The AI operator was helpful when I couldn't get a response from anyone. I liked their Builder Trend Ap for communication. What needs improvement- project manager didn't respond in a timely manner or not at all. Never picks up the phone. This is the main contact for the project and this added to undue frustration. Good communication is key to any project. It seems it's hard to find good people that have the skills to do this now adays. I will continue to recommend Shasta as they do build a great but just don't expect great communication unless they get better project managers

After receiving the service agreement, I carefully reviewed the terms before signing and had several questions about conflicting provisions. One provision authorizes Shasta to charge customer's credit cards for repairs under $50 without prior customer approval, while another stated that customers would be contacted for approval before repairs were made. I asked for clarification regarding these conflicting terms, as well as several other provisions in the agreement. Rather than answering my questions, I was promptly informed that Shasta was suddenly unable to accept new customers because they were at capacity. I can't say whether the timing was coincidental, but I found the experience disappointing and unprofessional. I believe any company asking customers to sign a legally binding agreement and keep a credit card on file should be willing to answer reasonable questions about its terms before requesting a signature. Read the service agreement carefully, ask questions, and make sure you fully understand any authorization to charge your credit card before signing. I will NOT use Shasta.

The atmosphere felt incredibly unwelcoming, and some interactions came across racially insensitive, leaving us feeling alienated and singled out. The family event thrown here was heavily restricted, making it difficult to host. Another situation was with cleanup summed up was explicitly told not to throw away the trash, only to be berated afterward for following those instructions. Felt hypocritical in a place that prides itself on having so many strict rules and policies, and would expect clear communication and consistency, but experienced the opposite. Also, before arriving, they had tickets listed $100 online and on another site for $50 and also in ResortPass. Luckily, upon arrival and a group of 8 girls, we were not charged. We ended up staying offsite and got sucked into a 4k minimum table by the pool because they said we wouldn't get in otherwise. That wasn't the case, guest or not was walking in without any problem. While we thought we could easily meet our minimum, that isn't the case because the service team takes 30 min to bring out drinks. Also, the food takes an hour to come out. Lastly, as a table, you're being forced to pay a 20% tip outside the minimum for mediocre service at best. Avoid paying for a table, it's not worth the stress or $$. I think the W management needs to look for a new company or leadership to run their pool parties. Hope this helps someone to not fall into the same trap.
