Fast blinds is true to their name -- and so much more. Max and Yuri are incredibly professional businessmen that provide a great balance of personalized service, fast efficiency, and quality products. I found this company through a mail advertisement when we first moved into our house, and decided to take them up on their offer for a free estimate. We met with Max & Yuri and immediately liked their friendly, personable approach. They also offered by far the best value in comparison with several other companies' quotes we received, and so we decided to go for it. That was 2 years ago and since then, we have used Fast Blinds for multiple projects at our home. Almost every room in our home has now been outfitted by this company and we trust no one else to do the job right! They have installed 20+ different shades from blackout to sheer shades, from motorized to chain-drawn, and from bedrooms to bathrooms to commons spaces. Also, I should note that we have not been the easiest of customers ! But Max & Yuri have been super professional to troubleshoot any issues personally and with a very fast turnaround time. On the most recent job, we were unhappy about the new shades that were installed as we felt they too bulky for the space. Max & Yuri patiently worked with us and they ended up replacing them all with smaller customized shades that we were very happy with. We greatly appreciate how much they care about their clients in ensuring complete satisfaction with their products and services. They clearly take great pride in their work and we cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Wow, Etty was so helpful. She made it easy to drop off the shade after hours while we were going to be up in Novato and they fixed our honeycomb shade really fast. Great service. Work well done. read more

Over the course of a year one of the blinds in our house decided to break. Fearing the property management company eating into our deposit we took action. We called fast blinds, and they sent someone by in a few hours to fix it.. Repairs set us back $80. I have no idea if that is a good price or not, but I'm just glad I don't have to worry about it anymore. Fast Blinds indeed. read more

We highly recommend fast blinds. They were fast, reliable, reasonable, and very pleasant. If your blinds break, this should be your first call to make. We dropped off our blinds and they were done in a couple days. Also very careful about the pandemic so we felt safe. Thank you read more

The crew of 2 incompetent individuals run the installation process. The communication skills as well as knowledge of their own product is big fat 0. I should of stopped the entire process right after so called design consultation. Both of the workers could not produce any coherent advise on how to choose the materials and what type of Hunter Douglas product should be suitable. So, we have chosen the materials and colors from the catalog but then it was simple matter of getting the right shutter system to be put in place. I specifically asked the blinds to open from top to bottom. But on the day of installation they have put up blinds opening in reversed direction. They have refused to make any changes. And I realize that we had nothing in writing. No contract, no agreement. It was slightly cheaper then other quote I got. But what a big mistake choosing these guys. Remember - you get what you paid for. I have learned that lesson. Needless to say I will never use this company again. read more

Uri from Fast Blidns was incredible find. He made it easy to figure out exactly what I wanted and could afford. The window treatments he installed look amazing and are of the highest quality. He was a true professional and I could not be happier. read more

Tremendous is how I would rate Fast Blinds. Fair pricing on good products with amazing customer service after the purchase as well. I could not be more happy with my three blinds I chose for my office and garage. Sam and Uri are great to work with and fixed one of my blinds cords that snapped when my "little brother who does not know his own strength" accidentally snapped one of them. I begged them to let me pay for the service call but they refused. This is a company I can't recommend enough to friends and family, if you wants blinds installed without lifting a finger other then to call them this is the place. Thanks Sam and Uri!! read more

I tried fixing my blind myself by watching a U-tube video. It did not work out well. Uri fixed the blind in 2 days. Friendly staff/fast/efficient. read more

Max is always responsive and they did an excellent install! They also beat pricing from all other Hunter Douglas reps. Highly recommend them! After several months there was an issue with one of the cords from Hunter Douglas product and they came out and fixed it the same day we notified them. Can't get better than that! Great guys! read more

Best service ever, and all delivered with a smile too! Can't say enough about these guys - Max installed our blinds when we moved in several years ago, and we've never had an issue...just recently one of the many blinds just wouldn't open. I called Yuri he came out the same day and fixed the blind within less than 15 minutes! HUGE thanks Max & Yuri - you're the best. read more

We recently installed plantation shutters and solar blinds throughout our home and had a fantastic experience with Max and Fast Blinds. I don't usually write reviews but we received such great advice and service! Max was extremely helpful and organized and the installers Daniel and Yuri were highly skilled and fantastic to work with - everyone was very professional and nice throughout the entire process. We had a very challenging window and Yuri was able to custom install a plantation shutter on it - it turned out beautifully! We did our work in stages and everyone was always honest about how long things we would take. The prices were competitive with other local companies but the service was the best. I highly recommend Fast Blinds! Laurie F. read more

