I'm not sure why this place has so few stars. Every time I have gone, I have received excellent service. The two ladies at the front desk today were very pleasant to every patient that came in. I would suggest moving the check-in kiosks to a place that is a bit more obvious to people coming in through the door so that these ladies can focus on their jobs instead of directing people to the kiosk every minute. They were both very accommodating to anyone who walked in and polite to a couple of patients who were frustrated when they didn't bring in their own paperwork (one woman wasn't even in the right blood lab, and they still directed her with kindness). If you can get an appointment, you're in and out lickety split. If you can't get an appointment, I do not suggest going at 6 AM because everyone who has to be fasting for their blood test is there and the wait for walk-ins can be a little long. Try 645 or 7 o'clock. Every time I've gone, I am pleasantly surprised by those who draw my blood. They are usually very quick and patient. I've gone to other places for my blood tests and I usually end up bruised - not here! i've never developed a bruise a day later, and it has never hurt. this is my go to place for blood tests. Even when they don't have available appointments, this is where I go! As for the waiting room, there's plenty of seating and you get to watch your name countdown on the waitlist screen. read more

I visited the Sonora Quest lab at 155 E Warner after my doctor recommended tests, a location that, amusingly, isn't even listed on Yelp. I asked to schedule an appointment, but the two staff behind the counter were absorbed in their phones. One finally tossed me a card with a QR code and said, "Scan this to book." I did, and arrived for my 7:30 slot, signed in at 7:25, only to be ignored until after 8:00. The same woman who gave me the card then called to request my insurance information. I pointed out my appt time, and she said I wasn't on their schedule, and hinted that multiple people were having trouble with the booking system. Frustrating, unprofessional, and avoidable... bypass this location if you can zero stars! read more

Front desk has the worst attitude and should not be in customer service. They act like you're imposing by asking a simply question.

Fast, polite, and professional.... Maybe I walked on on a good day or perhaps they get a lot of unhappy people through their door to begin with. I was a walk-in in the middle of the day expecting an hour or so to be called back, at least I was hoping no more. That was their estimate as well. But they moved quickly with clearing out the waiting room and I was sitting with my assigned vampire, Nevaeha, inside of 20 minutes. It is rare that I get a phlebotomist that will randomely go to my right arm and without hesitation find a vein with one quick stick of the needle and strike blood as if she have been doing it all her life. OK, no one has ever drawn blood from my right arm ever, only my left. But this seasoned pro, Nevaeha, has only been at it for less than 6 months. I was so impressed I now have this location and the phlebotomist name in my phone book for next time. And when I needed something at the front desk, everyone was accommodating, friendly, and as professional as Nevaeha. We have had efficient and friendly service at this Sonora Quest location. The check in process is a little odd as the computers aren't always functional but once you're checked in you can see exactly where you are in line because they provide a list on the TV screen at the front of the waiting area. That transparency is helpful and appreciated. The staff we've encountered are professional and the service is typically quick. read more

Very disappointed with SonoraQuest. Checked in for my appointment and am usually seen within ten minutes. This visit? After more than 30, was told it would be another hour and 25. Two hour wait with an appointment and half full lobby. Couldn't stay, nor would I. Absolutely unconscionable to not make a general announcement or provide customers with some warning. read more

Very unprofessional front office staff who refused to enter the correct information and authorization numbers for billing. This has happened at each visit resulting in huge amounts of wasted time. If you have VA coverage for community care, do not go here as they will refuse to enter the authorization number and will keep attempting to bill incorrectly, not send bills, and then attempt to send you to collections; all while denying to fix their own mistake. Use the authorization number on the order despite what they try to tell you about your VA ID. They are clueless! read more

Fastest blood draw experience I've ever had including wait time and draw. I didn't even have an appointment and was out within 10 minutes. Best part was I only felt the lightest poke in my blood draw! Huge win! read more

I recently had bloodwork done at this location with Reagan as my phlebotomist. Coming from someone with a history of fainting, Reagan was confident and knowledgable as well as great at her job! They got me in and out very quickly and all staff members are friendly and professional. Office space is clean and a calm environment. A few years back, I had bloodwork done at this same location and unfortunately passed out but it was handled excellently and with care. read more

