I came here to get a special kind of ultra sound called an MSK that is supposed to be aimed at imaging the musculoskeletal system. However, not a lot of places offer this special ultra sound because only certain technicians are able to perform it... Anyways, this location had someone available to do it so I came here for that. The technician was nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The procedure room was extremely clean! Unfortunately, the results were a kind of a draw because the images were not great and I had to go get an MRI. I wouldn't recommend getting that kind of ultrasound but I would recommend this imaging facility. read more

I had a appointment for a Cat scan at 11:40. I arrived at 11:20am . Sam, greeted me and promptly got me checked in. The lobby was very clean, calm, and quiet. In all the years I've been coming here, I have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes of I have an appointment. My X-rays were done in literally 5 minutes and I was out the door. Went in today for a 10:15 appointment. I arrived at 10:00, signed in, and waited to check in for paperwork. 45 minutes later, I was still waiting, despite seeing several people who arrived well after I did, be called up to the window. Thinking that my name had been lost in the system, I asked about it and was told that there were 2 people ahead of me. At the rate things were going just to check in, I would have been there for several hours more for the tests to be run. I walked. As another Yelper said, before I go back to this location, or to Banner in general, I will have to be on death's doorstep, with no other options. They are getting one star because 0 stars is not an option. read more

I had the BEST MRI experience there this past week. I was able to do an open MRI and let me just say Amy and Renee were SO amazing at making me feel so comfortable with the procedure always making sure my comfort level was perfect and continuously checking up on me during the procedure. This was always my favorite place to go for imaging. Got here today...January 2026 and is was like I was back in 2020. They wanted me to mask up. I said I would not and now I am sitting in a closet size room waiting for my mammogram. This is ridiculous! Banner Imaging in Gilbert has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly employees. Check in is quick and easy. You sign in and wait for your name to be called. When your name is called they collect your insurance card, photo ID, order from your doctor and any copay or deductible that is due. When it's your turn to go back for your X-ray, mri or ct scan you are greeted by a friendly employee who explains the next step and may need to have you change into a gown depending on the type of test you are having done. Afterwards the friendly employee leads you to the exit. read more

These places are always a bit of a coin toss: it can be good or horrible. The intake for my MRI was fine, quick and efficient. Didn't wait too long after signing in so that was appreciated. Then things got a bit gnarly when I had to get undressed and put on a gown: I've been having MRIs, CTs and X-rays so often that maybe getting a "home" machine would be cheaper! Anyway the people were nice but it wasn't the usual calm experience like at SimonMed, I obviously am used to wearing only 100% cotton, no buttons or zippers, no jewelry etc. Omg what a problem they made, I won't be going to that location again unless I'm sedated or dying and it's the only one open. What has always been a breeze, in and out as soon as the imaging is done turned into a bad anxiety attack and a ruined day. Being treated lime I have no brain or understanding of these machines was offensive, and they turned everything around like these people tend to do. Rules are rules, for safety, yes, but being horrible to a patient and not caring to listen what is being said...really isn't conducive to a good visit. I love coming to this imaging center. Every one of the staff members are so friendly. When I walk in the door, they greet me they acknowledge me. They call me over to their station if it's open versus telling me to just sign in and wait. The staff in the back doing the imaging is friendly and take the time to talk to you. Upon exiting the front desk, staff greet me again by name thank me for coming and wish me a good day. The center is also very clean, it's clear the team members have pride in the work. They are doing at this center and I feel very safe in their care and that they provide good quality imaging. read more

1st was the IV - Lauren carefully found the sharpest needle and made sure that the area was sterile - and I didn't feel anything on the way in. She made sure that everything went smoothly. Lauren is clearly an expert at getting the patient prepared for the procedure. Next up was the MRI w/out contrast and then MRI w/ contrast (about 30 minutes) and Lex (the MRI operator) explained everything every step of the way. He removed the needle and, again, I didn't feel a thing. These folks are at the top of their game, make a great team, and do well for the patient. THANK YOU!!! read more

I had made an appointment for X-rays just to show up and being told there's an hour wait because they had taken in a couple of walk ins. Besides that it was an ok experience. I came back the next day and just needed one xray done. Not sure how things work nowadays but when I worked in imaging we doubled checked the patients info and confirmed DOB and also shielded the patient for X-rays. Also if a student is taking the X-rays we asked the parents permission. None of those were done. read more

Positive: I actually requested banner imaging to get my ultrasound. This office was prompt regarding getting my imaging completed and read by the radiologist. The turn around was fantastic! The technician was professional and kind. Negative: Front Desk - professionalism and mannerism. My primary did not get the report and I went in to obtain a copy of my imaging report. I went in, I was not greeted by staff, I walked to one desk - she was working on office tasks so I decided to walk to another desk, she was on her cell phone. (apparently her name was Vanessa) she looked up at me and said "you have to sign in - there could be a line." I told her "well you were on your cellphone?.." so I began signing in and thankfully Lisa (who was originally working on office tasks) assisted me. For the record - there was no line and no one ahead of me. Your front office represents your company and is the first interaction patients have. It was very unprofessional and rude. read more

