Such a calm vibe here. Artisan boba and specialty coffee. I had a chance to meet the owner and he talked about the inspiration behind his business: what a beautiful vision brought to life. The barista was super friendly and helped us figure it what we wanted -he made my dad an amazing Americano since he was looking for a drip coffee but they didn't have that. I love that you can customize the amount of sugar. And we had to get some of that cake. read more

Soule' is a cool coffee shop located in Fondren. Great coffee and it's a good place to work -- or create. Chill vibes, lots of natural light. In addition to coffee, they serve bubble tea, mocktails, and large slices of cake. The owner was on-site on my first visit - very nice and welcoming. My favorite coffee shop in Jackson. Really excellent selection of espresso, Thai tea, chai, and others. Perfect atmosphere with music at the right volume and people in focus mode all around you. The decor is very cool and you always learn a little something about the world if you take your time to browse through some of the books and other displays. The owner is friendly and a very unique guy (ask him about his music career!!). Overall just an awesome Third Space. read more

This place has been open for a while but I always believe in giving a new place a chance to work out the kinks before I go. I think I could have gone opening day and been just has satisfied as I was during my first of many visits. The owner, Ezra Brown, is super nice. He explains various drinks to you, as they have a variety of hot and cold drinks. Ordering was confusing my first though because you order through the iPad. I have gone so many times that I'm a pro at it now. I have tried the peach green tea and it was ok. My favorite is the flavored lemonades with various boba pearls. They do live music some days so it's really nice to sit on and sip on your beverage. read more

I really love the ambiance of this restaurant as a whole. It is aesthetic and a great place to study/work for the day. In terms of their bubble tea/boba, I have to give low marks. I understand that they use a jelly of sorts for their boba - but it was really not an enjoyable choice. The "boba" is harder and not as flavorful as the traditional type. I would've enjoyed my drink much more if it had the regular kind. I had the taro and found it to not be properly mixed. I know some bubble tea is done with a powder - but it's typically blended so well that you are left with a creamy drink. My drink here at Soule' was left grainy and you can literally see the powder particles form a layer at the top. Overall, I really wanted to love this place. I was craving bubble tea so badly in Jackson but was left disappointed. I would highly recommend upgrading to proper tapioca boba. read more

A surprising find in a Jackson strip mall, this place offers a wide variety of beverages. The ordering console apparently confused me into ordering an iced beverage rather than a hot one. However, my strawberry matcha was a lovely presentation regardless, and the seedy strawberry paste at the bottom added just the right flavor contrast. Various alternative milks were available at a charge, and plenty of beverage alternatives. I wasn't blown away by their food selection, but to have a fascinatingly decorated space to sit and enjoy a beverage, particularly a space that was open with generous hours, was a win, and the quality of beverage was about what I'd hoped. read more

This place had a delicious brown sugar latte, no real boba, though. They had a really good substitute, which they call brown sugar gummies. I'm not exactly sure what they were, but they made the drink perfect. The hot vanilla bean latte with a shot of mocha was amazing, hands down the best I've had east of the Mississippi River. Almost 5 stars, if it wasn't for the not so warming welcome for asking questions about their products. I'll be back when visiting Jackson. read more

Cool, hip bubbletea place located in Fondren. My friend and I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon after a walk through the town. The ordering process is more of a 'build your own tea' style. I ordered a lemonade refresher with mixed fruit, added dragonfruit syrup with strawberry boba. It was delicious! Unfortunately I am now counting my calories, so next time I'll dial back the sweetness. (You can change the level of sweetness added to the drink) Paid around $5 for a 20 ounce cup. My first time at Soule was pretty good. The barista was kind and made good drinks. I was very excited to go back. However, my second visit was a totally different experience. The drink was TERRIBLE. My friends had mobile orders and the barista (an older guy -- different person from the first guy) was so busy talking to a friend that he didn't know he had mobile orders to make. My favorite coffee shop in Jackson. Great location! The vibe there is great for collaboration projects. Laid back atmosphere makes it great for just relaxing, too. All of the coffee drinks are very good . My new drink is the Ginger Lemonade. The ginger gets your attention with the lemonade soothes your body . Don't forget to get a slice of cake. It took me a second to realize you order on an iPad, but I loved this place. They had really tasty boba and a good atmosphere to meet up with friends or sit to read. The drinks are endlessly customizable and the guy behind the counter helped me make a decision. They started out as a food truck, but have obviously done well enough to get a permanent space. How is this a boba spot but does not sell boba?! All I wanted was some tapioca boba in my drink and told they don't carry that.

There isn't much food to choose from but the coffee was REALLY DELISH. The environment was inviting and relaxing. Service was amazing.

If you're looking forward to drinking sugar milk and support a pretentious owner than this is the place for you. Walked no one greeted me I was the only customer in the store. The owner walked off to the back as I made my way to the register. I walked up to the POS to my surprise I had to put in my own order. There's 36 items on the menu and each item has about 16 mods so this took a minute. While I was entering this order the owner was asking me what was my order so he can get started on it. What was the point of me putting in my order if you were gonna ask me anyways? So the whole ordering process is a fiasco. He didn't have the whole milk that came with it (it wasn't oat or almond so nothing out the ordinary) I get the drink took my first sip and was wow he put jelly instead of boba like I had order. Come to find out it's premade boba from a can. Not the tapioca pearls you cook with brown sugar. read more
