My baby just graduated from the infant "Babbles and Bubbles" class at AquaSafe Swim School, and we both had a wonderful experience! Class is free for infants under 5 months, so this was what drew us to AquaSafe in the first place. I had no idea what to expect, but I was excited to find a free activity to do with my 3-month old. From the first class we attended, I was super impressed with how much was packed into a 30-minute time slot and how each activity supported our babies' development. In the two months that I had my daughter in this class, she has become much more comfortable and confident in the water. A huge shoutout to coach Steven! He was absolutely wonderful with each of the babies in class. Every session, he took the time to give individual attention and support to each baby, customizing the experience for their age and skill level. He had a great amount of knowledge about exactly how to modify activities to accommodate both younger and older babies. This location is very unorganized. I had scheduled a swim class for a private lesson and they did not add it to the schedule and booked someone else and took my son out of class 5 minutes into his session. Not once did manager apologize to me or my son they simply said your son wasn't on the schedule and this child was. Audrey is the person who spoke with and suddenly unavailable during this conversation. They clearly double book that session but declined to admit an error. It's sad that I have to give this review. We started here back in 2016 with our first child when it was called, "Aqua Safe". It was solid, personable, and coaches actually enjoyed and cared for the kids growth. Fast forward to now, our oldest (8), middle child (4), and our youngest (2) have been loyal to this company for a long time. The facility was OK, we stayed because of the young coaches that taught our kids, also we don't like change in general . Since it was bought out from SafeSplash, we saw a decline in students, the vibes are off from the coaches, the parents/kids. The management cares more about the tasks not actually care of each kid. The new swim curriculum is weird and I don't see any improvement from my 2 and 4 year old boys compared to my 8 year old when he started with aqua Safe's curriculum. Finally, I don't recommend it this place anymore. It used to be awesome for the kids but now they're more focus on making money vs kids growth in swim. We're currently at Swimhaus Swim School and it's been amazing. Family local owned, which is huge plus for us!! read more

They really should update on here that the good reviews for this company are actually for "Aqua Safe" which is the swim school that SafeSash acquired. SafeSplash is trash and should have had the older good reviews wiped clean before they acquired a great swim school! I've seen the decline in students since the school was acquired and while I sit in the bleachers I listen to the other parents complaining about how downhill this place has gone since getting acquired. There is only 1-2 original swim teachers still there after the acquisition. Everyone left! SafeSplash is horrible and I wish the old swim school was never acquired by them. When you call the Gilbert number and it redirects you to an outsourced person in another state. You can't even reach someone at the front desk here. If your child is sick or out of town and needs to miss a class, they won't even work with you on that day to reschedule. You need to wait until the following day for a makeup token to be issued on your account.... However when you go to view the account online, no makeup tokens are actually given, so if you don't actively call to check on it, you get screwed out of a class that you paid for. If you're out of town for more than two weeks they make you pay $25 to hold your class or else you'll lose your spot. Good luck being enrolled here and something happen to you because they aren't very easy to work with when rescheduling a class. There used to be a manager walking around premises, coming up to us personally and giving us updates about our children's swim progress. Now you don't see anyone except a front desk receptionist or the swim teachers who are all hiding behind glass sitting in the water. You cannot talk to anyone about your children's progress! My daughter was excelling in swim and every couple of months gaining a new ranking in swim. Now that she's with SafeSplash, she's been in the same ranking for 8 months. The teachers have no drive or motivation here. The swim coaches here all look miserable and unhappy. I don't blame them, I would be unhappy, too, working for this company. They don't like to bump students up. This company keeps them at the ranking they are at for far longer than they should because they want all your money! They don't push my daughter to do better. She's a great swimmer for her age and can do so much more than what her current teacher is teaching. I'll be looking around at other swim schools in the valley. This one is the worst and I will never enroll my children in a SafeSplash chain when I move. Hate is a strong word and I really hate this company. I have already told every parent from my daughter's preschool class (15+ parents) not to go to this swim school and I'm so glad they listened and went elsewhere. Now it's time for us to leave this school and find a much better one in the valley. read more

