It seems like every 30 minutes they have everybody move out of the pool. Thanks threaten to call Cody and think somebody would pay for me on the atmosphere with my house but do you go to work that isn't an uncomfortable top steel. Bad customer service stressful atmosphere twice the price of other public pools. And the water was pretty much grayish.

The pricing isn't bad for him, but for me to go in and sit, it's twice the price of him. I only had enough for him to go in so I had to stand outside the fence to keep an eye on him. Non swimmers should not pay to sit on the bleachers. Otherwise this place is ok for the kids to have out an hour or 2 in the summer.

The kiddos can chill in the shallow end, you can cannon ball off the diving boards, slide down the water slides, get your excersise by swimming in the lap pool, or just lounge on a pool float! This is a very nice facility that includes large locker rooms, showers, and cleanly restrooms. At the pool they have shaded areas for the non-simming folk, vending machines, and of course the diving boards, kiddie pool area, 2 different waterslides, and lap pools. For all this the kid day pass is only $2 while an adult is $4, And on Monday night its 50% off! How can you not love a good pool with a refreshing swim in the summertime in Arizona? I know I do!…read more I like to take advantage of the fact that there are an abundance of wonderful public pools throughout the valley, and this is one of them. It's open to anyone, and the charge to come in is reasonable. Adults are $3.50, and kids are $1.75. They have wonderful locker rooms here, with plenty of showers, changing rooms, and bathrooms for people to use. The pool area itself is quite nice, with the shallow entry like a beach feature, lap lanes, a small diving area and plenty of water features for kids and adults. They have one of those bucket things that tips water too! Even a water slide!!! There's covered areas for you to stay cool throughout the facility, and several lifeguards throughout the pool, playing close attention to those swimming. I wish they had a few more lawn chairs here, but most were taken by the time I got to the pool in the middle of the day. I also grabbed a pamplet, and they offer swimming lessons all summer long if you have kids, along with a summer swim team as well. If I had kids, I would enroll them in something like this, for many reasons. For starters, kids need to learn to swim, and it promotes water safety, along with building confidence and keeps them in shape. I was a swimmer growing up, so I can speak from experience! I also like supporting local services like this, as I feel like I get to be part of the community I live in. Its part of the city of Mesa, so its like going to the libary for me....but instead of books I trade up for water! LOL People here are wonderfully nice, and I will gladly go again. The atmosphere felt incredibly unwelcoming, and some interactions came across racially insensitive, leaving us feeling alienated and singled out. The family event thrown here was heavily restricted, making it difficult to host. Another situation was with cleanup summed up was explicitly told not to throw away the trash, only to be berated afterward for following those instructions. Felt hypocritical in a place that prides itself on having so many strict rules and policies, and would expect clear communication and consistency, but experienced the opposite. That is a family gathering ruined :)

There is no yelp page for just founders park/playground, so here are the pics of the playground…read more Its a brand new playground with the crazy new playground builds they do nowadays that I am not the biggest fan of for little kids because of how dangerous they make these playgrounds now. But its a nice playground. Has parking on both sides. Has restrooms. Baseball field, skatepark, basketball court. Plenty of ramadas and tables and benches. The playground has cool features on the ground for littles, but the big playground is hard to get up and down since one way up and its a weird ramp thing and the play structure is narrow for so many kids. There are 2 dog parks next to the playground. The splash pad is where its at though- so nice!!!! All gated it and enclosed- lots of seating in shade and also grass areas! So I would come back for the splash pad for sure!!! There is also a cool you and baby swing here too.

It is very organized and the lady who runs it is very efficient. There is a $3 charge at the door and a sign up sheet for teams. It is really packed during the summer as a lot of college players return home to Phx for break. The people who play all know each other and there are some cliques but everyone is nice. The facility itself is good. Rubber floors though. Two courts.
