Excellent location! I took my young daughter to this Sonora Lab location before, and they were very gentle and caring with her. My daughter was really scared at the time, but hardly even noticed them drawing her blood. I also had to have blood drawn today, and went in earlier than my appointment time. I only waited about 10-15 minutes, and they were very fast and courteous with my service! read more

Nice location, slow service for an appointment only place. From the time I checked in at the kiosk to being called to the front desk, the wait was 30 minutes. Then, I waited another 15 minutes to have blood test. Not sure if the cause of the delay-overbooking or lack of employees. Not a good fit for fasting patients. Total lack of customer centric service! They won't schedule an appointment for standard lab work but require you to fast. I have been sitting here for over an hour without a full check-in. I finally went up and asked how long I will have to wait and noted that I am fasting. They could not give me a time and did not apologize for how long it is taking. They have not designed their services to deliver to client expectations. Any other business would be out of business with this kind of service. Choose somewhere else folks! read more

We went to get a new born screen done at this location. The ladies at the front desk were super sweet even though it was a little busy. However the lady who did the new born screen barely spoke english and messed up the test badly! she didn't fill in the circles enough and did not fill them from the right side of the paper. So my new baby has a messed up test that I can not do again. I would not recommend this location for this test. If you are going for any other test I haven't ever had an issue with them beside this. read more

I had an appointment for my 1 year old daughter to get a blood draw from her doctor. I had the email that just stated that children needed to be supervised while there. I brought along my 3 year old son because I supervise both of my children all day. Upon arrival I was told they wouldn't take me back because their policy is 1 adult per 1 child under 8 years old. They said it was for my children's safety. I am very upset because it takes a few days to set appointments and doing these things with kids are never easy and the policy isn't stated on their website or the email they sent me. Very poor customer service. I wish I could use a different lab. read more

I scheduled an appointment in advance for 1:15 pm today for a (very important) breath test I needed to get done. It was really great to arrive to their office in the medical plaza only to see a sign saying they're closed today due to "an emergency" and telling people to go to another Sonora Quest. It's 1:00 pm. It's too late in the day to get an appointment at any other Sonora Quest, and it's too late in the day that if I do a walk in anywhere it'll take awhile (and I have other things to do today that prevent this as well). The fact they didn't call or email people who were coming in today is absolutely reprehensible. I understand that emergencies happen, but there is no reason they couldn't have communicated this emergency to everyone before their appointment times. I would've understood and had more respect for them. But this whole situation just peeved me, and I definitely will not be returning to this Sonora Quest. Very slow and poorly staffed there at opening on Wednesday they had one person to draw labs. 6 people standing in the hall waiting.

So this Sonora Quest only take appointments. My appointment time was 1100. I checked in on their kiosk at 1059. I sat in the waiting room until 1118. Then was called to the desk to present order and pay my copay. I then returned to waiting and was taken back at 1130. It's just not good customer service. If the patient came in 30 minutes late Sonora Quest would make that person reschedule. It's bad enough that they have no fasting appointments and you have to go so late in the morning. They need to look at the reviews but probably don't really care. Where else are you going to go for lab work! On a bright note The phlebotomist Karobin was quick and painless!! read more

My preferred location of them all. Even with coming back a second time for the same test, (Doc office didn't give right codes for testing), Its still been quick an easy with an appointment time set. One advantage of having a loooong wait times, I can write a review. Was here with my wife, she was sent by our Dr today for lab tests, so of course we had no appointment. Waited over two hours to get her blood drawn. Very small waiting room got crowded quickly, and we saw at least three people get up and just leave who were done with the waiting (one of the good things is one was ahead of us, so my wife moved up a slot). I saw one guy, who was there before us, who when finally called up to the desk was told he needed to go to the Brown location, the poor bastard now had to start his wait all over in a new location... Sonora Quest has a lock on our insurance, it most likely will do no good, but I will do my best to get another provider (or two it three) added, at least we will then have a choice. read more

I've always recommended Sonora Quest until today. No one likes going into a lab. They are going to a lab to find out what is wrong with them. They could be going thru cancer, they could be dying, they could just have the flu. At the end of the day, your employees should always demonstrate empathy for those patients. The way that my grandmother was treated at your office today was absolutely repulsive. She is 73 years old and has been having serious medical concerns. She came in today to provide a sample. The female employee at the checkin counter demonstrated the worst customer service I've ever heard of. My grandmother came in, and had an accident. She asked if she could explain this and the employee stated "I'm busy. Policy says check in and sit down" my grandmother tried to check in and then went back to the counter, again asking to explain why she cannot sit down. The employee again said "policy says you must sit down. I'm too busy to assist you". My grandmother stood next to the counter and cried, while your employee scolded her for not checking in properly and not sitting down. My grandmother cried until she was taken back. After she was taken back she went to her car and cried. I'm disgusted by her treatment at your facility. I understand your employee was busy but to show no empathy at all, or even to listen to what the patient is saying, is absolutely unacceptable to me. read more

