    Spicy grilled chicken ramen bowl

Ambiance is on point, the food was amazing! The lychee martini is to die for! The service was very very slow tonight. Not sure what was going on but it took well over 10 mins to get my martini. The food also took quite a while after we ordered as well.

My favorite ramen spot!!! The food tastes amazing. Perfect level of spice. Service is always fast and friendly. Beautiful atmosphere

I had the shoyu ramen which was delicious! The bamboo shoots were a great texture. The neon signs coupled with the perfect amount of dimness offered a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and got to watch our server make the drinks which were great as well. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful atmosphere and kind staff! Wasn't very crowded and sat at the bar. Got a drink, which was good, and two bowls. Both were delicious and GREAT portions for the cost. The fried chicken was incredible and wasn't expected. We were pleasantly surprised overall and will be back.

I got dinner here while staying in Jackson on a GA-TX road trip. I was surprised to find such a good ramen restaurant in this city, but upon further research this neighborhood (Fondren) seems like a central landmark, and has a hippie vibe. A restaurant nearby (Brent's Drugs) was featured in "The Help". I got the special Tomato Parmesan Ramen, Chashu Bun, and Green Tea Ice Cream. Everything was great! The Chashu bun probably could have used more seasoning and the chashu meat wasn't as tender as I'd have liked. The ramen flavor was unlike anything I've ever tried which was so cool. And the ice cream was a refreshing way to end the meal.

I was surprised by how it tasted for being in Mississippi. It's not authentic, but still delicious if you're craving some curry or ramen. I thought the curry was a bit sweet, but the katsu was more tender then expected. Service was average. Overall, I would go back for some ramen.

Delicious food and cool ambiance with robot serving machines. The tonkotsu ramen was superb and now fried lotus root is my favorite ramen topping! Don't forget to try the crepe cake for dessert!

Shoyu ramen with black garlic oil and woodear mushroom added

Mar 2023 2.5 I'd say. Came in to scratch an itch. Honestly, one of the only options in the area so had to check it out. The decor and layout seems well organized depending on what kind of night you're there for. An alcohol bar for drinks or a date night, a lower seated bar for the eat and run, and some tables in the back for larger groups. I was at the actual bar, and service was easy since the bartender was right there. He'd check in often though. I had ordered a shoyu ramen with black garlic oil and woodear mushrooms added. I also got a seaweed salad to start. The ramen was forgettable and the amount paltry. The broth had no flavor which was almost worse with the black garlic oil since there was nothing savory or umami to balance off of. I'd definitely prefer it much hotter as well. The amount of ingredients and noodles left a lot to be desired. Barely any woodear for a 3 dollar addition, way too much bamboo shoot to take up space, and not enough noodles which didn't have any bite or spring anyway. The roast pork it came with is just pork belly but didn't taste like much either. And the egg? Not worth mentioning. Seems like the place is new though. Perhaps it just needs some time to adjust. Considering the lack of competition though, I'd consider stopping by if in the area just to see if there were improvements over time but only that.

Delicious, authentic Japanese food, in a cool modern setting. Service was very prompt, and our waiter was helpful with the menu explanation, as we were first-time visitors. Our appetizers were delicious gyoza (pork dumplings) and spicy cucumbers-which our waiter warned were spicy! Indeed, they were, so my companion enjoyed most of them. I had a sample and the flavor was delicious, but then came the heat! :) I had the signature ramen (first one listed, with pork belly) and my companion had the katsu curry rice Donburi. We each thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Portions were ample. I also had the shrimp tempura as an add-on, and that is the only item I might hesitate to recommend only because it was so oily. For $4.99, two shrimp coated with crispy panko. If you don't mind the oil, give it a try. Everything was served hot, cooked to order. They also have a robot waiter so you almost feel like you are in Japan! I didn't get our human server's name, but he was excellent. There was also a full bar. We will be back!

    Curry with pork cutlet

Go for the ramen. Delicious ramen in a rich broth. Mike had the spicy creamy one with the sliced pork. It was delicious. Now for my dish. The server, who was super sweet, said she loved the curry. I'm a sucker for red, green and yellow Thai curry. This is none of those. It's like a thick gravy, Indian type curry. The pork cutlet was really nice but I'm no fan of Japanese curry. To each his own but I share this in the event you've never Japanese curry. Go for the ramen. It's amazing.

