Fresh bread with ravioli in mushroom sauce
    Renee J T.

This little shop takes pasta to a whole new level. It's mainly a take out but there are two comfy chairs I think you can sit in and enjoy your pasta Owner chef run The day I visited three ravioli choices with 4 sauce choices I opted for spinach feta ravioli with mushroom sauce Made fresh while I waited The front case had some tasty looking pastries I'm never one to pass on a pastry and got a cruffin Pasta was piping hot delicious the sauce was creamy savory a perfect accompaniment to the ravioli The owner chef mentioned she put bread in too Oh my goodness I don't know where this bread was from but it was so good and so fresh I soaked up ever last bit of sauce with it. This was one of the best pasta meals I have ever eaten, seriously! The only thing was finding parking on a side street but do not let that deter you this shop is 100% worth it. Saved my cruffin for breakfast because after my pasta dinner I was too full for another bite. The cruffin deserves it own review a house made flakey pastry not too sweet a perfect breakfast treat I will for sure be back

What an awesome new spot! This spot followed me on Google so I just had to try them out. They are mostly focused on pasta and sandwiches. They also have sauces made in house. I tried their spinach and ricotta ravioli with marinara sauce and their Nutella cruffin. The pasta was very good and clearly homemade. They use a great amount of filling. The spinach tastes super fresh and the ricotta is pretty creamy as well. The homemade tomato sauce was also very good. It's simple, nothing crazy, but just well made. Topped with some tasty cheese too! They also give you 2 pieces of bread with your pasta order. I'm not sure if the bread is made in house, and it was just okay. Personally, I'd prefer the bread be served separately from the pasta (like not in the same container) since it got very soggy. The cruffin I got was super delicious. I've never had this dessert before, but it was so, so good. Great amount of Nutella. Perfectly buttery and crispy on the sides. Nice and softer interior. Great. All in all, definitely check this place out. The prices are super fair and the food is very good, and clearly homemade. Great pasta and desserts.

Ordered the fried gnocchi through Uber Eats after seeing it as a new restaurant available and so glad I did! The marinara sauce is sooo good, and I'm picky about my sauces. Also came with fresh bread which was also yum. Excited to have this as a new ordering place!

Wonderful hole in the wall! The ravioli had a deep flavor and perfectly cooked pasta. Made fresh as soon as we ordered, came out piping hot. The hostess was friendly and provided great suggestions for what to choose. Overall extremely happy and would come again!

I was in the area on business and decided to try this restaurant on a whim. This restaurant's quality is tremendous. The pasta is absolutely phenomenal and don't get me started. If you're just passing through the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for some top notch eats. I almost forgot to shout out the family operated staff, they are fantastic and you can honestly tell they have passion for what they do. I may be a couple hundred miles from home, but I will come here again.

Beautiful interior. The food is tasty and well priced as well. In particular, I recommend the caprese sandwich. Finally, the staff are quite friendly.

Getting a spot in a class is very hard since they are limited to 6-8 people, but if you get the chance I absolutely recommend it. The classes are 2 hours long each and are extremely intimate. Bryan and Justin will meet you at the door and will introduce you to their workshop. There is a spread of antipasto to snack on which was curated very well. Each person gets to make 4 (four!!) dozen raviolis each. The class is extremely informative and fun. I personally haven't ordered any of their ravioli drops before, but from eating the batch I personally made, I know I will in the future. Highly recommend ordering their raviolis online or taking the class if it's available.

It's a fun experience and I will definitely do it again.

I like veal a lot and that is what I got and I would say it was good enough. I did appreciate the noodles and sauce for sure - very good. The breaded crust on the veal was also tasty. Wish the bread they served was even close to warm, though. This reminds me of a place that neighborhood people frequent.

However, walking in - the bar area, it reminded me of a bar rescue location. We scampered to the dining room, which wasn't too big and were sat. There were several areas inside that there was NO ONE dining in. Never a good sign if you're dead on a Saturday night. Anyway. The waitress was a younger woman who was really attentive and very friendly. She was handling three tables (only three occupied) and doing it with a smile. We passed on appetizers mainly bc there wasn't much to go with there - and ordered entrees - me a chicken parm (to those who read my stuff: yes shocking development). It came with a small salad, which was standard. The chicken parm was ok. The penne pasta sidecar was good - al dente and the sauce was a nice tangy gravy. The chicken was ok. They were trying atleast but it was very bland, and the fry didn't stay on the chicken. Flaked off very easy. Don't know. We decided to share a cannoli, which I took one bite of and the mascarpone obviously had curdled or spoiled but I spat it out. And for me to spit out a dessert - that's not good. At all. Just ok. Seems like they may need a renovation or a burst of energy other than our waitress.