Our daughter has been taking lesson since she turned 1, she is 3 now and is doing AMAZING in the pool. She's moved up classes twice already and can hold her breath for 40 seconds under the water which gives this mom peace of mind when shes in the pool at parties or at a friends house. We joined in 2017 when we had one kid and now we have 3 kids. This place used to be family owned by AquaSafe and it was amazing. Our first son advanced as expected or even earlier! Our second son was in between the acquirement and transition and hasn't advanced like his older sibling. We miss the original coaches and manager, Steve. It's less personable now and too corporate. The baby toddler class used to have structure and a curriculum, now it's just "play" time in the pool without teaching the previous curriculum like tummy floats, back floats, swim around, roll overs etc. We still do it for our youngest son because we've been here for so long, but the new parents and kids don't know what to do or have any guidance. Coach Aiden for my oldest son does show he cares a lot and I can see my oldest advancing. Cannot say the same about my other boys though because they have different coaches. The coaches are very friendly and always willing to chat about progress or any questions we have. They know my kids by name and always greet them. Coach Steven is always willing to help and answer questions my daughter or I have and help her learn. He's very approachable, always around and talking to parents and helping kids when on deck. Coach Maddie is always one of my favorites to chat with at the front desk, so friendly and willing to help! Coach Aly is great, when she's on deck she is always moving around and helping coaches and kids and at swim meets she does a great job staying organized and getting kids to their lanes when its their turn. We have been bringing our baby to the bubbles and babbles swim class since he was 3 months old and he absolutely loves it! It's free for babies 6 weeks-5 months old which is awesome because it helps them get comfortable in the water. It's a 30 minute class which consists of songs, light splashing, gliding through the water in various positions, tummy time, and more! His head stays above the water the whole time. What can I say but wow! Did a trial class for my two girls this evening which they offer for free. Class started promptly at 5:30pm and there were 4 total students. Instructor was engaging and friendly with my girls. They both raved about her after class. During class the instructor got my littlest to dunk her head (more than once) under water. Both girls did better than I expected. I immediately signed them up after class was done. They offer different times based on skill level and they also offer a discount for your second child. No registration fee either! They do require you to pay for the last month and pro-rated our monthly fee since it's mid-month. All in all I'm happy that I made the decision to take them in and they're both equally as happy for their upcoming class. read more

Aquasafe is the best swim school out there. I have noticed such dedication by Steven, the Lead coach and Swim school manager. And, under this leadership, all coaches are excellent. My daughter is 4 and was struggling with breathing while doing roll overs while swimming. Steven personally noticed that and then worked with her at no extra cost to teach her the right breathing technique, while doing the roll overs. In two 30 minute classes, my daughter looks so comfortable with roll overs, like it was never an issue. I am so glad to have found this swim school, where I know that each child in school is a major focus. I would highly highly recommend this place, if you are looking for warm, compassionate and incredible swim coaches for your child, who know exactly what they are doing. After being with a different swim school for our daughter after a year or longer, we felt they weren't very consistent with their instructors so we found Aquasafe on Yelp. They do offer a free trial lesson which is very much appreciated so you can see what their school has to offer. Our daughter is almost 2 and has been swimming with Aly for a few months now. We really like her and our daughter has gotten acquainted with her and the lessons are very educational. We definitely feel that our daughter is making progress. We also really like their facility. The facility has always been clean but during COVID they have really stepped up the safety and cleaning measures. The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive. Steven, the Lead Swim Coach and Manager is the best! He knows all the kids by sight and name, he is very involved in each kids progression. It has been such a difference, my son wasn't advancing and it was just kind of frustrating to not see any results for the amount of time we had been there. Went here off of a friends referral. My daughter had been trying to learn at another swim school in Chandler to no success. We hired our baby sitter a trained life guard and still no success.