However, check in was easy, front desk staff were pleasant and efficient, and Kimberly was friendly and fast at getting my blood drawn. Excellent service for my blood draw! In and out in 15 minutes even though I didn't have an appointment. The computer system was down and the staff quickly adapted their procedures and continued to perform testing. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful. A young man named Miguel was my technician and he did an excellent job. He was proficient at his job, friendly and personable. I went to Sonora Quest for a routine blood draw--while blood can be replenished, unfortunately, my time cannot be returned. 1) I tried calling to verify my lab orders beforehand, but the wait time was an hour and a half. They close before that, so I went in without being able to confirm anything. 2) Upon arriving, I checked in at a kiosk, which doesn't ask for much to verify your information. God forbid you ask the front desk for help. I witnessed an older gentleman attempt to check in at the counter, and the staff member spoke to him in an incredibly condescending tone, directing him to the kiosk as if he was an inconvenience. The rudeness was palpable, even as a bystander. 3) While waiting, I was pulled aside about past due balances from over a year ago. I asked to verify these payments with the clinic they originated from, but the man insisted there was "nothing to verify." I'm fine with addressing unpaid balances, but if I want to confirm something, don't dismiss me. I also asked about the cost of today's bloodwork, as I'm on AHCCCS, and he assured me it wouldn't cost anything. 4) After waiting 45 minutes, I was called back and asked for my insurance card. When I handed it over, they informed me they don't accept AHCCCS. This could've easily been caught during check-in, had the kiosk or staff been more attentive, or even when I mentioned it earlier at the desk! 5) I asked them to print my lab orders so I could take them to LabCorp, but the woman confidently told me that LabCorp would already have the orders in their system. This didn't sound right, but she insisted. Of course, I arrived at LabCorp only to find they had no orders on file. When I explained what happened, even the LabCorp staff seemed baffled. In the end, it was a complete waste of my time. I'll have to try again once I get the orders sorted. LabCorp, by the way, provided better service, quicker processing, and a cleaner facility--at least based on my experience today. read more

Lab is closed even though sign on door says they are supposed to be open. Arrived at facility on 7/5 at 9:20am for fasting bloodwork and office was dark. There were three other people waiting outside as well surprised that office was closed when sign clearly displayed it was supposed to be open. One guy tried calling multiple numbers displayed on sign but not one ever picked up for any of them. read more

1/23/25: Starting to hate Sonora Quest. They billed an out of date insurance that we have not had for 2 years. Claim denied. No way to get a hold of them to fix. Tried to call customer service on different days, left on hold for 1 to 2 hours, no answer. Very hard to contact anyone about this, even at the lab, they know nothing. Instead I received a text message from RSI Collections spoke with Dulce... rude person she saw that they had my address wrong even though the requisite for blood drawn my address was correct. For my lasted lab drawn there wasn't an appointment available for 2 - 3 weeks according to the online schedule. I chose to "walk-in". By the time I was checked in there were only 7 people in front of me. Before I could get too settled in watching something on my phone my name was called. The phlebotomist was very pleasant, quick and efficient. In and out, as a walk-in appointment in under 45 minutes. More than I could ask for. read more

don't go here. I have gotten labs my whole life and usually almost never bruise. This time my entire arm was black not to mention it hurt badly! I then got the lucky call that they didn't send the lab on ice and had to go back. Got a different girl and would you believe it my arm turned black again. They use HUGE needles and don't do a good job! Go up the road to labcorp on valvista, you don't even feel it. read more

This location is turning patients away today due staffing shortages. I have been here 30 minutes and there hasn't been more that 3 patients here at any time. It is so sad to sit here and see the sick, the elderly and parents with children turned away because this location decided at 8 AM this morning to not see walk in patients. One lady call to see if this location took walk in patients was told yes and to come right over and was turned away. What's even worse is the gate keeper at the front desk in the rainbow mask. They are so rude and condescending. I worked in healthcare for over 40 years and I am appalled. read more

I book an 11am appt. for basic labs. I arrive at 10:55am, and their check in kiosk doesn't work. So I go to the front desk to check in manually and the lady says she doesn't see an appt for me. Luckily I took a screenshot showing my confirmation, time and location and showed it to her. She says she's going to put in a "time test" (whatever that means) and supposedly it puts me in priority. I sit for an hour as the entire room recycles, people walk in, get their name called and leave as sit there and wait. When I go to the counter and ask how much longer it's like she's inconvenienced by the question. Unreal. I will NEVER go back to this place. Not to mention it stunk in there. read more

I had a blood draw by JamieLee 404 on Halloween. She had a cute costume on, I think it was a vampire theme. She was so pleasant and efficient. When I got there and signed in to the kiosk, I thought, Oh Great, I'll be here an hour at least. To my surprise, it wasn't 10 minutes before she came out and called me back and had my draw done in no time. I have had a lot of draws as I used to give plasma regularly and this girl was highly skilled as I literally felt no pain at all. There was no bruising, no nothing. I told her I would give a review but forgot about it until now. JamieLee is great! read more

Well, I responded to the linked email address on the same day they asked me to (6/22), referenced my review, and as of today (6/27) crickets. Glad I scheduled future visits (we will have at least 4 in the next two months) at a different location. It's further, but we've used it before and it was a positive experience there (as much as getting your blood drawn can be). UPDATE: they emailed me, 6/29, so for the sake of completeness they did now respond. Many apologies were offered, and a promise to address the situation. I have no way of knowing if they will follow-through, but that's what they said. Meanwhile, the Brown location was very efficient at getting us in and out today. read more