    Spicy Chicken Ramen

This is the third time I've been to this place and it's so delicious! I went the first time with my friends, and that was the first time I've ever had Ramen before and from my first time I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I would like it. I haven't think about broth. But it was 10/10! This time in the photo I went with my mom and she loved it as well! She can be a little picky so I was very grateful that she liked it. The service was good as well. And the ambience was so creative on the inside. I love the mural in the back by the bathrooms.

Our group of three went for the first time today. Service was good. The gyoza was fantastic! I had the smoked brisket ramen, my party got the spicy miso ramen & chicken katsu ramen Delicious!

We were greeted shortly by our waiter Caden. Our waiter was extremely polite and very attentive. I can only speak in the items I personally tried the watermelon jalapeño margarita was a 7.5/10. There wasn't a strong watermelon flavor and there really wasn't a kick from the jalapeño. The bartender wasn't definitely not shy with the liquor but it wasn't over powering. The shrimp and crab ceviche was probably a 8/10 ( could've been a 9/10 but it had cucumbers in it). It had a tad bit too much lime juice or lime taste. The shrimp and crab dip was delicious! 9/10. Fresh chips as well. I really enjoyed the pickled red onion addition was really good. Overall Saltine has a great menu selection, warm and welcoming vibe.

That was delicious. Also got the lobster and crawfish dip ok and one can never go wrong with calamari which was also good. For dinner, I had the salmon and grits and kale. It was ok because not quite what I was expecting - I was expecting spicy and it was too sweet for me but might be my fault for not fully reading the description and being focused on the Cajun seared aspect of it. It was still good though. Nothing superb but filling and loved the crunchy kale on top. Really liked that they were open on a Monday and they were fast. At one point, too fast because one of my co- diner's dinner came too soon while still eating their salad. For dessert, we got the cinnamon roll cheesecake and shared it. I only had one bite because it was too rich for me but it was very tasty and good. Unfortunately, we didn't get the oysters which is THE item to get here but it was otherwise a good visit.

The location was decently decorated and seemed to be clean and it wasn't too noisy for our table of four to eat and have conversation without competing with neighboring tables overall, a fantastic experience, price and value were definitely good. After looking over the menu, I was impressed with the selection of meat and vegetables included in the buffet, more than similar Korean buffets I have been to. I also liked the number of available sauces to further season the food. Service was fast and efficient. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken and filled shortly afterward. Staff was really friendly and helpful when we had questions. Soon, our order of meats and veggies arrived and the cooking began. The containers tend to take a fair amount of space on the already small tables so keep that in mind if you order a wide variety of meats. We had to stack the containers as we cooked the meat but the server removed them pretty quickly. One really neat feature of the tables I enjoyed was a plate warmer at each seat location, at least in the booths. That helped keep the cooked meat warm while waiting for the other cooking food to complete. Very nice touch. I will definitely return the next time. I'm in town.

It includes cooked starters such as rice, noodles, spicy chicken, spring rolls, wontons, gyoza, etc.. and many protein and veggie options to cook yourself. The beef bulgogi and flank steak were awesome! Shrimp was nice and fresh. The meat is already marinated, but there is also a spice and sauce bar in case you want to take it up a notch. I put a mixture of green onion, minced garlic and cilantro on the beef **chef's kiss**. Note: Other than the short rib, they give you a hefty portion of meat per selection. I suggest maybe ordering 1 or 2 meats per person and if you want more or to try something different later, request it at that time because there is a $13 per lb up-charge for wasting food. Price for the all-you-can-eat buffet is $30.99pp (at the moment). Yakiniku does have lunch specials, value packages for groups, bento boxes, and options if you don't want to cook yourself, but that is really part of the experience and it's super easy. Ambiance is family-friendly, good for groups. Overall, I loved it! A few things that I think would provide a better experience: - If the servers clean or switch out the grill like at other KBBQ spots once it gets dry or too charred. You could probably just request this though. - Different tongues or handlers for each meat instead of one since you're dealing with raw meat (and maybe some sanitizing wipes at the table).