We had a real emergency when our big window blind cord broke and the shade dropped down. Now we couldn't open the blind and we had a big group of people coming in a few days for an event. The room would be darkened and no one would be able to see outside into the garden. In a panic I called Fast Blinds and spoke to Barbara who was so understanding and kind. We took the blind in to their shop the following morning and miracle of miracles it was done by Uri that same day. What amazing service, they saved the day for us and were just so great to deal with. If I could give ten stars I would. Barbara was a delight to deal with and Kudos to Uri for getting the job done so quickly. Excellent old fashioned fantastic service. read more

The local owner of the franchise came to my house and repaired a few outdoor sun shades that needed their cords readjusted. The shades were also askew from being blown around by the high winds that occasionally howl through Bel Marin Keys. Although Fast Blinds did not sell me the blinds, he repaired them as if he did, taught me how to perform maintenance on them going forward, and charged me a very reasonable amount for the service. My future business has been earned! Thank you Fast Blinds! read more

These 2 guys are incompetent and do not stand by their word. I used them 2 times and will never use them again. They said they would take care of any problems but I have called them 4 times and they do not call back. Max is very nice until there is a problem and then he makes excuses. You will be sorry if you use these guys. They don't know the products they sell and will leave you high and dry when you call with a problem. Susan F. read more

Just want to thank them again for great service. After installation, I called because one blind seemed to be uneven and another roller shade was not rolling down smoothly. They responded and came over ready to fix it and then I found out it was a user-error that we were doing. They showed us the trick to fix it, and then tweaked the roller shade a bit- everyone including myself were all smiles and they left saying if anything else happened to call them. Super gracious guys and didn't make me feel silly for a small service call. Very glad I went with this company. read more

Very impressed! They were able to fix my blinds when another place told me it couldn't be fixed. They did it in 2 days for a reasonable price. read more

I just used Fast Blinds to replace the old plastic cheap variety, which were placed throughout the vintage home I bought this summer. I had used Home Depot for blinds at my previous home. I liked the service provided by this team much better. They were informative, friendly, prompt and efficient. They didn't try to oversell or get me to spend more money than necessary. Quite the opposite, they got me a good price for a high quality product and educated me along the way while listening carefully to my needs and preferences. The only thing I would have improved is a wider selection of companies whose products they sell. I believe they just work with Hunter-Douglas, a high quality manufacturer. I probably would have had a greater selection of textures to choose from had they also featured another company. That said, I'm happy with what I got, and they did an excellent job with customer service and installation. In just one week I had my new blinds and they look great. I'd return to these fellows rather than to Home Depot, who took a month and gave me an inferior product which wasn't installed in an easy way for me to operate. Kudos to Fast Blinds for living by their name and making this experience pleasant. read more

Fast Blinds thoroughly knows how blinds are put together, so they can fix them quickly, and saved me lots of money. I thought I needed 4 mini-blinds restrung (and have done this a couple of times). Called a big company who didn't return calls. Saw the Yelp recommendations for Fast Blinds, so tried them out. They repaired various parts of the blinds - no need to have them restrung. They were so efficient, doing all the work in just one appointment. Max and Uri are an excellent team and get 5+ stars. read more

I had new blinds/shades in my whole house done by Fast Blinds. They were very helpful and efficient. One blind that was ordered later came in at the wrong size, and they quickly took care of replacing it. Uri is the best! He promptly called me back after I left a message. He showed up when he said he was and gave me a very reasonable quote. He saved me $100's by using an existing door shutter that I thought would no longer work. That sold me immediately. There are lots of folks out there that would have simply charged me extra since I already believed that's what I needed! When he came back to make the repairs they were done efficiently and perfectly; I couldn't be more happy with Fast Blinds. read more

We've used Max for some time and he always gets the job done! He's very professional, timely and reasonable. Happy to give proposals/estimates when needed, and can fix blinds as well as buy/install new ones. Very fast (hence, Fast Blinds)! Highly recommended to our clients and we use them regularly as well. read more

Our landlord installed blinds from Fast Blinds, installed by a guy named Max. One of the blinds, in a bedroom seldom used, broke shortly after we moved in, when we used the wand to 'tilt open' the blinds. Calling Max to schedule him to come out has been fruitless; after many months he has blown off my request to have him come out and make a simple repair. I would avoid this company and this guy because they do not take customer service at all seriously and they sell a shoddy product. read more

