still sounds and functions amazingly! We did have them do some pretty big enhancements that involved hiding the theater equipment into a closet and modifying an entertainment unit to hold a larger TV. The work is so professional and beautiful, we are more in love with our media systems and SoundVision. Thank you Rody and your crew for making our second experience pleasurable. Go SoundVision! read more

Fantastic experience working with SoundVision. I trusted the PM Brian Stang from our first meeting. The SoundVision company in Novato proposed a sound system for our house which sounded excellent. The proposal was to replace an existing complicated and problematic system with a simpler set up. We liked the proposal but the actual installation far exceeds our expectations. The system is very easy to use and its versatility makes it much better than the more complicated and more limited system it has replaced. The technician installing the new system is named Michael and he is a Master Technician. He was able to solve any technical problems our set up caused. He does good work and is particularly attentive to the aesthetics of his finished work. read more
