I don't want to leave a bad review because I did enjoy my coffee but the ice machine they had in front was either broken and old or really dirty. I hadn't noticed anything until my boyfriend saw the lady making our coffees grab ice out of there. They were grabbing ice from the back and putting it in the machine in the front, but at that point might as well keep it out of the machine. It had white stuff all over it so idk if it broke recently and they might be fixing it ?? Also, I paid $10.50 for a medium latte with an extra shot and almond milk. My drink was clearly ready, but as soon as I approached the counter, she moved it away and started whispering to another colleague while completely ignoring me. She wouldn't even make eye contact. This place is honestly good but they lose points for me because they always "sell out" of matcha. They also started cleaning up at 4:30pm even though they close at 5pm. It was like they said that they sold out of matcha so that they didn't have to make a drink for me even though I was there well before closing time. If you don't want to make drinks after 4:30pm then close at that time! read more

This cute little shop is aesthetically pleasing. The coffees/ pastries and service is even more satisfying, I was unaware of the time they closed so the owner opened up the shop to help me with my order. I think the matcha is good quality but they have it as a concentrate in a bottle, not fresh whisked. The oat milk is only $0.50, but the base prices are a bit much. So I'm not sure if I'll go back. I prefer hand whisked and both the matcha and milk weighed out. I ordered the plain matcha latte with one pump sugar syrup. read more

I'm so sad that I don't live closer to Soulsweets Coffee, I was in the area and looked up a local coffee shop and came across this place. They don't have a sign outside the shop with the official name but don't let that stop you from going in (we were about to drive away). I got the pink dream drink and my boyfriend got the one with pistachio (I do t remember the name) the cold foam was so tasty and the pistachio butter tasted so good mixed with the drink. I drove all the way from Burbank hoping to enjoy a good coffee, only to be incredibly disappointed. Arrived around 3:20 PM, and to my surprise, the place was already closed -- even though their Instagram clearly states they're open until 5 PM. There was no phone number listed to contact them, so I couldn't confirm their hours or if they might be open briefly. What really stood out was the lack of professionalism: the lights were still on, and their "Coffee" sign was still hanging at the door, giving the impression they were open. I even hoped maybe they had just stepped away briefly, but no sign of life. The neighbor next door, who owns a business nearby, called the girl working there or perhaps the owner, and was told she had already left for the day. While the coffee might be good, the way they're running their business--poor communication, unclear hours, and no effort to inform customers--is extremely disappointing. Also, I believe in respecting other people's time. It's important to be grateful that someone takes the time out of their day to run a local shop, especially when there's a Starbucks just around the corner. If you're looking for a reliable spot, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

The door made a loud sound and she looked at me as if I did something wrong she did not greet me and just turned around and went back to making a drink. I approached the register and still no greeting I was ignored and finally when the girl helped me she was so dry not friendly at all I almost wanted to just leave. Not a place to sit down though considering the chairs are impossibly small and my knees are higher than the table when I sit down which is impressive considering I'm pretty short. The parking is all street parking but I live in the neighborhood and there's usually plenty of spots available. They were out of bagels when I went mid afternoon so get there early. This coffee shop is amazing - my favorite things: aesthetic/ambiance, size of coffee (largest size is 4 shots espresso!), and menu is very diverse with eispanner latte, and mango/ube/strawberry matchas. I got vanilla latte 1/2 sweet- the coffee was pretty good with overall 4.5/5 taste.