Max and Uri are professional, friendly and prompt! Max responded to my yelp quote request the same day and is always responsive whenever I've reached out via phone. We ordered some plantation shutters and they took care of everything from the ordering to complete installation. We are very happy with the results and the service they provided. Highly recommend if in the market for reasonably priced Hunter Douglas window treatments! read more

I have had Max and Uri out to my house "TWICE" to install blinds. Not only are these guys fast, efficient, professional they are lovely to work with. I have nothing but TOP NOTCH customer service and quality from them. Plus the prices are very reasonable. They will be returning to finish off the rest of my house!!!! Thanks guys!! read more

I try to seek out local business before I order merchandise from the big box stores as I am a firm believer in supporting our community's local businesses. Fast Blinds in Novato was an outstanding choice for us. Uri and Max, two brothers who own and manage this business, pride themselves on their excellent customer service. From the moment I called them, I found them to be prompt, reliable and very knowledgeable. I especially appreciated their recommendations for the best window shades and blinds to meet our needs and budget. This past week, Fast Blinds finished installing the new wood (faux) blinds and roller shades throughout our home. The end result is more beautiful than I imagined. Thank you, Fast Blinds, for your outstanding service. And a big thank you to Ms. Barbara--the office manager--for all of her invaluable assistance, as well! I highly recommend Fast Blinds for anyone in the market for quality window coverings. read more

These guys are really pros. Everything you always wanted as a customer and beyond. They were prompt, responsive, quickly fixed a blind in a home we just moved into. Uri saw another blind off kilter and fixed it and didn't even charge us. Courteous and respectful as well. Thank you Max and Uri! We made an appointment with Fast Blinds after one of their competitors made us wait almost 3 months for an appointment and were then extremely rude to us. So we decided not to use the competitor and called Fast Blinds instead. They came out within days, gave us a fair quote, and made the whole process pretty painless. There was a tiny snafu with the order being ready in time, but it was only delayed by a few days - and then the installation process was seamless. Will be using these guys anytime we need blinds! read more

We had these guys out about a month ago to install some honeycomb blinds in our master bedroom. Couldn't be happier! We had a bad experience with Budget Blinds - we were promised window coverings in 8 weeks - and it took 9 months (and the billing got a little shady - the rep was just plain awful to work with and difficult to get a hold of). When Fast Blinds called within a week of placing our order and told us they were ready for installation - I thought to myself "finally a blinds company that's true to their word and follows through!" They were super friendly and knowledgeable both on the phone and during the installation. If we have any future blinds needs, we won't be using anyone else! read more

Max and Uri are awesome. I love my new blinds! They make a huge difference and my house looks great. Thank you Max and Uri!!!

The cord to our rather large bedroom blind broke. I called Fast Blinds and was told that they would be out the next day between 10 and 11 am. It was only a few minutes past 10 when Max and Uri arrived. They took the blind down and set to work replacing the cord. It wasn't long before their work was done and the blind rehung. The price was also reasonable. I had called another blind repair shop and was told that they would need to take the blind into the shop and that it would take between 7 and 10 days for the repairs. This took between 10 and 25 minutes. I really recommend these two men. read more

We purchased a home in Strawberry 3 years ago. Recently the mechanism for raising and lowering the master bedroom blind broke. We called Fast Blinds and Max came over to look at the problem yesterday morning. As it turned out, Fast Blinds had installed the blinds in our house about 5-7 years ago. Max didn't have the correct part; but returned later that same day and fixed the problem. The service was outstanding; but what took us by complete surprise, Max wouldn't accept payment for the job...it is part of the company's service to exisiting customers! I highly recommend Fast Blinds to anyone looking for new sales or service. www.fastblinds.com. 415-883-6667 read more

I highly recommend this company. Max was very helpful in assisting me with the many choices, and I am very pleased with the result. Well here we go again, another 5 star review. Fast Blinds just yesterday installed plantation shutters in my home in Novato and everything about the experience was EXACTLY what a customer would want -- from Barbara's (the office manager) attentive and responsive care, to Max's great knowledge and experience showing us what was available and making intelligent and thoughtful recommendations and offering us a great price, to Uri's installation yesterday. Everything went right, nothing went wrong. These people know how to conduct business, and they are extraordinarily friendly and skilled at what they do.