At first, I was a little worried about the Nordic seafood cuisine and whether there would be enough options for less adventurous people in our party. But it turns out there's a great selection of dishes for everyone. The roasted half chicken with the incredible lingonberry sauce is one of my favorite dishes of all time. I think the waiter mentioned it was brined overnight for a few days, which makes it unbelievably juicy. The starters are phenomenal as well. They showcase so many unique flavors, textures, and combinations. One of our favorites was the steak tartare, and they had a scallop crudo special that was especially refreshing. If you can make a reservation, I highly recommend it. However, if you can't, they usually offer walk ins but in a separate bar dining area (mostly under red lights). One time we lined up a few minutes before opening, and there were at least 10 people ahead of us, but I think everyone still ended up getting seated. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I started off with a creative cocktail called a "Silky" made with rum, basil, centerbe, citrus syrup, lime, and buttermilk. It was so good that I had to have another. The Orange King Salmon gravlax with cultured butter, and cured egg yolk immediately got my attention, and it was as satisfying as it sounded on the menu. My daughter insisted that I get the roast half chicken with linganberries and soft farmers cheese. It was a flavorful and juicy stand out on the menu. I could not pass up the sourdough spatzle, which was rich and balanced, and made perfectly with crème fraîche, peas, grana pandano and herbs. At the end of my meal, I was served a wonderful natural dessert wine that was well paired with the creamy buttermilk Panna cotta with ginger and black currant. How lucky are we to have this gem of a restaurant in Pittsburgh? I could eat this same meal every day of my life!

The venue is beautifully decorated and though it's small, they do a nice job with spacing of the tables for all the guests they can accommodate at once. They are also BYOB, but offer a QR code for a neighboring wine shop who will deliver any bottle you select and pay for via the QR code at your table - This is great because they don't charge a corking fee when you do this, but if you do bring your own, they charge a modest corking fee, I think $8. Their menu is excellent... it's filled with so many appetizing options! We started with their stuffed peppers - OMG, EXCELLENT!! Any time I'm in the Pittsburgh area I need to try a few things, this being one of them. These were probably some of the best I've ever had! The sauce was finely ground and really flavorful. The peppers were perfectly cooked to keep their beauty and texture and they were spicy too! We also requested a large order of their table bread and asked for a side of EVOO with it. I sprinkled grated pecorino and freshly ground red chili flakes into the EVOO to make an incredible dipping sauce which worked perfectly with that bread! For my entrée I enjoyed their amazing Spinach Tagliatelle which came perfectly presented and tasted amazing! The spinach was perfectly cooked to the proper texture and the sauce was so good I didn't mind it having eggplant in it (which I hate). Save room for dessert, their panna cotta was great! We got the smoked gouda and nduja pizza & scallop mezzaluna (with the latter as part of their new year menu). Honestly, the pizza was way better than I expected, I'd say the best of these two dishes. It was thin but well flavored with the gouda, tad spiciness (or rather kick) from the salami, and creaminess of the roasted squash. I don't normally like white pizza nor squash on my pizza(?), but this tasted rather good and unique! The scallop mezzaluna was as if the scallop was a ravioli filling. So the dish came with 9 half moonish pasta/raviolis served in a very simple sauce of lemon and processo. It was okay, my first time trying something like this but I wish there was more or had an oomph to it. I'd love to come back here and try more of their pizzas!

As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a vegetarian option with both a cheese and an egg and cheese version. GF and I shared and it is not a bad sandwich to share bc the thing is massive. That isn't to say that I couldn't have eaten another half bc I absolutely could have. The thing is so large and busting with ingredients I wondered how I could fit it for a bite but where there's a will, there's a way. It was excellent. What a great combo of flavors and textures. Opened up one of the sandwiches to share and nicely the sandwich was cut in half already. Just need to tear the paper wrapper to separate. As you may know, sandwich has Cole slaw and fries on it, so it's thick. Preferred the capicola over the pastrami. Decent amount of meat on the sandwich but waaaayyy more fries than anything. The close slaw adds some crunch and tartness to a pretty mild sandwich. Overall, food was underwhelming. I'd stop by again but for some kielbasa or something ethnic.