I called the lab on Thursday the 25th of May. I was greeted by a young woman who answered my questions, and told me no appointment was needed for a fasting blood draw there. Today (26 May) I went to the laboratory and was greeted warmly by the receptionist, signed in and within 10 minutes was taken to the drawing station. The phlebotomist, Ilina, was courteous and professional. She checked all the paperwork and labeled the specimens and had me check for accuracy. I am very impressed by the staff and the cleanliness of this Sonora Quest Lab Facility. read more

Okay, so many of you have had the experience of getting your bluh.da (blood) drawn and have to wait in those crappy offices for an unknown amount of hours. Well, I was mixed about giving this review because then you all would go there & change it's fabulous aura! But I just had to give props to the two girls who work there... Rea and I'm sorry I didn't get the other girls name, but they ROCK-N-ROLL at their jobs!! It's always just the two of them & I have never waited more than 30 min. and then they are really sorry for that. Seriously, they are awesome! Went today to get a blood test done, I had made the appointment online through the website the day before and I found the website easy to use. I arrived in good time and Margaret at reception told me to sign in at the counter, she asked me for the reason on my visit which I explained. She then told to to fill in a form she gave me and told me I would have to pay out of pocket for my blood draw which I already knew about. After I filled the form in and gave it back to Margaret I waited about 10 minutes and the Phlebotomist Renee S came and got me she took me through the back to the room and asked me to confirm my details and the blood test I was having. She then tried to take blood from my right Median vein but no luck, so she moved to the left arm and took it from the Basilic Vein as my other veins disappeared , she explained that the vein she used was a top vein so it would bruise slightly. It was quick and I was out in 10 minutes, l would go there again if needed. read more

The location and building are nice but I was very disappointed with the staff and phlebotomist that did the heel poke on my daughter. Not friendly at all, very bossy about where people sit and what they did during the draw. She was telling my two year old things to do that he didn't understand, which isn't her job anyway. She was pulling on my daughters foot so hard that I had to lean towards her as I was lifting my daughter towards her. Then she tells me to hold her against my body, well I can't do that if you are pulling on her. Overall, a very disappointing visit, wish I had gone somewhere else. read more

One star is a generous compliment. I got to the lab and there was about 5 people waiting. They called them all so I was next. By this time there were 4 more people who came after I did and they all got called first. I stood by the front desk and I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to assist me. Nobody did. Front desk was as empty as the Sonoran desert. I saw a phlebotomist and decided to wave at him because the front desk person was still MIA. I asked him to give me my order bc I was leaving. He wanted me to take a photocopy of my actual order. I don't know why he wanted to keep my original order but I refused and once again I asked for the original order. It was very clear he was annoyed by my request but it has been an hour already since I've arrived. He finally gave me the original order. Never he apologized for the delay or wish me a good day. I've been to other Sonoran locations were the staff have been very professional but this one is no joke. Never again!! read more

I wish there was 1/2 a star but I guess 1 will have to do. This place is the worst experience I have every had at a lab. The front office is so incompetent and don't know how to run a busy front office. I needed to have labs done and walked in. I got there at 8:05 am. I asked how many people were ahead of me and the lady tells me 2. I didn't think it was a problem so I waited. No one said anything about they would be seeing all the appointments before the walk ins. I waited 1 hour 1/2 and then walked up again and asked "how much longer I would have to wait and how many more people were in front of me"? The lady couldn't even find my paper since she hadn't even put it up to be called. Then the lady then says well there are 6 appointments ahead of you and 4 walk in. patients. I was so upset i asked her why nobody told me they kept seeing appointment patients and pushing the walk in patients back and she just stared at me like a deer about to get run over. The other lady had the gull to even say" I feel for you". What she should have done is run the front office flow better. This place is a joke and unmanaged. Slowest lab around, in an hour of waiting have only called back maybe 6 patients. Have had to come to this location before and it is always like this. For an office this busy, they really need to put some effort into getting people taken care of. Don't know if they just don't have enough employees or if they just don't have the right ones. I travel and have regular blood tests. This office is among the best I have been in. It was quick, efficient, clean, and professional.

This lab is my favorite location. I get my blood drawn very frequently and all of the staff ladies are always kind and welcoming and helpful. All of the phlebotomists are very competent and good at what they do. I've actually tried to find a favorite phlebotomist to request but they are all great. I'd suggest making an appointment online, as that helps the process move quickly. read more

She hardly even looked up at me while I was asking her my questions. I have a slip that has about 15 tests on it and I wanted a little information on some of them.
