I am leery of trying new walk in massage places because I am nervous if it could be a "sketchy" place but this one was very nice and I believe it is a reputable business. I am extremely stressed and really pampered myself with a 2hr body massage/foot combo (cash price was 123.60 I believe, it's discounted for cash). I felt very comfortable with the ladies there and didn't mind removing g my clothing for my massage with oil. The masseuse kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable and not cold or in pain. I have quite a few medical issues and scars and she kept making sure she wouldn't do anything to hurt me. She was a lil nervous to massage my swollen foot but I assured her she wouldn't hurt me, it's an old injury from a car wreck and so she continued massaging. She did make recommendations to help me, she said I should have acupuncture and cupping, I gathered she was saying there was a guy there that does it but I did not want to do that. When I was finished with my massage which automatically included oil, hot stones and hot towels I felt relaxed and pain free (that's very rare for me!) at the counter to pay they gave me a cup of barley tea. When I scheduled it, the owner made sure I knew to take a quiz (they provide the link) to learn my dasha. I then could text her the details so they would have a specific warm oil to use for me to provide balance for my body. Been using Jeff for a while now but never again. This last time left me in more pain than when I…read morewent in and now I'm weary of his "expertise." I came to him with neck, back, and psiatic pain, but he insisted on pressing his body weight down on a broken rib with a hematoma. He said it was a twisted rib and that it's happened to him before. I've told him before I have broken ribs, yet he still insisted on unwittingly exacerbating this injury I got the day prior. My issue with this is that he insisted on touching a very recent injury, despite me never mentioning it in the appointment booking email. I only ever mentioned the injury for him to avoid it, not for him to push his entire body weight on it and misdiagnose my injury. And on top of that, they don't even have the decency to return my calls and messages, even after asking for a refund ten days ago.