My appointment was scheduled for 4:15 and I didn't get seen for another hour. It took so long that I finally got taken back after closing. When the worker asked for my weight I told her I didn't know so she called me a smart butt. Along with that they didn't change the weight of the person before me causing my 12 year old self to go home crying believing I weighed 267 pounds when I most likely don't even weigh half of that. If I could rate it zero stars I would. If you like long wait times, being called a smart butt, and crying because of the wrong weight I 100% recommend but if you don't then this isn't the place for you. I've been here on a few occasions for different tests and it's one of the best imaging centers ever. It's super clean, the staff is very friendly and professional and the wait time is fast I came in for an abdominal ultra and I loved the tech she was amazing I highly recommend this center if you're in the Gilbert area. read more

Went to Banner Ironwood where i was directed. Waited 20 minutes "we don't do that type of x-ray here" More calls "go to Gilbert bla bla bla" I Uber here $44 and they don't have my orders. They offer no assistance just "sorry" so i'm back on the phone in 107degrees outside. Not fair Banner!! **So not "all" Banners have access to all records and orders. WTHeck fix it #Banner so patients don't suffer from your lack there of. After 25 minutes I was able to make direct contact w/my MA's cell. She is an angle and she faxed the orders but if i didn't have her, $44 home w/o x-ray. This is just poor, unprofessional care and I've left all #Banner except one great doctor but still all the "Banner problems leak from there broken system". +The positive what is the RT tech was friendly and polite as well as the front check in area. read more

I was scheduled for an MRI at the Gilbert, Banner Imaging location. I am severely claustrophobic. The open MRI machine broke. It had taken all week for me to psych myself up enough, just to go to the appointment. I had a one hour drive. Instead of cancelling my appointment, staff decided to have me use the bigger closed MRI machine. They didn't tell me that at the time (smart move), just aht they had another machine. They ensured I had an eye mask and music that I liked to listen to too. More importantly, I was not treated like a child when I was crying from fear. I was treated with warmth, empathy, and respect. Also, some of the staff stayed with me and talked to me calmly and even rubbed my shoulder blade for support, to comfort me. I told them "I am good, I can finish now" and they said that they would prefer to stay with me. This kind of care is above and beyond. I never would have received this MRI without Dana, Oscar, Maria, and Rene'. They should be commended for the customer service that they provided to me. They are amazing staff! I had a great experience today at Banner imaging. I had to have an MRI, and a second calcium score done. I was in in out in 35 minutes with both tests! This is my first time here and I am really glad I found it. I had a terrible experience at SImon med otherwise I would never have thought to come here. Thank you! read more

My doctor needed an x ray as soon as possible. I called the main scheduling line and was able to get in right away. Scheduling was easy and instructions were clear. When I arrived at Banner Imaging in Gilbert I was able to sign in, get checked in, get changed and get to my x ray within 20 minutes. Staff was courteous, professional and very clear on instructions. In addition, the facility is very clean from the waiting room to the changing rooms. I highly recommend them! read more

I scheduled an exam over a week ago. Got a confirmation text for my appointment. Drove 45 minutes one way to check in for a 745 appointment only to be told that the exam hasn't been authorize through the insurance yet I missed an hour of work and another 45 minute drive back to my side of town. This could've all been avoided by calling me the night before stating that the exam hadn't been authorized and rescheduling me to a different date and not wasting my time I was not given any patient courtesy, and when I checked in all I got was a blank stare and asked if I'd like to reschedule.. I am a Banner employee also and our insurance is basically a monopoly where we don't have a lot of choice on where we can go and so healthcare employees have to get this mediocre care. read more

Contrary to a recent review giving a terrible review! I was referred by my doctor in June for a 3-D Imaging procedure and I was able to schedule it during July when I would be in town. I also opted to be on a call list, should an appointment open sooner, which I did, and I was seen on the rescheduled date and time without incident. The staff here from registration/check-in to the technician, were friendly and courteous throughout the visit. The lobby was clean, as was the changing room which was organized with neatly folded gowns in a container, and garment bags were provided for your blouse/bra. The imaging room seemed spotless, and the equipment looked newer and clean. I dropped into the restroom, and it was clean, sanitized, well-stocked, and spacious. I would highly recommend Banner Imaging (EVDI Gilbert at 665 N. Gilbert Rd, Gilbert AZ 85234). I intend to return here for my annual wellness check-up. Thank you, ladies, at Banner Imaging! W.
