The staff is very concerned with water safety and taught us some new things we did not know. My only tip is not everything is open at once- for example the bigger slides and lazy river weren't open when we were there so maybe call ahead so you know what you're getting. For us, it was okay because we were there with a toddler. Their smaller size didn't have a height requirement which was awesome!

I went to Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center with some friends on September 12, 2026, for the first…read moretime in about two years, and unfortunately, it just wasn't the same experience I remembered. The biggest difference was how much stricter everything seems to be now. Anyone under 17 has to take a swimming test just to use the diving boards, which honestly seems a little ridiculous, especially for older kids and teenagers who clearly know how to swim. Even the lazy river has become overly strict. In the past, I've always been able to enter from the exit if I was already right there, but now you absolutely MUST walk around and enter through the designated entrance. I understand having rules for safety, but some of these little things felt unnecessarily rigid and took away from the relaxed, fun atmosphere I remembered. The staff also seemed more annoyed and less friendly than during my previous visit. Nothing terrible happened, but the overall vibe was definitely different. I had such a great experience here two years ago, which is why I was excited to come back with my friends. Unfortunately, this visit just didn't live up to what I remembered. It feels like there are more rules, more restrictions, and a lot less of that easygoing, family-friendly atmosphere that made it so enjoyable before.

My other mommy friends also join us, so he had some familiar faces to play with. It's held once a week for about 6 to 8wks (class length varies) indoor, they have cars, balls, hoops, ramps, tunnels, blocks, trampolines, lots of stuff that littles under 3yrs old can play with for 45min. It includes song time and a bit of outdoor play with bubbles if weather permits. I like having affordable, short term commitment classes like this for my son, esp during the summer. I really have zero complaints: registration is easy, it's affordable, it's nearby, it's entertainment for my little man.

Great facility!…read more Chandler is the other side of the Valley from me, but since this year's Tri For The Cure took place at Arrowhead Pool and Park, I was able to check it out today for the event. I loved that it was so easy to get to (just over a mile off of the 101 from the Chandler Blvd exit)... The pool has 8 lanes that are 50 meters in length plus the deep end/diving area (seen in the photo). The facility has plenty of restrooms, changing rooms, etc... and it's located right in the middle of the beautiful Arrowhead Park - it was a fantastic venue for the Triathlon. Despite the event running an hour and a half behind schedule, it was a ton of fun and ran smoothly once we started. We enjoyed watching the youth event - it's amazing how many kids participated! They were so cute! I recommend both the event as well as this facility depending on your goals and where in the Valley you live. Thanks to the City of Chandler for hosting this amazing event, and for all of the volunteers that helped out along the way! Congrats to all of those that competed today as well!

Covered seating is also available as well. Locker rooms are large and plentiful, with lots of toilets, showers, changing areas and lockers for 25 cents. I will go out of my way to swim here. $2.25 for adults, and kids are much less. Go check this place out!

Around 11am today, the unions on our backwash assembly broke, rendering the pump and filter inoperable, all while there was quite a bit of remaining dirt from last night in the new pool. The new surface is susceptible to staining and so we couldn't afford to have the pool pump/filter be down for several days. I called many companies and got a hold of Prickly Pools. They advised that their regular distributors were closed for the long weekend, but said they'd call Leslies to see if they could locate the part, and if located could come tomorrow to complete the repair. They ended up locating the part at a Leslies close to our home, so after asking nicely for them to come today, they agreed!! The technician arrived, and advised that we didn't have much pvc left once the broken part was cut off, and that he may have to replumb a lot of additional areas. But, he found a solution using a tool so he didn't have to replumb the additional areas. I appreciated his honesty and creativity in finding a solution that saved me money. I've had a great experience, and it's nice to know that honest, timely and overall great customer service still exists. I was impressed with their offer to call around to Leslies to find the part, agreeing to repair same day at my request, and being honest by coming up with a solution to avoid a more costly replumb. Highly recommend this company!!
