Not really impressed at all. For the price I paid, I wish we would have gone somewhere else. Everyone was nice and the place is clean. We wanted hibachi and decided to hit this place up since it was by church. We ordered and took a seat and our food came out in styrofoam containers. Really didn't expect the only difference between our order and a take-out order would be a bag. We ordered edamame as an app and it came out with everything all at once. The guy just walked over and plopped all the containers down without saying a word and walked off. My and my wife's steak was overcooked and her scallops were rubbery. Portion size was big, but I had very few vegetables. For a $50 lunch sit-down lunch, I guess my expectations were too high. Will certainly go to an actual hibachi restaurant from now on. read more

The 3 times I've been to Madison, MS to visit my cousin I make sure to stop at Rice Cafe and order the Shrimp Fried Rice. I really like that they don't put Carrots & Peas in their Fried Rice (YUCK). I also like their fried vegetable Spring Rolls. The restaurant is clean. The customer service I've receive has been great. We order our food to go and it's done within 15 mins. There's inside seating and plenty of parking. You should try this place when you want some good Chinese food. read more

Every now and then I find myself to be very pleasantly surprised by a restaurants food and a restaurant to be highly underrated. This is one of those times. I did not eat in. I took my food to go. However on the inside the restaurant was extremely clean and it was well lit. It had padded seating and this was very comfortable while I waited. The employees were attentive and friendly. They smiled and had courteous casual conversation. The restrooms were also incredibly clean. There is no shared restroom. It's one person at a time. There are two of them. One for men and one for women. You can close and lock the door. The building seems new and much of the furnishings also new. I ordered Tempura Shrimp and vegetables and an order of shrimp fried rice. The tempura shrimp and vegetables came with an ample side of fried rice and a salad. It's price was $18.00 and some change. The extra order of shrimp fried rice was $11.99 I believe. I was given a large quantity of food. Larger than I would have imagined. I've order Tempura shrimp and vegetables at restaurants outside of Madison, MS such as in Dallas, TX, Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA and other places and the portions were no where near this size. This was a lot of food. And all of it was cooked fresh to order and seasoning perfectly. It was hot, and fresh and they also gave me an ample portion of sweet soy or duck sauce and some other creamy sweet sauce. Those were delicious as well. I'm thinking just wow. Only 3 Yelp reviews? I have tried this place a few times and really like it. The sushi is fresh and the Nigiri pieces are large. If you call ahead of time your order will be ready or you can go online. My wife has tried hibachi and has enjoyed it. I would recommend this place they just opened, Give them a try I don't think you'll be disappointed. The dining area is small so I have ordered to go. Just tried this place for the first time. I ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi and the shrimp and scallop hibachi. Of course it came with rice and vegetables and a side salad. I like that they give you a nice size container of pink sauce with your food. I also ordered the shrimp tempura and fried wontons appetizers. I didn't like that the wontons only came with 2 packets of duck sauce and not the red sweet&sour sauce. They were good though. For sushi, I ordered the California Roll and the Madison Roll. Really good. I got my food to go. The dining area is pretty small in there. They have about 6 tables total (mostly booths). It was super busy. First off, im big on clean spaces, while i didn't sit and dine just walking in i was very pleased! On to the food, it was very good and hot! I got the Mushroom Soup and I was blown away at the flavors, best ive ever had. I also got a Spicy Snow Crab Roll, I added avocado and cucumber it was very fresh, not fishy at all, which is aways a bummer so I was so pleased. My kids and huabnd got chicken and HBD Steak it was also good, my husbands only complaint was his veggies werent very soft but to each their own.
