I've been searching for a tailor and place to get items altered. I finally found the place!!! Kind, professional, and helpful but also very talented and willing to make recommendations on how to improve the look of a dress/item. I took in eight items including dresses, pants, and also a leather jacket. Very reasonable pricing considering what needed to be done on them. I definitely will be back! Tip: the storefront is in the back of the shopping area and has a dedicated parking spot for customers. Cash is preferred but you can pay with electronic payments if you're willing to cover the fee. read more

Updated review: once again, I can't say enough wonderful things about Sotelo's. My daughter's birthday dress came in the mail a bit too large in the waist and long in length. We called to see if there was availability for us to come in same day for a fitting and they got us in 30 minutes later. The staff is so sweet and accommodating for my daughter to feel comfortable to change. She tried on the dress, addressed our concerns, and the owner understood everything we were needing. We came back a week later to a dress that fit her like it was made for her! They even fixed the zipper attachment at no cost. Sotelo's is amazing! I dropped by with 5 different alterations needing done. The owner was patient and methodical in his measurements. I had one vintage dress that needed the sleeves shortened, but was also missing two unique buttons on the cuff. He said he would try to find a match but would likely have to mix and match buttons, which I was fine with. He gave me a pick up receipt, and the price notedwas fair. A week later I picked up the items, and wouldn't you know it, he FOUND EXACT MATCHES FOR THE BUTTONS! He said he had two in his button stash! Great tailor! I brought in two pairs of pants for alterations, one to be hemmed, and another to be taken in. I dropped off on Friday and they were ready for pickup by Tuesday. The quality was perfect; the new hem on the pants is invisible (as it was before) and the pants that were taken in look great, you'd never be able to tell they were taken in unless you knew. The prices were in line with what I expected for the type of alterations, and considering the turnaround I'd say well worth the price. Will definitely use Sotelo's again! read more

I stopped at another shop, but they were closed on Monday (the day I had available to drop off). Sotelo's was the next closest alteration to home. I was in & out with measurements for 4 pair of slacks in about 5 minutes. I needed 1 pair the next afternoon, when I stopped to get them, all 4 were ready for pick up! Only draw back was that this is a "cash only" business. Not a huge deal, just glad I had what I needed without having to make a stop at the ATM. read more
